No, no, not the headless chicken! Love that first walk in the early morning hours with Otis while there is still dew on the grass and some fog in the air. Always too, stop to listen and often forget that there are so many birds greeting the new day as well. Beautiful morning and great work! Bruce and Otis
Can't beat the early hours to be out and about can you Bruce and Otis ! So peaceful, calm and tranquil - thanks for watching and for the lovely comments :)
Andrew, I do not think I have ever seen you "panic", I always find you calm and reassuring when you are taking your photos. Personal favourite for this one is Burnt Orange, the play of light on the leaves is amazing. Thankyou for sharing your images and the countryside where you live. See you out there!
Thank you ever so much for the wonderful comments Euge and 'm so glad you enjoyed the film and the local countryside in which I was photographing. Really appreciate you watching :)
Such beautiful place with the mist and love birds chirping! Awesome skill for the fabulous shots. Really love it. Thank you for wonderful sharing. Have a beautiful weekend 😍❤️👍👍
Just gorgeous Andrew. I think these conditions are my favourite. Cant wait for the mists to descend again although don’t want to wish the Summer away. 😃 My favourites. Dancer is wonderful and the unnamed image at 10:50 is just beautiful 😍😍 A lovely relaxing watch mate - what a morning you had!! Have a great weekend
Big thanks Dave and glad you enjoyed the wander - it was a cracking morning indeed and so peaceful, calm and tranquil - just idyllic ! Don't get many mornings like this it was great be out with the camera when the mists descened! Cheers
Great work in this one Andrew! Looks like an awesome morning. I really like the b&w statue image. Although I’m not usually and ICM fan, those couple turned out really good and painterly. Nice!
Many thanks as always for the kind words of support and encouragement Brian. Glad you enjoyed the film and ICM is quite a marmite taste !! Much appreciated:)
I really enjoyed the walk in the woods Andrew. Some lovely images. Burnt Orange was perhaps my favorite although I like the BW images too. Thanks as always for sharing,
Headless chicken mode 😂 It's tough not to run around like mad when you have such lovely conditions, isn't it? I really liked that shot of River Douglas, "Invasive". "Burnt Orange was a beauty as well. Great advice throughout of trying to slow down and keep calm. I've come to appreciate the value in ICMs recently and really enjoyed the ones you displayed here, beautiful. Always a fantastic viewing experience your videos Andrew and this was no exception. Hope all is well mate, chat soon!
Really appreciate the great comments Paul and so glad you enjoyed both the film and the images. The mist seems to hang around a bit longer than you expect (well that was my experience) so staying calm was the order of the day ! It's a big enough plantation as to take a while to wander from location to location for the images but as long as that mist was hanging in the air all was good ! And yes I always forget ICM - a marmite genre - love it or hate it ! All the best and speak soon :)
Well, you've certainly inspired somebody in my family to get out.....my son was sat next to me whilst I had a quick search for Haigh Woodland Park to see where it is and he saw the pictures of the play area, looks like we'll be heading there soon haha! You're on a roll with these....or I didn't see your last one for a little whilst after publishing perhaps. Some really nice shots and a tranquil video to match. I'm a big fan of the abstract look, loved those icm shots towards the end too
My grandson loves it up there Dave - it's a great family day out ! My Bluebells video was supposed to go out last Friday but technical issues (mine btw) meant it went out Sunday instead !! I just love mornings like this - I was there for about 3 and a half hours and apart from the odd dog walker here and there it really was so serene - you can't beat it can you ? Anyway trying to find flights to Istanbul so I'll crack on and all the best mate - enjoy Haigh Hall if you go too :)
Andrew, those monochrome shots were magical - it's so tempting to shoot colour in woodland because of the vibrant colours but I think you've just proved we all should be considering black and white too, Burnt Orange was another good image - I can't walk past a beach tree without taking a shot of the leaves, so that was a winner for me too. As for the ICM, I think everyone is on a roll with that recently - my next video sees me at the coast to do some ICM too.
Thanks for watching Andrew and I could see on the back of the camera that Statues and Whispers were going to look great in bnw . I’m sure I’ll be back to shoot that beech tree again , in winter and in the mist too. Saw your ICM film is out too and it’s been an age since I last did any - always forget !! Anyway thanks again and all the best :)
That was a successful morning - the two black and white images stood out for me, statues and whispers.
Big thanks for watching Russ and really appreciate the comments as ever :)
