For me, the main re-playability has to do with the amazing fun character builds to try (try bow tesladin or zeal sorc!) and accumulating wealth through different means. There is no need for paragon levels or atlas farming or anything else - just play the game and always come up with new goals for your characters. No other game, including POE, has ever come close to D2 in terms of look, feel, depth, and simplicity. Most people just want to skip to end-game, rather than enjoy the pleasure of the ride. Act 3 is one of my favorite acts, but everybody else seems to hate it. Just play the game for fun.

this game is most likely older than you thats why it doesnt have features. computers on the operating system before this games release ran on dos or off floppy disks. you had to run the files and apps using command promt. windows 98 came out and had a graphical user interface bus most games still ran off a floppy. cd games didnt utilize all of that space and most computers could barely run notepad. it was single core days. you couldnt multi task. gpu monitoring could make some peoples computer unable to play a game due to the performance hit. it was dark times my friend and thats half of the allure this masterpiece brings. it makes it harder. you had to remember things you invested into the game and it meant something to you. other than inventory size and inability to safely swap items between characters. it is a flawless masterpiece. and those flaws make you have friends you can trust. so you can transfer items so its kind of perfect making you have to multiplayer.
I’m new to Diablo, i played up to act 2 in a soft core Paladin Remade a necro in hardcore (first time playing necro) and damn it’s so fun. I’m playing so cautious, not looking up too much spoilers, only build ideas. Boy this shit feels like dark souls for the first time. very fun
never played darksouls, but i can imagine you feel like it. Walking in those Dark Cathacombs, not knowing where to go, what Devils to await behind the next door. D2 is great. PS: Light-radius is an undervalued bonus. xD
As a d2 veteran who hasn't played the game for almost 15 years, I pre-ordered the game right away and I payed 10 more bucks for the d3 just because I thought it was a good offer and because I wanted to warm up until resurrected comes up. I really enjoyed the d3 it was very fun game, it has that nice replayability loop feeling. But since I started the resurrection almost a week ago, I immediately got why d3 got such hate from d2 players. I don't hate d3 but those 2 games are incomparable. D2 it's the father and the pure raw cocaine of all rpg games, the fact that after 20 years has this huge community says it all and this community totally deserved this remaster This game is so brilliantly simple yet so brilliantly deep
I remember making my first spirit sword and insight for my merc and it was such an incredible feelig. I felt I achieved something great. That is what feels good in D2. The set when you prepare for your goal then the payof when you get a really powerful reward for your hard work.
Didn't really feel like that to me because my first spirit & insight were so easy to make (my first insight was a crappy polearm base of course) However I'm sure I'll feel that way when I finally get my inifinity xD if I ever will
So far mr. meph has blessed me with a shako and soj in d2r online in only about 20 hours of runs. The rush when i got them was better than remember back in the day.
i think they raised drops, they for sure kept 1.13 runes drop rates, they drop like crazy. i actually stopped play when they introduced respec ( i loved creating new HC chars and try all the wierds build knowing that other players wont even try coz they have guides and builds ) Was it 1.11 or 1.12 i dunno, but along with high rune drops and bots everywhere it was just a shade of what i liked.
2 shakos for me too, and some other intermediate trade runes. I don't think the drops have increased, I think people are playing like crack addicts and that makes us see more items on the market.
Bro I swear to god I love your voice ... it gives me ASMR and it hits like no other. Anyhow, thanks for the good idea of playing an audiobook in the background! :)
I started D2 when it came out, never quit. Atleast every 2 years i started a new char. Never found Zod or Tyraels might ever. I love this game still so much.
@Eviscerate nah. Dbrunski, btneanderthal, and dbrunski have like 3 Tyraels between them, dbrunski having 0. Llama also finished his grail without a zod dropping, but 3 chams did so he made one with 2 :P

