Question: how did u ensure none of the old plastic fan particles didnt get down the coolant hose? Im doing this and want to make sure no pieces are floating in the system when i reassemble. Thanks
Guys!! You don’t need to remove the fan to do this. Unbolt the flange pull the hose off, it’s very flexible don’t worry about being too gentle
Did you have to drain the coolant to install it ?

I did bc it gave me more space, but I believe you don’t have to, but if you do remove it, it makes it more easier
Did u have to get a new serp belt if the coolant gets on it?
No, if you want take it off and wipe it clean then use break clean on any surface that coolant went on
I was working on my serpentine belt when this hose just popped out with little pressure.. then I noticed there was barely anything for it to be attached to. There wasn't much of that flange left..

@@JailayTV They do sell it at autozone or advance auto.. just picked one up for 30 bucks.. it's like 23 on ebay but you'll have to wait 3 days..

What is the specific name of the hose that you are connecting to the flange? I need both the flange and the hose for my repair but all of the hoses look similar. Can you help me out ?

That hose is flexible, i dont see why was it so hard to get that metal ring out of the hose, just bending it and pulling kablamoo!! Problem solved
Flange** particles.. not fan particles. It seemed really brittle and breaking apart
