If you can slap a M2 SSD slot, or maybe better two for extreme RAID0 array speeds on a 16” M1 Max like the Slots on the Intel NUC8i7HVK that would be even crazier

And these lanes coming from PCH do not support bifurcation, so maybe not. maybe it's a better idea to put large SSD capacity and create two partition.

youre right, this is 2230 size, so the speed is around 1500-2000rw. & the main purpose of this mod is to increase storage capacity as well as replacing dead SSDs.
You ever thought of making your own SSDs, so that’s you have storage space for the OS and a separate storage space for your apps pic’s music et cetera et cetera and to keep the speed is constant, a little bit of a magic.. Have you thought about doing any of that?

after modification i see small issue , every think is working fine. but it draining battery when computer are sleep. when shutdown battery are not draining.

It's an NVMe 2242 instead of a 2280. Normally, I wouldn't expect 2242 to be that fast.

Hi, if you upgrade this macbook to 2TB SSD(with the mod in video), then you can make several partitions out of the same SSD.
