OMGoodness that is stunning. I was like no,no,no, before you started drizzling on the extra resin. I loved it before the drizzle and swipe. I love it just as much after the swipe. lol 😂 I know the pain of going too far and wishing you had stopped at one point, and the joy when it all comes together. ❤
I absolutely loved how it was turning out before the use of the silicone wand spreading the colors and it was a good decision not adding the vinyl.. The end result was still beautiful but I Loved the the 'galaxy' look.
I appreciate your feed back, Lynne. This was an experiment. As someone who doesn't like to waste materials, I could see this wasn't sinking into my base coat of epoxy. So, I felt like it needed a light blending, to avoid losing my interference powder. But, I do appreciate your honest opinion.😊🐭☃️
Really a beautiful tumbler. Wasn’t at all what I expected but I’m glad it wasn’t. Never thought to use the Micah powders like that. Definitely gonna try this.
Yeh I think you were right to leave it it’s pretty just the way she is 😍I’m waiting on some interference powers I order during the sales 👏🏻👏🏻excited now xx
Thank you Amanda🥰 I have some other ideas for the interference powder, but I'd love to see how you use yours. And, smart lady, save the money wherever you can😊🌺

Thank you Jennifer 😊 I'm so glad you were inspired. I'm sure yours will look amazing. Don't hold back, jump right in. All my best to you. Thank you for watching and your support 😊🌺🐭
It’s beautiful. I kept hoping you’d use the heat gun after sprinkling the micas. I’m tempted to try it myself since I already have the pearls and the micas.
Thank you, Sharla😊. I wanted to avoid a swirl. So, I didn't want the heat to cause movement in my epoxy. But, by all means, give that a try. I'd be interested in the results.😊🌺🐭
@@sandisshedhouse4741 I would love to know what alcohol inks you used? Absolutely stunning tumbler & technique!! I've never seen inks like that. I have the Lets Resin powders & LOVE them. Thanks for sharing the tutorial 😁😁🥰🥰🥰
I approve of not putting decals on the piece. Beautiful!!! I'm new to this and want to know where I can get one of those machines that rotate the cup. Thanks.
Thank you, Allen😊 I assume you are asking about the cup turner. Mine is home made. If you're interested in making your own, I can give you the basics. However, if you want to just try it, to see if you like doing cups, Amazon has a few different turners that are ready to go, right out of the box. I hope this helps. Let me know if I can help you along your journey.😊🌺🐭
So pretty. Yes I have never seen the interference micas used that way but it certainly turned out beautiful something for me to keep in mind I just never am that brave lol.
Thank you Christine😊. I would love suggestions as to how this mica powder is used. I know it can be mixed with resin or alcohol. But I am open to additional application methods. Thank you for watching 😊🌺
@@sandisshedhouse4741 I know there are two kinds of mica powders that I am aware of. One is for paint pouring that is mixed with a pouring medium. The other is to be mixed with resin. But like you did here if yours is for resin then pouring it over a dark colour gets your the colour shimmer in different lights. Just make sure when you mix it in that you really mix it and ensure each bit of mica is mixed in so you don’t have a piece that doesn’t get mixed. If you mix it over white you can also get the coloured effect I think it is just a more subtle but pretty look. And also you only need a bit of mica to mix. Have fun playing
Christine, it's mind blowing, the different ways, we can use art materials. Isn't it? A little trick I picked up, mixing your mica powders in a small amount of alcohol, to make a slurry, before adding resin, helps to ensure all the mica powder is incorporated. No chunks left behind.😊. I'm definitely going to be doing more experimenting with the interference mica. 🙂🌺
This is just stunning. Definitely a good choice to leave it without vinyl! Going to have a play with this method for sure. Thinking if you heat the resin after the inks but before the powders it might flow slightly better?
Thank you, Wickedkittin☺️. I had considered it, but I didn't want it to band around the tumbler. I'm going to be playing with this method again. I appreciate your suggestion and your support ☺️💖
Thank you.😊 Unfortunately, I don't remember the colors. They were part of a set by Let's Resin, Interference Powder mica. Amazon has it. I hope this helps.🙂

This is gorgeous……is the powder you used just mica powder? And, can any prepped painted tumbler do? I think yours was powder coated? Good video and you have a new subscriber. 😊

Hi Lori, Interference powder is a Mica powder that shows differently on a black base, than white. It throws more of an opalescence than a particular color. Does that make sense? 😊🌺🐭
Interference powder is a type of mica powder, that is reactive, when used over a black background. By itself it appears to have very little pigment. The black background enhances the color shift effect of the powder. I hope that makes sense😊🌺🐭