Just wanted to say I've been keeping up with your content for the past few weeks & I love your opinions & explanations of things. Just a genuinely cool dude. Also, I played Path of Exile in the closed & open beta & came back to it on & off over the last few years - its of the same genre but a totally different game at this point. It has a lot of strong aspects & variance that is amazing... but Diablo 2 is just where it all began: the areas, the items, the classes, the dialogue, the characters, the story, the uniqueness & remembering the initial experience of it all just brings such nostalgia that it will always be number one. It had certain limitations which I would say in comparison PoE did better, but those limitations are what made D2, well, D2! Landmark game in not just the genre, but in gaming. I would say the original Halo trilogy, Starcraft, & Diablo 2, and WoW are what set the bar for the future of gaming. EDIT: I forgot to mention... & I feel like I've committed a SIN by forgetting: THE FREAKIN MUSIC MAN ! Literally the soundtrack of my childhood to say the very least.
@@fab2lats if you are doing chaos runs in hell mode (about 2 minutes each) it takes about 5000 runs, I think for most people farming pretty efficiently it will be about 300 hours of in game time
It's addicting to the same type of people who would find a slot machine addicting. The game is designed that way. Each run for an item is like a pull of the slot machine arm. Some people find that extremely addicting others not so much.
Just found a Ber rune off of eldritch the other day. First time in 20 years of playing that I’ve found this rune. It dropped so effortlessly off a random boss

I think one thing that you didn't mention directly but definitely alluded to is that there's always something to work towards. There's always a chase item or rune to work for and because of the drop tables that bosses have you can farm specific bosses for specific things. This makes it so you never feel like you're directionless or wasting your time.

