You had a great misty morning with that soft light. The autumn colours are definitely hanging around (they tend to last through to the end of November down south). A cold week is coming up, so that may speed up the autumn progression.

That looked a really intense sunrise beautiful colours as you said them burnt oranges looked great. Morning Embrace at 7:17 i think was my favourite but all really nice and well processed , what a morning to be out with the camera !

Great video Andrew, sorry for the late comment. Frankly, I haven't spent any time on YT at all recently but always look forward to an Andrew Hamilton video! Beautiful, soft early morning conditions you had that day. "Autumn's Soft Mirage" was a real late autumn beauty - all the images were gorgeous with that light mist. Is this location just north of town? I feel like I've heard of it before, or maybe just remember a sign...the memory five years on from the last visit is starting to get a bit fuzzy. But I always enjoy seeing the local landscape around W-Town. Hope you all are doing well and getting prepared for the holidays. We are in full holiday mode here since Thanksgiving and looking forward to having our youngest home for Christmas next week. If I don't speak to you, wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years!
Many many thanks Paul and appreciate the great comments - it was a last minute decision to head out after seeing the potential for mist and glad 😌 made the effort. It’s a local spot to the north side of town yes - well remembered! It’s little known unlike Risley Moss which is much more popular. All our decorations are up and we’re preparing for the holidays and we have two coming home for Christmas which will be lovely. Likewise all the best and wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas !
