I’ve recently been on a Spyro craze again recently! Legend trilogy and all! I love this series no matter what.
It always sucks being a legends trilogy fan. I know the gameplay in the first game is terrible but I really enjoy (some of) eteneral night and Dawn of thr Dragon genuinely would be awesome to get in a fully realized take on the chsrecter using what did and didn't work with the amazing visuals that game has still standing out nearly 20 years later. I know they aren't as good as the original trilogy but I still love them

Probably the coolest glitch I ran into a complete accident was in that first world you can unlock Bentley. I believe it’s Japan themed with pandas? There is a waterfall in that stage that drops you off the map. One time I got to the edge of the waterfall and freaked out and press the dive button, if you dive at the edge of the waterfall, it flips the world and becomes a Water world. As in now, you can just swim everywhere throughout the level. Talk about a Super insane super cool glitch.
Growing up I adored and constantly played the OG trilogy. ETD came out, got excited for Spyro on a new console, and was immediately let down but still played it because Spyro. Heroes Tail released and I loved it to death. Definitely a completely different game but I like it to this day, just not as high as the OG 3. Now where things get really weird is how much I absolutely adore everything about the Legend trilogy. Still prefer the OG, but I love the reboot to death. I thought every one did until recently when I was feeling nostalgic and looked into them. But Reignited is the best thing ever.

Honestly, even if Spyro Enter the Dragonfly wasn't rushed, it probably wasn't gonna be a good game. Apparently there was a lot of backdoor drama, including somebody getting a chair thrown at him, people going without food for days on end because they weren't being paid, assets being sent over from a secondary studio that were absolutely massive file sizes nobody could get to load correctly, and a story about an executive divorcing her husband by stranding him in Taiwan.

The reward for collecting eggs and gems is opening up the special stages at the end. How do you not know this?

As for the game feeling like busywork, what I always loved about the game was that it was easy, not super easy, just enough to be comfortable. They compensate for this by making the game very long, lots of world content.
It's the opposite of battletoads, which is very short but so difficult it's silly.

Dawn of the Dragon is still a great game lol
I mean it has its rough moments but it's still very fun to play with yoyr brother n shit and I loved seeing spyro finally being able to fly he's a big boy now

I don't really understand why people keeps saying Spyro reignited trilogy is a remaster of the 3 games. I'm just gonna say this, I don't give a f what anyone says. Spyro reignited trilogy is more on the remake side. I even looked it up on Google at some point, and on Google it says Spyro reignited trilogy is a remake. And a few sources like Wiki and Reddit says the same thing, It's a remake. People should know the difference between remake and remaster. A remaster is using the original sorce material and making its visuals better. The Spyro remakes isn't using the original source material. People can be ignorant and argue about it all they want, but Case closed.
Because believe it or not, remakes and remasters are entirely different than what you think, the upcoming dead rising, spyro reignited, crash n sane trilogy, are literally copy and paste, if the gameplay is the same as the original with better visuals, it falls in line as a remaster title, even capcom named it as dead rising deluxe remaster when it doesn't use the same engine or assets yet they're trying to make it look as close as they original using the RE engine with improvements.Remakes is something more like recent resident evil 2, 3 and 4. Most of the story is either the same or changed slightly and the gameplay has changed from the original
@@SnuSu So. doesn't really mean anything to me. There's remakes out there that has the same gameplay as the original. I'm still standing my ground on the Spyro reignited trilogy more on the remake side. I believe Google and Wikipedia and reddit more than others about it.
@user-John1 then I guess it means nothing to you, the people who developed who made and put plenty of care into the game while having insights from naughty dog and insomniac say otherwise lol
@@SnuSu Dude, Naughty dog was never a part of Spyro, they have nothing to do with any Spyro games. Insomniac may have been a part of Spyro a couple decades ago, but not anymore in 2024. Insomniac now owns IPs with Sony. Insomniac isn't in charge of doing Spyro anymore. You're smoking something if you believe Insomniac is still involved with Spyro lol. Activision is involved now, toys for Bob as well. Insomniac only cares about developing games for Sony now.
@user-John1 check the credits for spyro reignited, insomniac is mentioned, naughty is mentioned as well for crash team racing. I never said naughty dog was involved in spyro, but for n sane trilogy, they had insights. Both titles still fall under remasters by anyone including developers themselves, vicarious calls n sane a remaster plus ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