I’ve been playing d2 since I was 15. I’m now 36 with a family and I still play. It never gets old. Truly the best Diablo, and possibly the best game ever made.
I finally started D2, got resurrection back when it first came out 2021. Tried it, didn’t stick with me, now it’s three years later and now I’m hooked finally. As someone who’s first arpg was Diablo 3, when I heard there’s no really a set endgame like d3 I thought that as a negative. D3 I think was a great streamlined introduction in the genre, because it makes you want something more complex (or deeper in terms of build customizations) and d2 hits that sweet spot for me. And the story is just, ugh awesome. 🙏😫
Holy Grail without PlugY... I can't imagine the amount of mules you would need. I currently have 5 Mules for Gems (T1-T5) - 6 Mules for Runes (T1-T6) one Mule for Essences/Keys. I think it comes down to the fact that you can combine different skills to make a completely new character as the root of it all. Not all games have this freedom anymore. Characters with one sole purpose to characters who can be just about anything at once has always been the foundation
Endless loot. Gothic and terrifying atmosphere. Crushing and brutal difficulty. Team building and cooperative experience. Grinding to the top by trading and searching for loot. This game is like a drug.
@@Moon_Presence yeah people have been loot whores in d2 since 2000, nothing new. just because people are selfish doesn't taint my experience of the game. in 2003 I was scammed/hacked in a trade (someone used a computer program that shut off my computer while I was trading and gave all my items to the scammer). This game is a true MASTERPIECE from a time games were 100% original (not the same stuff we see today in every game - moba - battle ground - mmorpg all of the same - shooter) I remember buying when it came out and it was such a wonderfull surprise that they manage to pick Diablo 1 and improve from a perspective that every fan wanted, they knew what the spirit of the game was and improved. Diablo II is a classic, and I played it when it first came out in 2000 before lod was even made. My first character was a cold sorc, and I just instantly fell in love with the game. Back then, there were no charms, no socketed items, no runes and gems, no ethereals, no Act V, and no druid & assassin classes. And it was still awesome. And then the LOD expansion pack turned a great game into a classic for the ages. I think the Diablo series was heavily influenced by two games - the arcade game Gauntlet and the desktop PC Ultima I - V series, both from the 1980s. I remember spending weekend nights at the mall putting endless quarters into Gauntlet to continue the game. It had a character class system that is an early predecessor of the Diablo classes. There were 4 classes - the valkyrie, the wizard, the warrior and the elf. The real-time (as opposed to turn-based) combat system was new to this genre of games, and a precursor to the Diablo combat mechanic. Then Ultima was the first epic, immersive fantasy RPG I had ever played. There was a vast world to explore, all kinds of quests and side quests and dungeons, towns and castles, shrines, wilderness areas, oceans, an underworld, as well as a sophisticated loot system for the 1980s. You could also buy and sell gear in towns and you needed to talk to npcs to complete quests and get certain items. In later versions, you formed a party with your main character as the party leader or avatar. The Diablo loot system and enormous, immersive world is a similar experience. It took months to complete Ultima V, but then Diablo II added the almost infinite replayability that Ultima lacked. A classic game that built on a foundation of earlier classics. A true inspiration for the next generation of devs.
i honestly hope they come out in a few months to a year and make a resurrected expansion. Stay to the same concept but give us another act, maybe add some missions to current acts, add some more secret levels and things to do.
For me,if they just add more character in this d2r its can be more interested hehe, dont need change story, mechanic, just add 2 or3 or more new classes base on all diablo series class character
For me thr main poimt in diablo is the ability to get items for other classes, i lost cout the amount of times I've started a NG because of a certain item i foind in my main run. Played this game in 2003 and 20 years later i still found my self getting back to D2R for the fun. One of the best generational games in history.
For me, it's about getting great gear without trading. I don't allow myself to buy/trade/sell anything. My alts can save something for another one, but I have to get every drop by myself.
Bought this game Friday and 3ver since I first played it I could not get this gane off my mind lol, definitely gonna be coming back to this game over the years.
One element that gets overlooked about why D2R is so good too is, alongside the depth of gear in the game, the game itself is still extremely hard even *with* higher end gear. This means reaching the stage where the game doesn’t have challenges actually takes a long time. If it were already easy to complete Hell runs with medium equipment, the search for even better equipment would fall off pretty quickly.
In an other hand, once you beat the game with low gear, It just makes the game easier. I love D1 and 3, but the replayability is a bit boring to me in D2 due to the stats/skills points locked, especially for characters using elemental spells with the immunes etc... Even if D3 has big issues, the leveling makes much more sense, because It's a preparation for the greater rifts, and the logic would be to reach the endgame with the best gear, but here, you need to clear the hardest content, to start getting the best gear... I can't see It differently than this sadly, even if there are a lot of challenges and infinite ways to play D2, which is definitly a great game, but I don't get addicted to It strangely.
@@Steevy84 and once you beat the hardest difficulty in lod there is little point other then grind to continue with that character d2 lod = need to clear hardest content, in order to find best gear to clear said same content a bit faster i usually beat hell then reroll new class or build
Finally someone understand my passion for Hardcore and collecting all sets and unique items! I wish only for ingame achievements to be absolutely perfect.
hardcore would be ok if the game auto-closed after losing connection to your client for x second for example 4 seconds. It is too often that you lose your characters and loot because your InternetServiceProvider decided to make some service work to his hardware right when you play
Once you've exhausted any fun and are ONLY staying to get all the items the game has basically turned into a gamble where the main currency is your time (the worst currency of all). Gambling against the RNG machine that gives you odds worse than setting yourself up to winning multiple global jackpots is crazy :-D
The true endgame is becoming the richest man on ladder. Either by becoming a professional merchant and learning how to trade up, or simply by needing to "make more room" in your inventory before you accept a trade. The good ole switcheroo. Tyrael's Might suddenly becomes Milabrega's Robe.
Two more categories: - Challenges (no items, weird builds, no town, etc.) - modding (perfect for someone who loves more challenges) That's what i enjoy :)
What did games look like 15 years ago? You look back to 2006, we have Oblivion, Splinter cell double agent, LoZ - Twilight Princess... Need for speed Carbon. It seems like we have only really had a graphical leap and standardized control schemes. I am thankful for that. 15 years before Diablo 2 came out there was Super Mario Brothers. Think about how much ground got covered in such a short time. That was an impressive 15 years, and being able to forge a game like this , and make it SO GOOD... It was unheard of. Blizzard North was basically the pioneers that changed the gaming world forever.
Dude you're cranking out these videos like a madman, and your channel is skyrocketing! Nice! I cant wait to get my hands on this game, your videos make it look so fun (Also hi, long time no chat! Work's been crazy and I'm not online much, too tired. 😭 Hope you're doing good lately!)
my personal Goal is to achieve Hell Baal kills on every class on Hardcore, and with a little bonus: Not fo farm endlessly with one char to gear up the other classes. A handy item here and there is nice to have, but putting on the same sprit gear 4 each and every charater is less fun, than running countress with a fresh Hero 4 the runes, or Crafting your 1st Caster Ammu/bloodring after a new start.
Oh man , i agree totally that you can play diablo and have a completly different thing playing on the background , an audiobook, music, a long youtube video, etc. And still pay attention to both the game an anything else you want.
Well after 1000 runs if you don't get anything it also gets very boring. I am ok with a certain degree of rarity, but to spend years playing and hoping you will get a specific drop ... nope not for me.
Besides graphics I don't personally really see what this game would offer for me that Grim Dawn already doesn't, at least thats what I was thinking when watching your video. Also when some day I'm through with the original GD content (its gonna take some long ass time tho) I can just download D2 mod for it instead of giving my money for a shitty company. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating here. I can appreciate the legacy and impact D2 has had in the ARPG genre. Maybe if the game goes on sale for like 10 euros later down the line (yes, I know its gonna take a long time) I might give it a try just to see where it all started, but thats pretty much it.
If I was to choose from that list, it would have to be the item drops. They literally made it so hard (grind) to get a drop that once you get it, you feel so dang accomplished.
The finding aspect is present in d3 and poe too. In d2, after beating ubers, the loot loses meaning to me because why wouls i need anything if i've already cleared hardest stuff? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love d2, but my mind just reguires something to test the gear to. For example greater rifts in d3 (paragon ruins it tho) or atlas in poe.
The difference being d3 and PoE just aren't fun to play. I don't really care for what people consider "end game" in most games like maps or dungeons, you start to see most people don't even really play them after doing them 5 times. By then you've experienced everything and you just end up skipping the fights and speed run right to the end so you can get the loot. With d2 you always have to play, there's no skipping the gameplay to get to the end.
@@warehawk "The difference being d3 and PoE just aren't fun to play." Hey cool opinion. Can't really skip any fights in D3 because slaying stuff is required to spawn the rift guardian. All that you said implies that you really haven't played much those games, so pointless to argue with you.
Diablo 2 nails one concept, one mechanic, one 'thing' really, really well... The addiction that slot machines create. The simplicity that is slot machines: there's not a whole lot to learn, it's not overly complicated, there's a few symbols and a few sounds, and this very repetitive interaction with feeding in coins and pulling a lever. But that formula is addictive. Sure the payoff is there, but the motion, those sounds, the spinning prize wheels; there's this siren song that all of that creates over time. You want to pull that lever. Diablo doesn't go to the deepest depths like say, PoE. And I'm not knocking that game; I'm saying it's one of many that comes so close to the magic formula, but just misses. Just. Diablo hits this perfect ratio of player input (Click, click, clickety-click ) audio/visual cues, and rewards. Add in the lure of a potential jackpot on a given pull of the lever, or mouse as it were, and you have the recipe for capturing years of people's lives in front of your product.
Be finished hell with my Summonancer but have been grinding for Keys for Pando event. Yet nothing drops. Is there anything in particular I need to do on Xbox to get these keys? I need my torch.
Reading single player hc /players 8 walkthroughs on d2jsp is a guilty pleasure of mine. Doing several thousands of LK runs for high runes is what is keeping me from doing it myself.
My mf Blizz sorc is fully setup for the most part, and I'm just a couple of items away from having my uber smiter at a comfortable spot. After that, I'm all setup to keep on farming to build my pvp characters up. Tired of seeing comments from people who do 10 Meph runs and ask why their rng is so bad or "what's the point of playing theres nothing to do now"
I never was able to get too deep into d2. I've played it since it came out...on and off. But I do hope they add more content. D2r is a chance for having way more content added in dlc form. It would be cool to have act 6/a new area, and have an arena to duel and bet items.
You will find all kinds of cool things on runs that might not be great for that build but because you have a shared stash. You can use that in new builds so your always want to try new gear and load outs to see what you can do with them
Love how casters feel so strong , then you meet immunes in hell , then your off making a paladin lol Was leveling a trapsin , didn't realize I wouldn't be able to solo anything in hell bc I rely on lighting soooo much. And nobody want to group through hell , if they CAN beat it , they want your runes from the forge or they won't help you. So now I'm making a hammerdin so I don't hit a wall.
You can farm cowlevel in hell! With death sentry you only need to kill 1 or 2 cows and the sheer cow density will do the rest! And with fireblast you can also eliminate the most lightning immune / magic resist champions
Of course it's Replayable I cant recall how Many times I've Died when Encountering Mini Bosses with Lightning Enchantment, Those little Fetish Asshol_s with Daggers, monsters Casting Jet fire, And DIABLO Goodness that Boss Battle took me a lot of tries and Respawns to Kick his As_ while Dying so many times, sometimes I forget to Refill my Town portal scrolls before facing him so I need to go Back from the Nearest Checkpoint.
Something very important is that you can find the best items anywhere. And I MEAN ANYWHERE!! I have gotten the best set items in just a barrel or a jug. Check EVERYTHING!!!

