About the mechanicis : One detail that tend to be brushed under the rug by universes of fictions when it comes to cyber implant is very well explained in ghost in the shell. There is a massive gap between someone who is simply augmented (ie just a mechanical arm) and a full on cyborg. That's simply because, if you try to lift something that wieght, let's say 5t, if you're an augmented, your arms mught lift it, but the pressure excerted will also end up in your spine, your leg etc... And unless your implant is limited by your muscle mass, you won't be able to lift it without your aug' severing herserlf from your body. There is no such problem when your are a full on cyborg, the only thing you have to mind is your acceleration, to much Gs will smash your brain. So yeah, when 40k says that Cawl decapsulate chaos marine like a bunch of lemonades on a hot summer, I believe them.
You're mostly right. If you are using something that everts an inverse gravity effect on what you are attempting to lift, you circumvent the normal limitations to the rest of your biology. When it comes to the brain WH40K seems to be a bit hand wavey here, but I'd assume it's a combination of genetically enhanced organs for durability and some kind of inertial dampener to reduce organ strain.
From all the lore we have, the sisters of silence are nominally baseline human. Their power seems to come from their null field. The most powerful of them have been said to be basically invisible to most people. At lion's gate Kharn killed one of them without noticing and was extremely confused when his kill counter ticked up and he couldn't recall killing someone. Also besides Eisenhorn's plot armor, he also has a sentient sword.
And it’s not like base humans with the best gear the imperium can offer being a match for astartes is that far fetched. Cain fought Khornite berserkers in melee and held is own, Yarrick killed an ork warboss, that one Sororitas Saint allegedly fought a Custodian to a standstill for 1 hour (the Custodian probably wasn’t going for the kill but still) and old man Creed clashed swords with Abbadon himself. SoS have basically the same amount of training as these people but with even better gear.
I see the super speed and techniques of the Sisters of Silence as being a by product of the wrongness of their untouchable nature, people and reality buckles under their wrongness, making them "faster", "Stronger", etc. while not being it really. For Eisenhorn, he has lots of magics, rituals and spells on him at that point. If he can control a daemonhost of the power of Cherubael with a thought, he is probably able to subconsciously reinforce himself in ways that aren't even understandable to an observer.

Space Marines fill the role of the budget model superhumans of 40k. They're great value for time and resource investment, meant to provide coverage so that the more expensive elites can be deployed where needed. It's an important role, but they are essentially the superhuman PDF.
Man I was listening to this as I was falling asleep. Then the mechanics came on. I shot up in fear so fast I passed out from lack of blood to the brain. Jesus man don't scare me like that
The Black Market is interesting. Because that's where the surviving Thunder Warriors bought their updates and enhancements from. Also rejuvenating treatments and surgeries to keep themselves alive. Which means, that with plenty of money, very serious upgrades can be bought in some Black Markets. Terra's probably being bigger than the rest. Very serious upgrades must be available to be able to purchase a fix for the side effects of being a Thunder Marine.
Always wanted someone to do an indepth video on the other human super soldiers in 40k.. surprised that humanity during the dark age of technology didn't have super soldiers that are still roaming around somewhere
@oppai-sama they are technically space marines...... but only technically. They are better in literally every way so you cant put them and regular marines in the same class. They're just too powerful. Regular marines are useless next to them
There's not a lot of lore on the mechanicus militarily outside of titans but my understanding is that tech priests who chose to focus on military endeavors and some small amount of skiitari bodyguards are upgraded to the point they can take on an astartes
this reminds me of the primaris outrage. One of the acusations was "how would a mere mortal improve on something even emperor couldn't?" Apparently Astartes aren't all that special.
I had Gunnar glasses for a while - professional game dev. It made an obvious difference, but adjusting my monitor color settings to be more neutral did about the same.
At the very least an honorary mention of the Charonites; augmented Ogryns that in the Heresy were capable of: "tipping the balance of forces in favour of the Loyalists until Warmaster Horus Lupercal himself had to intervene to stem the tide."
