This is awesome. My z just stopped running yesterday. Did this and no codes came up. Must be fine.
It's ridiculous that a code scanner is so cheap and they aren't standard equipment on every car.
No we get a check engine light that may mean it's time for scheduled maintenance or that the engine is about to explode.
I'm with you on this one! Check engine lights can be deceiving...I've triggered it from not tightening the gas cap tight enough...but it doesn't tell you that anywhere lol

Hey! Thanks for tuning in, and my apologies for the delayed reply! This lip is actually the N3R style front lip for 06-09 year from Vicrez! I think it's one of the better looking, not as common front lips!
Great video ! thanks you , i have a question is it common if a 350z has an after market exhaust the engine management light ? looking to buy one and this is what the seller has told me??
Hey! Glad you enjoyed it! It is possible the check engine light could be on due to an aftermarket exhaust. I would just look for one without a check engine light just to be safe because there could be a number of different things hiding behind that light! I’d suggest bringing a ECU scan-tool, you can pick them up from the local auto store for like $30. You can plug it in and it should show you all the codes for the check engine light. Hopefully this helps! Let me know if you’ve got any other questions🙏🏼

What happens if my oil light is blinking what’s that mean?
Hey! Could be low oil pressure, or just a faulty oil pressure sensor. Check the oil level and make sure its topped off. If it is really low on oil, this will cause low pressure. I wouldn't drive it until you can be sure what the issue is just to be safe though🙏 Appreciate you tuning in!
When diagnostic mode is done how do i know if there is the error ? The specific will start blinking?
Just did this test and the drivers side radiator fan never came on. Is it supposed to? The passenger side fan did come on.
does this work if the gauge cluster isn’t working?

When a service engine light soon is on ( 2008 350z @ 180,000) is that a red flag not to buy?
Hey! Could be a number of things. Most of the time it’s exhaust related if there is an aftermarket exhaust (Like if they removed the cats, etc...) if it’s stock, I’d be a little worried, but then again could be something simple like the gas cap isn’t tightened enough. Definitely worth checking out if the price is right🤙
