    Morning routines are the best! It's when you set your mood for the whole day so it's very essential. Establishing good habits (and good mood) will either make or damage your day!

    Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experiences surrounding what you are learning about routines, health, productivity and life. I totally believe in the benefits of routines and systems, but my personality type thrives on that, so it is easy for me.
    I do stretches for 1/2 an hour just after I get up, every day. Then two days a week I do strength training and two days a week I do sprint training for the spring/summer months, and just power walking four miles in the late fall/winter/early spring. Then I do an hour of journaling, an hour of Bible study and prayer, and then onto my day's activities, which could be home management, or ministry work, or time with family or friends, etc.
    Healthy eating is important to me, so meal preparation takes time and I schedule that, as well as evening rest, and adequate sleep.
    People tell me I am super self disciplined, but for me it is just who I am and I enjoy my routines and life.

    I like having coffee first thing in the morning at 7a then crashing by 7p and sleeping peacefully throughout the night...it's truly amazing...but I don't drink coffee often...just once or twice a week if at all...haha