I know there is some disconnect but the Sisters of Silence do have their fortresses on Luna. And who owned those fortresses before the emperor took them? The gene cults of Luna - I wouldn't be surprised of their original blankness came from those girls.
for the exact same resons as a tech priest, i would say skitarii, even though they are weaker then many tech priests, they have the numbers on top of that, and are specialised to there perticular form of warfair, and they are far more easily repaired/replaced then a tech priest, i just fuckin love the skitarii in general
Not sure why human psykers weren't covered, plenty of Inquisitors aren't psykers so they don't totally encapsulate them. Regardless, Psykers, especially Primaris psykers, can easily dunk on an average Astartes or group of Astartes, on tabletop and in lore. Not necessarily in some kind of open ground arena esque combat scenario, but in pretty much all other their encounters where the psyker has an entourage and or cover, they present a huge threat. But then, the million flavors of Chaos Witches, Navigators, Astropaths, Primaris, Wyrdvane, Sorcerers, Demon callers ect, would have to be a video of their own.
Thunder Warrior's gene therapy are like skin-lightening that utilizes mercury: in terms of "cheapest treatments are deadliest ones" Geneforge, augmentics, and psychic powers are ways 40k humans doesn't need to be astartes to be superhuman

ah good u mentioned the Thunder Warriors!! Now, do a video on if Guts from Berserk can beat a Space Marine and have it animated!!!!!!!!!
I know I’m late to this, but after that laser vision mechanicus comment I wanna see the Mechanicus try to make their own version of Superman (super tough, super hearing, cal fly, super strong, eye lasers, etc.)
One of the reasons so many Perpetuals were hunted was because Perpetuals mess with fate and that hurt the Eldar's ability to predict things... which is ironic because fighting fate hurts Tzeentch and thus would help the Eldar.
Not really they didn't change anything besides for me perpetuals are not cannon
@@whiteeye3453 Eldrad had a bunch of them killed because he could not as clearly predict the future with them around. Their mere existence put fate into flux.
@@asaenvolk no their existence put imperium to state as it is now
and their solution was to kill all life in galaxy
yeach that is great plan
Keep it up Majorkill!
Love the mechanicus voice change! That was a really nice touch.
Alright. I’ve been watching long enough and I’m comfortable enough with my manhood to say that the glasses are a complete game changer on you bro. Idk if it’s because of how you did your hair or what but you’re looking immaculate in this ad.
10:54 Ollannius Pius protecting Big E from Horus during the final showdown of the Horus Heresy.
*nodding off watching this video
!!!THE FLESH IS WEAK!!!
*Heart palpitations noises 😵
Space Marines fill the role of the budget model superhumans of 40k. They're great value for time and resource investment, meant to provide coverage so that the more expensive elites can be deployed where needed.
It's an important role, but they are essentially the superhuman PDF.
Man I was listening to this as I was falling asleep. Then the mechanics came on. I shot up in fear so fast I passed out from lack of blood to the brain. Jesus man don't scare me like that
Great Result
Lore: X can stand up to a Space Marine and win.
Game: Strength 4 Toughness 4, can straight up die from a misplaced rock.
Very serious upgrades must be available to be able to purchase a fix for the side effects of being a Thunder Marine.
just like the clone troopers
@@joshuagraham2843 Like the SW ones? Expanded?
Always wanted someone to do an indepth video on the other human super soldiers in 40k.. surprised that humanity during the dark age of technology didn't have super soldiers that are still roaming around somewhere
There are likely some but whatever is left is like the last men of iron in that they are very difficult to be found on purpose.
Duuude, you’ve gotten so much better at painting!
7:38 next time WARN A BROTHER
CANT BELIEVE U DIDNT MENTION PRIMARIS WTF!!! THEYRE SO GRIMDARK AND COOL
@oppai-sama they're better & closer to primarchs than SM... Not even sure why SM are still around when primaris are better in every way
@oppai-sama they are better in every way and closer to primarchs than SM, it says so in the lore, can't remember where tho
@oppai-sama they are technically space marines...... but only technically. They are better in literally every way so you cant put them and regular marines in the same class. They're just too powerful. Regular marines are useless next to them
Screw what people say, this channel is one of my top favorite 40k lore channels.
