Ray Remen it's so dangerous that the laser can't even be shined in the window for more than a tenth of a second it's not even long enough to do anything. Just face it man it's more blinding driving a car when someone shines bright lights at you. There has never been any plane crashes or problems

I don't own a laser pointer and, if I did, I would never point one at an aircraft, but ... there are an average of 6,000 laser pointing at aircraft per year. 0 accidents. Look it up. You sound disappointed . Most laser pointing happens at takeoff and landing at airports. It causes temporary blindness ,something I'm guessing most people don't want their pilots to have when taking off or landing as sight is very important at those times. In flight the laser glares out the aircraft windows . Though most instances happens at takeoff or landing, they just made the law to cover anytime .

I won't even bother to ask how you would feel or react in the same situation, because you're probably a bad driver and certainly don't have a pilot's license of any sort. Except maybe "acid pilot."
