Though Queen didn't initially plan to release the song, they did include "Another One Bites The Dust" in their concert playlist. Michael Jackson was a big fan of Queen and always came to see them went they performed in LA. After the concert, Michael came backstage to visit with Queen. Michael had been telling Queen for some time that they needed " a song the cats can dance to". When he heard them perform "Another One Bites the Dust", he told them they had to release it as a single. Hi Shon. Back in 1983, when my son was 5 years old, he had a pacemaker implanted. We told him we would get him something as a reward after his surgery. He said he wanted a tape with this song. It was his favorite song. The staff in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit laughed at his playing "Another One Bites the Dust" as he was recovering.

This was Queen’s biggest selling single ever, a number one hit in the US and numerous other countries. Another banger written by their bass player John Deacon.
A lot of people get pissed when you point out that this is their biggest hit. They just expect it to be 'Bho Rhap'. But by hitting #1 in the states, which 'Bho Rhap' didn't, 'Another One Bites the Dust' takes the cake.
@@coreywilliams923 Today Bohemian Rhapsody is their best *known* song but it was never their biggest *seller.* It barely made the top ten on first release, went back to number two when “Wayne’s World” revived it - but Crazy Little Thing went to number one and stayed there for four solid weeks straight.
