I think for the Devastation of Baal, the Leviathan Hivemind was actually holding a grudge against Blood Angels. I seem to remember a small passage in the book in which its intentions are vaguely described: it attacks Baal out of malevolence and hatred, because a precedent encounter with Blood Angels ended badly for them. The perception of 40K changes drastically once you realize the universe doesn't revolve around the Emperor, Chaos or the Warp; but around Yarrick's balls.
Just an additional Cain detail on how much he was willing to let the Tau just... roll over and die, himself and the inquisitor he was with were perfectly fine with allowing Tau survivors who were very likely to have been corrupted by a genestealer to return to their worlds and cause who knows what kind of damage to them
🎉🎉🎉 Since you made Seth‘s video about warp entities that aren’t aligned with chaos. I’d like to propose a video idea of my own. About what remains of and references to ‘our’ era and earlier things from earth in the time of 40K. That’s something I’ve been interested in for a long time. PS: Majorkill please tell me if you see this comment. So I know the idea is in your head.
To me the Tyranids wanted Baal for one reason. The grave/remains of Sanguinius. While having access to geneseed, they never truly got their hands on the full deal that makes a Primarch, even the weaker ones compared to their brothers, so OP. Just imagine a Primarch tier Tyranid, as we all know the Swarmlord doesn't live up to the hype. It may be what's in store for the future, although who's biomass would create them I got no idea. Maybe Fabius' clones will be what does it if they don't want any more loyalists to die, and the chaos Primarchs aren't exactly idea due to being horrendously mutated from what they once were.
You forgot, that even the Drukarii respected Cain. So much so that he was considered such a prize for them, that even a Tyranid invasion was seen as secondary. Not exactly diplomatic, but there was a very brief ceasefire between Cain and an Eldar Succubus.
I love the character of ravenor and his disability is clearly a major defining feature of who he is as a character, but I do sometimes wish we could have gotten a bigger glimpse into who he had the potential to be had that massive attack to free those psykers not happened or he had been saved from it. We catch glimpses before it happens of how freakishly stealthy and agile he is to the point where it almost scares Eisenhorn to recognize the potential ravenor had. And of course he may not have become the God tier psyker he became had he not become a prisoner in his own body, but I'm deeply interested to know what the ravenor we could have had combined with the mind of the ravenor we do have would combine to make. And maybe I haven't read far enough into those books yet to know there's an answer to it, but it's something I've been curious about since ravenor started showing up
i may be new to the crusade but I will keep going Video idea: How would each Primarch react and rule the imperium, if they were the one to return first instead of Guilliman
Could you do a video on battles where the tau and another empire fought together and what eachothers opinion was on the others battle tactics, tech, etc Or go more in depth on the croot? Famous battles they won? Famous characters? Special abilities? What would happen if a croot ate a tyranid? Etc
You forgot Inquisitor Czevak. Who the Eldar not only allowed to visit the black library but allowed him to live there and stopped (maybe even reversed) his aging process.
I would love to see a 40k story where 2 completely new super advanced xenos species are in a war that’s been going on longer than memory. The imperium think, “man, we should just body them all and take their stuff.” Then they see another species like the Tyranids or Orks try to interfere and just get incinerated. And then the imperials decide “nah, that isn’t worth it.”
Plot twist, that was the Republic of Skaven, and they are loyalists to The Imperium. Hail The Emperor of Mankind! The object of adoration for The Republic Of Skaven.
I still think it's funny how in that one TTS short the Imperium agrees to team up with Chaos once a year to viciously brutalize Xenos, and yet nowadays in the canon the Imperium's shown a greater willingness to ally with Xenos against Chaos. Aside from some crazy-ass Inquisitors that think it's a good idea to try to use daemons, is there any case of Imperium forces working with Chaos against even temporary obstacles?
Baal was attacked by Tyranids because of the preserved body of Sanguinius. Like imagine any Tyranid takes a bite out of it, would probably OD on evolution.
I absolutley love it when two enemies respect each other in the 40k setting. As a certain Ork once said "good enemies are hard to find" well....not exactly that but you get the idea!