That's so true. With limited storage space, who has room to hold on to every unique?
@@Andrew-zq3ip just wait a year there will be ways....
I like that they don’t have a checklist. It makes finding these items feel more important when you check things off on your own list.
@@Andrew-zq3ip Besides, most uniques are not worth using anyways, so keeping them is pretty pointless. At least with the said limited stash space of D2R.
this game is most likely older than you thats why it doesnt have features.
computers on the operating system before this games release ran on dos or off floppy disks.
you had to run the files and apps using command promt.
windows 98 came out and had a graphical user interface bus most games still ran off a floppy. cd games didnt utilize all of that space and most computers could barely run notepad. it was single core days. you couldnt multi task. gpu monitoring could make some peoples computer unable to play a game due to the performance hit.
it was dark times my friend and thats half of the allure this masterpiece brings. it makes it harder. you had to remember things you invested into the game and it meant something to you. other than inventory size and inability to safely swap items between characters. it is a flawless masterpiece. and those flaws make you have friends you can trust. so you can transfer items so its kind of perfect making you have to multiplayer.
I’m new to Diablo, i played up to act 2 in a soft core Paladin
Remade a necro in hardcore (first time playing necro) and damn it’s so fun.
I’m playing so cautious, not looking up too much spoilers, only build ideas. Boy this shit feels like dark souls for the first time.
very fun
Nice man! What an incredible experience! I'm actually pretty jealous lol Necro was my first softcore character. That sounds like a great time!

