I am absolutely in love with your visual style and places you are capturing, thanks for the video, It's like a meditation and deep breath of fresh foggy air :)
Hi Andrew, your photography captured beautiful conditions and scenes, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching and following your journey. New visitor. Thanks for sharing💖
Love those misty woodlands shots. I am jealous, as our forests here tend to be very busy with brush and understory. It makes it quite a challenge. That shot at 9:33 is fantastic!
Thanks so much for the encouraging comments 🙏 We don’t experience too many misty mornings so it’s very pleasing to make the most of the conditions when they do !
Beautiful mist shots. Nature is so beautiful, nothing can beat the beauty of the nature. Thanks for sharing this video with us. Greetings from India. New sub
That looks like a lovely woodland area made all the more interesting with the misty conditions. You captured some really nice characters in this one mate , the first image at 2:25 was really nice and a fitting title i thought . Really liked the image in that clearing at 9:29 . Conditions looked almost perfect that day and you certainly made the most of it. Really nice mate enjoyed that. Take care !!
Glad you enjoyed it Lee and it’s a favourite spot to visit when the mist descends. And yes near perfect conditions- just needed the sun to break through for those light rays but cannot be greedy 🤣🤣 Thanks again and have a good week 👍🏻
Cracking set of images Andrew, particularly liked the images at 9:34. Good to see someone out exploring woods that are not on everyone's radars some videos show. atb Alan
It’s a favourite spot for me Alan quite local and one I’m getting more familiar with composition wise - thanks for the kind words and appreciated 👍🏻 thanks for watching 🙏
I've recently been watching a programme called Brassic (Sky) and every five minutes or so seemed to be saying to my wife, that's such a place. It's filmed in various areas around GM and Lancashire but amazing what you can recognise from even a fleeting glimpse on screen. Lovely images mate, couple of those could have easily been watercolour on canvas, beautiful light touch processing.
Thanks Dave and location scouting would be job I’d love to do ! There’s many a dramatisation I e watched and recognised the location and when our in the van or with the camera come across so many spots that would be great for tv. Glad you enjoyed the images and thanks for watching 👍🏻
Lovely stuff Andrew. I like how you got a bit closer and concentrated on the branches and foliage in the first couple of images - something a bit different. They were all great though; I love the light in the image at 9:30. I was out capturing similar scenes this morning - it was the second attempt but the forecast finally came good and I got some fog this morning. Just a regular location though, not a famous TV set! 😀
Thanks for watching Robert and glad you found the images interesting - we both know how tricky woodland photography can be and it’s a challenge indeed. Glad you got the weather you wanted - it’s been a rarity this year but hopefully with autumn upon us we will see more Misty mornings . Thanks again
Great video, Andrew. I particularly liked the image 'whispers in the light', very dreamy. I'm guessing a few weeks later the woodlands will look different again.
Many thanks Andy - sorry for the late reply as we’re out in the van miles away from internet !! Thanks for joining me on the wander and yes indeed 🍂- when we return it will have changed for sure 🍁
