Thank you for your videos. Not only are they helpful, your tone and demeanor are calming to the soul which is not an easy thing to find these days. If there was a way to monetarily gift, I would have done that. God bless.
I find that whenever I allow myself to be vulnerable is the greatest gift I can offer another 💯 🙏 We are all experiencing emotional pain and trauma other than a few minority amongst us which I must say is a rare existence.....Most of humanity is experiencing some level of disfunction due to our family of origin. We prescripted our lives signing agreements with others in order for us to bring together Knowledge and Experience which helps us to know the difference because knowledge without experience is incomplete....
Thank you for letting us know your back story. I came across your videos on Facebook and look forward to binge watching your RUclips or taking a breather to process. 😉😉😉
I was always trying to be funny and deflect from serious circumstances. I learned that this trait stemmed from the fact that I didn't want people to see the real me, because growing up I was bullied and knew and felt that I wasn't as smart or academically inclined as my siblings and others I admired growing up. I retreated into myself more and more. The being funny part continued, and became a trademark of me so to speak. Most times joking or humor is harmless, but making fun of others is never funny. I learned through lots of therapy that I used comedy to cope and I was really projecting some of my anger, as if to say "see me" because I didn't ever really feel seen growing up. Therapy taught me to see and learn the mal adaptive habits I was using to cope with unresolved issues; such as not learning how to communicate through words, only art. I was an excellent artist but would sabotage goals, and not communicate well (and sometimes still do :) Anyway,. I wanted to apologize for laughing at the fuzz in your hair in one video, I'm sorry I laughed at the piece of fuzz in your hair. ::) Thank you for your educational videos.
Dear Jim, you are just a wonderful human being, helping so many with what you do. I hope you wake up every day knowing that. 🙏🏼best therapist that I ever had the luck of finding online🫶🏻thank you!