If you want a more "Modern" ARPG that sticks to the roots of the genre, I'd reccomended Path of Exile over Diablo 3. It's like D2's long lost Grandson
@@blahblah3775 I heard of it but never gave it a try. I will check it, thanks
I remember making my first spirit sword and insight for my merc and it was such an incredible feelig. I felt I achieved something great. That is what feels good in D2. The set when you prepare for your goal then the payof when you get a really powerful reward for your hard work.
Nice. I have a Spirit sword and shield on my lightning sorc and an Insight on her merc. Hardest part was finding that 4 socket shield.
Didn't really feel like that to me because my first spirit & insight were so easy to make (my first insight was a crappy polearm base of course)
However I'm sure I'll feel that way when I finally get my inifinity xD if I ever will

So far mr. meph has blessed me with a shako and soj in d2r online in only about 20 hours of runs. The rush when i got them was better than remember back in the day.
i think they raised drops, they for sure kept 1.13 runes drop rates, they drop like crazy. i actually stopped play when they introduced respec ( i loved creating new HC chars and try all the wierds build knowing that other players wont even try coz they have guides and builds ) Was it 1.11 or 1.12 i dunno, but along with high rune drops and bots everywhere it was just a shade of what i liked.
ive found 2 shako and 6 ist so far :) enjoying it so much
On nightmare or hell!? Congtats

Tyrael’s might isn’t good anyways, so no problem there. Hahha
I played from patch 1.09 in 2002 till 1.11, no rune above Vex ever dropped for me.
Played 1.13 for a week and got a Sur.