Did not expect to laugh this much from an "informational" video lmao. Liked and subscribed 😎
"Would happily jump feet first into hell"
Yeah because they'd kill everything within an hour and still be back for Kittens daily pizza.
I mean when you think about it all abhumans, mutant and individuals who been blessed by chaos are in a way super-soldiers
Hey my fav 40k aussie! could you please do a video on the insanity which is each of the assassin guilds?
Heresey that I didn't get the notification for this video! The dark gods cloud my connection to the loremaster!
“The Flesh is weak, all hail the omnissiah” needs to be a text tone!
Every video, majorkill covers more and more of his face during the “let’s get into it”
There's not a lot of lore on the mechanicus militarily outside of titans but my understanding is that tech priests who chose to focus on military endeavors and some small amount of skiitari bodyguards are upgraded to the point they can take on an astartes
Miss this dude
7:45 Tech priest"where are the toasters we were promised"? Me"quiet you"
this reminds me of the primaris outrage.
One of the acusations was "how would a mere mortal improve on something even emperor couldn't?"
Apparently Astartes aren't all that special.
Nice effect in the voice when you talked about the tech priest
Could you make a video going over the other factions equivalent to space marines?
saying the custodies could rival the astartes should be considered an insult.
I had Gunnar glasses for a while - professional game dev. It made an obvious difference, but adjusting my monitor color settings to be more neutral did about the same.
"DNA ALTERED ON THE MOLECULAR LEVEL" wait so just the dna?
My eyesight got messed up from blue light and now I need prism glasses so I recommend this sponsor
Non chaos based warp entities and magic would be cool.
Last week, my death Corp marshal damn near beat a fist captain to death in melee.
The cinematics for that would have been chilling
@@jcloudy8508 it was a crusade game, so with relics the marshal was strength 6 and had a 5+ FNP
@@celtichistory drooling
The Flesh is Indeed Weak, that tech priest nearly gave me a heart attack!
Those synthesized tech priest voices were pretty dope!
maybe also Skitarii Praetorian
The short audio drama where an eversor assasin gets wrecked by Seth is so good.
Eversor: When your wanna speed run through everybody else’s life as fast as you can. The only guy who thinks his health bar is linked to an egg timer.
There are more plastic toys of space marines than in the lore
Thankyou for not claiming that blue light damages your eyes. 10/10 honest advertising.
'Monkeys Titload'....wow, what a great catchphrase hahahahaha
Bro I would have put the Ogrin on this list because they are hilarious LOL.
At the very least an honorary mention of the Charonites; augmented Ogryns that in the Heresy were capable of: "tipping the balance of forces in favour of the Loyalists until Warmaster Horus Lupercal himself had to intervene to stem the tide."
"What can I say watch time makes me moist" 😆😆
Though you were going to mention Fabius Bile's "new men".
It would definitely be interesting to go over if you haven't yet.
A Space Marine attempting to delete a superhuman blank?
Jurgen: *takes aim with his melta, as phlegmaticly as he does everything else*
Eversors eat any type of infantry except custodes for breakfast.
Mint. Another great one
I know there is some disconnect but the Sisters of Silence do have their fortresses on Luna.
And who owned those fortresses before the emperor took them? The gene cults of Luna - I wouldn't be surprised of their original blankness came from those girls.
2:13 cross your eyes and the custodes' helmet looks like a furby
for the exact same resons as a tech priest, i would say skitarii, even though they are weaker then many tech priests, they have the numbers on top of that, and are specialised to there perticular form of warfair, and they are far more easily repaired/replaced then a tech priest, i just fuckin love the skitarii in general
You'd think Lotara could 1v1 a primarch with the way she sass'd one
Perfect video length for watching one or two while dropping the kids off at the pool
That vocal transition scared the shit outta me
Not sure why human psykers weren't covered, plenty of Inquisitors aren't psykers so they don't totally encapsulate them.
Getting those glasses, late, but getting em.
Thunder Warrior's gene therapy are like skin-lightening that utilizes mercury: in terms of "cheapest treatments are deadliest ones"
Geneforge, augmentics, and psychic powers are ways 40k humans doesn't need to be astartes to be superhuman
Now i want to see the same video but with eldar.