I think that, with my little knowledge of the lore, that the tyranids attacked Baal because they know that at some point they have to start hitting and eliminating the big guys aka the space marines, so they consumed enough biomass to make leviathan an even greater force so they could attack difficult targets like baal. Hell, baal was saved because, in a way, it was defended by all the blood angels successor chapters, Ka'Bandha and the Silent King. The hive mind is intelligent and knows that by erasing baal out of the map (and the blood angels) a lot of planets will be open for the nids to consume with very little effort and loss. The hive mind created a hive fleet specific to fight chaos so is no surprise that it also created and prepared a fleet to fight space marines' heavy fortified worlds
That Quarian art you snuck is wholesome as all hell. The Tau would be the ones who’d go out of their way to terraform a world _just right_ for them to live on right away. A bit of light in the grim darkness, if you like.
Video idea: Most badass crime fighters in WH40K. A good example would be Noctis and Rho01-Lux the main protagonists from Flesh and Steel. Noctis came from imperial, wealthy elite yet rather be a drunken, bitter Probator who still uses his wealth to live a slummy but well off life while fighting for the average citizen. Noctis gets paired with Rho, who is apart of the mechanicus equivalent of the Arbites called the Collegiate Extremis. It gives a good look at two people and the inner dynamics of imperial law and mechicus law
4:06 it's not just that Caine has common sense. It's more like he has it AND survived long enough to use it to it's fullest. You mentioned many times that WH 40k lore has a deep hateboner for those few people who dare posses common sense (not your exact words, but close enough). So Caine surviving for so long as he did, despite the Galaxy literally throwing at him everyting to try and kill him is what makes him trully unique.
@@DoctorM42 they didn't succeed It's more likely Big E himself either Destroyed the body - 50% Teleported it elsewhere - 50% If the tyranids consumed Sanguinius then they would have been able to defeat the other primarchs but this just isn't the case
Yarrick, imagine being so bad ass that you out rank not only a space marine but the grand marshal of the black templars him self on the orc respect list.
You should have added KaBandha and the blood angels. Dude saves the Blood angels from the the nids because they are to worthy of an opponent to let them get killed off.
10:18 in devastation of Baal the Tyranids attack Baal because it HATED the Blood Angels. It went out of its way to destroy them because the Blood angels stopped and beat the Tyranids more than once. In the book it said “it hated the enemy in red and gold armor.” It wasn’t respect but tactical hatred
Video Idea: 5 Lamest Named Human Characters I think this would really spice things up. If it works, you could even do it for the various Xenos factions
I would think Ka'Banda showing up with a whole fuckass demon host to save the blood angels because only he's allowed to kill them would be a huge moment of mention in this vid.
I am always puzzled by Helbrecht managing to go toe to toe with Imotekh. The necron is second only to the silent king and should be at Emperor level. How is it possible that a space marine can match him?
Fascinating how majorkill seems to be the only warhammer RUclipsr who says trillions and not many billions despite there obviously being many trillions of humans
I have idea, top 10 of strongest characters from Warhammer 40K that Majorkill likes/dislikes. Characters he likes put into top strongest list, or his most disliked characters put into top strongest list.
I like the idea of Gazgul and Yarrick fighting back to back against Tyranids Yarrick says "I never thought I'd die along side an ork." Gazgul "What about dieing along side a friend?" Yarrick *pauses* "Fuck you xenos." Gazgul "Fuck" *cries slightly* "Fuck you Umie."

Sly Marbo when he's not on the list: "Bruh."
Tbf, to build respect for someone, you have to actually survive encountering them.
I think this is spam/pishing, a lot of youtubers had similar issues, be careful with this kind of comments everyone
"those cheeks were already clenched, Hard"
Omfg, I'm dying 🤣🤣
4:06 it's not just that Caine has common sense. It's more like he has it AND survived long enough to use it to it's fullest.
You mentioned many times that WH 40k lore has a deep hateboner for those few people who dare posses common sense (not your exact words, but close enough). So Caine surviving for so long as he did, despite the Galaxy literally throwing at him everyting to try and kill him is what makes him trully unique.
3:55 Quarrians chilling in the background
this is the best video about space hulk: vengeance of the blood angels
curious that you mention Yarrick, since in the new codex his death is apparently confirmed
Didn't Tyranids attack Baal because the Hive Mind wanted to harvest the body of Sanguinius?