Same. Found a few Los and Jahs. A ber or two. Never a zod
Did find a perfect Maras once. Still remember it
Og game didn't have runes i thought. Why I bought expansion i was playing classic countess farming wondering why she dropped nothing lol. Got me levels tho
The most I’ve spent playing a game is 3k hours. I never thought a game would top that but D2 now has potential
I spent almost 6k hours on one class alone in D3, I made in to Number 22 of Season 1 of D3 with it. My fav class in D2 was the Necromancer. Can you guess what my favorite class was in D3? No it wasn't Necro, but close enough. It was the Witch Doctor, which was close enough to Necro. -Xer06siX
@@jasonwilde197 I’m still enjoying D2. It’s so different than d3, but I love both. D3 gives me that constant dopamine drop. D2 will make me feel starved then when that one special loot drops it has much more meaning
You really are 100% right about there not being a game that hits every bar the way D2 does. The success of D2R proves it even more.
I played for D2 for 7 years and only found out 2 weeks ago that walking increases block chance. Little things like that is what i love.
Your defense also drops to "-- " while running. Open your character stats screen while you run and watch it.
Armours have different weight , the heavy ones makes you run slower same with shields
simply getting to 99 on a single character is a large time investment
Try level 99 with a hardcore version of the character. The list just goes on...
Level 99 SC and 99 HC are playstion trophies, that platinum will probably be the rarest ps trophy ever
I heard that leveling 98-99 takes more time than 1-98

It's addicting to the same type of people who would find a slot machine addicting. The game is designed that way. Each run for an item is like a pull of the slot machine arm. Some people find that extremely addicting others not so much.
But with time instead of money..
Just found a Ber rune off of eldritch the other day. First time in 20 years of playing that I’ve found this rune. It dropped so effortlessly off a random boss
I remember getting bored and trying to make the lowest lvl to kill high lvls its so satisfying when you able to kill lvl 60s plus with lvl 15 or some cases even lvl9 but its really challenging
I think one thing that you didn't mention directly but definitely alluded to is that there's always something to work towards. There's always a chase item or rune to work for and because of the drop tables that bosses have you can farm specific bosses for specific things. This makes it so you never feel like you're directionless or wasting your time.
lol kiling for mephisto and andariel for 4 hours hoping to get an soj or arachnid mesh or anything good and end up not getting anything good is not fun.. wake up dude
I started this game 3 months ago for the first time... wow, what a journey and I promised myself that if I ever get a zod rune I'm going to get it tattooed
One for Jewels and one for Rare Uniques. But having mules for ALL Uniques in all Forms (Eth/ Non-Eth) I would have around 100 Characters to manage... ouch.
First of all you don’t need to keep all the items. And secondly, 6 mules for runes? What lmao. You need 1-2 tabs AT MOST if you like to hoard runes.
Plugy for the win!
Why even pick up the low runes at that point? Just keep a couple in case you need it and dump the rest.
@Key K Right... and for all that muling work/combining you can just trade for a couple of those set of runes with 1 mid rune. Save your sanity
@Key K Ahhh I see you've just started. Then by all means pick up the low runes. The above poster says he has 6 mules just for runes... which is LOL... Pick up what you need. Don't waste time that you could be farming organizing your stash. It's all about using your time effectively. Are you going to pick up every single sigon piece just because someone might trade a couple Pgems for it? No it's a waste of time
I love the flexibility this game allows in designing & playing theme characters... :)
You should check out D3. Every class has even more variety with builds and playstyles.
This video feels like a sales pitch for a used car. Lmfao, "the feeling of finding a powerful item." None of the items you can find are powerful. It's all runewords homie. Let me tell you how annoying it is to find something as rare as a grandfather or windforce to know that it's trash and you'll never use it.
You are the Bob Ross of Diablo....thank you for this!!! Love the video and totally agree! I bought this on PS5 and haven't played it too much. Thinking of getting it on my Switch. I feel I would love to play this handheld for sure.
This current ladder season I found a Lo rune with my hork barb in about 50 runs. It was amazing. I also rolled a perfect oath when I started doing trav runs
People doing Hardcore PvP and doing High Level PvP have my respect.
I am way too attached to my char and the time I spent to get this far ... especially with limited playtims ... adulthood sucks man ... now I am depressed :( Time to farm some good gear to cheer me up again, hope Diablo is gracious this time *fingers crossed*
So are there any dungeons to explore once you've beat the story? Like what is there after?
I got an audible ad after the video, time to get them as an official sponsor 😂
I think it comes down to the fact that you can combine different skills to make a completely new character as the root of it all. Not all games have this freedom anymore.
Characters with one sole purpose to characters who can be just about anything at once has always been the foundation
Endless loot. Gothic and terrifying atmosphere. Crushing and brutal difficulty. Team building and cooperative experience. Grinding to the top by trading and searching for loot. This game is like a drug.
Trading? People are loot whores in this game, good luck getting loot while playing with people who arent your friends
For your 4th point of it's relaxing. I've fallen asleep multiple times playing Diablo 2 and 3
Diablo II is a classic, and I played it when it first came out in 2000 before lod was even made.
Lol that is d4 for bliz...they arnt going to support this to that extent.... they want you to buy their pay to win games asap
My alts can save something for another one, but I have to get every drop by myself.
i quit playing D2 about 13 years ago. a few months ago i found my save games from when i quit and was able to start back where i stopped

