to be honest, even if you're overleveled, mobs can still trash you if you're not super overleveled or paying attention. That said, if you played through the game with some braincells on, you shouldn't even be touched by most mob enemies at high levels because you should already have a mental memory of how they attack. You'd also know how your own character plays with dodge rolls, not being too greedy, and more importantly THE DELAY ATTACK thing should have been driven into your brain when you first faced off with Margit.

There was at least 1 or 2 occasions where Dave got behind Mohg when he cast spells, he could have easily done 3 light attacks or 2 heavies for decent damage, but nope, a single Jump R2. Sure, it used to work when he could easily out-poise his enemies with it but that shit doesn't work anymore, and it won't work for the rest of the game. The end game salt is going to be delicious.

I'd rather struggle and be well rounded in combat so I can fight anyone, than to rely on one tactic and eventually run into someone who is resistant to it.

Dies 53 times, chugs over 12 potions per battle, over leveled for that area and we hear "See, that boss was super easy doood. You just have to learn the pattern". If you die more than 5 times to a single boss, then it wasn't easy. Easy would be beating a boss without healing and not dying 50 times.

I knew the Omen in the Sewers would fuck with him. Basically, they get massive hyper armour when they do wrastling moves (punching, kicking etc) so you can only really stagger them out of an attack when they swing their weapon at you. Took me a while to figure out, then adapt to.
Thats actually pretty interesting to know. As I found that the hits without a weapon were safe to punish with a guard counter. I'm still amazed at how different people find different things.

Agreed. I’m trying to break out of the panic roll habit. I’ve forced myself to learn a few useful weapon/ash combos and whatnot. It’s fun to have a few variations in the tool belt. Ng+ goes 10 times smoother once you’ve learned how to fight these bosses, too. (As opposed to cheesing R2)

Why does he constantly kite the boss for no reason as a melee build? That just makes the boss spam ranged attacks. How does he not pick up on that.
Because he only does jump, r2. He needs space for it to work uninterrupted but forgets that bosses won’t just stand there and take it.
He’s also completely useless at learning dodge timing. It’s hilarious how the spoon loves to point it out as the learnt strat but literally never achieves it and brute forces his way to victory. Oh the lord of blood will make him suffer: and Melania will water fowl his ass to oblivion. 🎉😂🎉😂
This dude is stubborn. Try changing weapons. His weapon choices to his skill level suck. There are weapon choices in the game that make the game a little easier. Jumping R2 only isn’t a good strat
My theory is he read that detractors were waiting for him to figh this boss, because they knew it would make him rage and he's trying his hardest not to give them what they want. He purposely complimenting the game here . It's out of pocket since he has to explain why every death and hit isn't his fault, but not here for some strange reason.
Dies 53 times, chugs over 12 potions per battle, over leveled for that area and we hear "See, that boss was super easy doood. You just have to learn the pattern".
If you die more than 5 times to a single boss, then it wasn't easy. Easy would be beating a boss without healing and not dying 50 times.

What's really funny is that I'm pretty sure that isn't the boss they were talking about. There is another Mogh that has a second form after the same fight Phil just did, imagine that, he barely kills the boss and there is a harder version of it
You can really tell the difference. Dave raging and toxic and slagging off the game and developers for him sucking at games is entirely genuine. But you can literally hear how hard he's trying to pretend like he's enjoying this, when he's obviously barely containing a Vesuvius of saltoclastic flow.

He says the game has massive delay when he’s losing. So by his logic, the boss having a delay in his attacks should make him dodge on time since he’s dodging early.

I don't think he's saying the game has a delay, he's saying the attack itself has an unexpected pause between the start of the animation and the actual swing and it's fucking up his timing because his babybrain isn't adapting to it.

I knew the Omen in the Sewers would fuck with him. Basically, they get massive hyper armour when they do wrastling moves (punching, kicking etc) so you can only really stagger them out of an attack when they swing their weapon at you. Took me a while to figure out, then adapt to.
Thats actually pretty interesting to know. As I found that the hits without a weapon were safe to punish with a guard counter.

Agreed. I’m trying to break out of the panic roll habit. I’ve forced myself to learn a few useful weapon/ash combos and whatnot. It’s fun to have a few variations in the tool belt.
Ng+ goes 10 times smoother once you’ve learned how to fight these bosses, too. (As opposed to cheesing R2)