And it actually harvested it. One of the few instances of 40k lore where both sides achieve their objectives.
nothing will come from it knowing gw
@@DoctorM42 they didn't succeed
It's more likely
Big E himself either
Destroyed the body - 50%
Teleported it elsewhere - 50%
If the tyranids consumed Sanguinius then they would have been able to defeat the other primarchs but this just isn't the case
Also Sanguinius may still be alive in that avatar in the immaterium
We don't know yet
But short answer
No
The tyranids didn't eat Sanguinius's body
@@侍-u1k they wanted that sanguinussy tho
RIP Yarrick. Ghazkull will make Angron suffer in your memory.
Mechanicum/Mechanicus/dark mechanicum military forces are always respected, and would make an awesome video
I just bought thousend sons pack.. time to start painting for the first time! Had to brag a bit, i was waiting to do it for a long time
If an ork truly believed looking into Yarrick’s eye would kill them could it?
Short answer is yes
Long answer yes it did happen xD
awesome video! congrats on 400k too!
"if yarrick dies, the orks might become scary"
oh fuck
Established Titles aged wonderfully.
What about that powerful bloodthirster that save some of the blood angels from the nids
Wasn't Ravenor a psionic, not a psyker? I could be wrong, been a while since I read the books.
The timing of this video makes Yarrick’s death sting even worse
10:18 in devastation of Baal the Tyranids attack Baal because it HATED the Blood Angels. It went out of its way to destroy them because the Blood angels stopped and beat the Tyranids more than once. In the book it said “it hated the enemy in red and gold armor.” It wasn’t respect but tactical hatred
I think this was already mentioned but I'd like to recommend a list of Xenos the imperials actually respect
ravenor was just an interrogator, when he had his 'accident'
always good stuff maj.
A video on imperium ship weapons would be nice
On the fact that Gahzgull is holding back his big Waagghh, Yarick isn't in the new guard codex... Is the story moving forward?
Video Idea: 5 Lamest Named Human Characters
I think this would really spice things up. If it works, you could even do it for the various Xenos factions
Didn't even check the title, I seen Majorkill I clicked Majorkill
Could have been a repeat for all I care.
How about a Roane Deepers video ya Roane Drongo!
Probably my favorite channel, even if it's less than one percent I'm glad to contribute
I legit died when you said Helbrecht had the Galaxies cheeks clenched hard
Please Read Gaunts Ghosts ... its sooo good
Yarrick would have a tough time drawing his pistol with his power claw...
I would think Ka'Banda showing up with a whole fuckass demon host to save the blood angels because only he's allowed to kill them would be a huge moment of mention in this vid.
Holy fuck, you and one other youtuber are legit the only reason I give a shit and love this lore. Thank you🤘
Can you make a video about geography in warhemmer fantasy and warhemer 40k
Watching majorkill is cool but watching majorkill while subscribed and in 1080p is better.
Now a video of xenos respected in the galaxy pls
I am always puzzled by Helbrecht managing to go toe to toe with Imotekh. The necron is second only to the silent king and should be at Emperor level. How is it possible that a space marine can match him?
Never underestimate Helbrecht's weaponized tism.
Majorkill you should do aliens respected by humanity
I love how a puny little eldar dares call his angels "dumb" and "Br(u/i)tish" while they often get outsmarted by regular human
I dig the low key love Caiaphus gets here.
2:06 That's Space Two-Face
Fascinating how majorkill seems to be the only warhammer RUclipsr who says trillions and not many billions despite there obviously being many trillions of humans
I have idea, top 10 of strongest characters from Warhammer 40K that Majorkill likes/dislikes.
Characters he likes put into top strongest list, or his most disliked characters put into top strongest list.
Tantrum. Maybe a respectful one, but definitely a tantrum.
Video 17 of requesting each primarchs reaction to chaos/demons (including traitors)
I like the idea of Gazgul and Yarrick fighting back to back against Tyranids
Yarrick says "I never thought I'd die along side an ork."
Gazgul "What about dieing along side a friend?"
Yarrick *pauses* "Fuck you xenos."
Gazgul "Fuck" *cries slightly* "Fuck you Umie."
Not sure how true it is but saw it parroted around that the nids attacked Baal for Sanguninius' corpse. Would make some devious new bio forms.
How about most badass soldiers from the guard regiments. Like 1 from catachan 1 from mordian iron guard etc.