Bought this game Friday and 3ver since I first played it I could not get this gane off my mind lol, definitely gonna be coming back to this game over the years.
Welcome to the cult LOL.
This video is relaxing in and of itself...
@@Steevy84 and once you beat the hardest difficulty in lod there is little point other then grind to continue with that character

They added them on console
hardcore would be ok if the game auto-closed after losing connection to your client for x second for example 4 seconds. It is too often that you lose your characters and loot because your InternetServiceProvider decided to make some service work to his hardware right when you play
I've done the holy grail. One of my last items(griffins) I found in a bone pile. In chaos...... yeah
How can you be so rich when there is a limited amount stash🤔🤔

i'm on my way on the Holy Grail!! I will get there this time I swear it. I gave up years ago before resurrected brought back the nostalgia.
A lot of people say there is no endgame to Diablo and this video is a perfect response to that

For me D2 (and now D2R) is für perfect game, I would take with me on a desert island. I played it a lot, and now I'm hooked again!
my personal Goal is to achieve Hell Baal kills on every class on Hardcore, and with a little bonus:
Not fo farm endlessly with one char to gear up the other classes.
I really like your new content (vs the "where to get a shako" vids) for D2R. Really quality stuff, subscribed now, keep it up!
The semi random map also make the game less repetitive while still allowing you to increase your speed by learning some patterns.
Well after 1000 runs if you don't get anything it also gets very boring. I am ok with a certain degree of rarity, but to spend years playing and hoping you will get a specific drop ... nope not for me.
I had to subscribe. You're really good!
Great videos man. Love the soothing voice and hope you keep making more content.
Very good suggestion about the audiobook! Gonna try it
nice review! thanks for reminding me why I loved this game so much in my youth!
Must have been talking about Destiny with the endgame boredom.
Thanks for all the guides!
Sooo true. I bought Diablo 2 pretty much at release back in 2000. 20 years later it's still one of the best games ever created.
Just.
Diablo hits this perfect ratio of player input
(Click, click, clickety-click ) audio/visual cues, and rewards.
You can use that in new builds so your always want to try new gear and load outs to see what you can do with them
The main reason it's replayable for me is the random layout of the world Everytime you play. Each game is a complete new experience.
Its just randomly generated levels lol it’s literally the same thing
Didn't Mrllama complete the holy grail like a month or so ago?
#4 is why i like runescape and this game + endless impactful milestones that you grind for.
Love how casters feel so strong , then you meet immunes in hell , then your off making a paladin lol
Was leveling a trapsin , didn't realize I wouldn't be able to solo anything in hell bc I rely on lighting soooo much.
Just mind blast the mobs to fight themselves, add a death sentry and Voila!
Yes thanks for the work around , a bit slow but it works.
Yeah cows would work but I would have to beat Baal first
