When Prince performed "Purple Rain" at the Super Bowl, I think it is the greatest performance of all time from any artist who has performed at the Super Bowl. Watching Prince perform this during a torrential rainfall that night in Miami still gives me goosebumps! Before that night, many Americans had no idea Prince could play the guitar. Turns out, Prince is one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
I grew up hearing Prince's music constantly on the radio. It wasn't until I was an adult that I came to realize his genius.
Eric Clapton (who is a brilliant guitarist) was asked what it’s like to be the best guitarist in the world, and he responded: “I dunno. Ask Prince”. So sad he is gone but glad we have videos we can watch over and over again. This song makes me cry every time.
It's truly hard to express how great Prince was. Words just fail. He was a once in a generation type of talent.
When we lost Prince, we lost something special. He was a uniquely talented performer, singer, and songwriter. Shon, you've got to do a deep dive into this guy and see/learn everything about him. You will most definitely be blown away. He brought so much to the industry.

Just, a heads up .. Prince was 1 of the few men who could wear heels ... ruffled shirt ... makeup and steal your girl without even breaking a sweat. ❤❤❤❤
I had the privilige of seeing him live in Oakland before he died, and while his overall performance was incredible, it was his guitar playing that really blew me away. So many great songs from this man. Genius.
There’s a reason why a lot of…even punk rock kids like myself in the 80s, who couldn’t have given two shits about what was on the radio, never dogged Prince. That’s Bo Diddley, Elvis tier talent. Untouchable
Prince was the only guy who could walk into a club, in the 80's, wearing ruffles and high heels, and walk out with 2 other guys' girlfriends.

I had never cried when a celebrity died, til Prince. He is a once in a lifetime talent and a huge part of my teen years. I get goosebumps when his songs play. The music world will never be the same without him.
Prince was incredibly talented. I read somewhere that he self taught himself 14 different instruments. Such a loss to the music world!
Prince was one of the most talented human beings that has ever walked this earth. And that is not an exaggeration or opinion. Add on to that his love for the mysterious and you've got a magical combination. I miss him so much.

Prince actually captures a certain 80's style with this song mixed with his own insanely unique style. This isn't a song, it's a work of art to be admired by all the senses.
