Thanks, i also always start with normal head, because it gives you more torque and it's not round, like the bottom one. Than after its loose i will do the bottom head cause its faster, but definitely a great tip 👍
Always pleasing to see the good you do saving those awesome bikes, forgoten or negleted treasures waiting to be shreddded, KEEP THE GREAT CONTENT⚠⚠ 🤘🏻✌🏻🤙🏻
Nice build. I'd just clear coated the sanded down version of the frame tbh... that was looking so sick and raw but still, really nice restoration of an 26'' mtb. What kind of chain did you put on? Is that some sort of "self tensioning" stuff?
@@Nexmtb Not long ago I've built myself a similar bike. There was a 2010ish hardtail collecting dust around my garage so when I stumbled upon an used Cresent dirt bike frame for 25€ it was almost a non brainer. Such an enjoyable project.
Finally a video when i see the chainring setup on exterior, like mine, normally all saying need to be inside of the pedall..so is ok?if i got iut like in this video?can affect my chain to slide or something like that?
It doesn't really matter if its inside or outside, it depends on how straight is your chain line, front and rear sprocket should be in line with one another, hope you understand what i am saying 😀
It's thread lock. Common brand is called Loctite Threadlocker. The blue compound will hold the threads from coming out with vibrations but you can easily back out the screw when needed. There is a red compound that is almost like superglue for threads and only use when you anticipate never removing the screw ever again (takes a torch to loosen it up).
@@Nexmtb Agreed on the color choice. White all the way. You don't always need a special tool for the job. The rubber mallet did the job. Watch some Sam Pilgrim builds to see how to get the job done. LOL
I mean dirt jumpers are closest to bmx bike... and i really like these grips even tho they are really cheap.. as for the fork, its really good fork, but maybe you dont like that its white.. but personally i really like that combo with black and red parts :)
Hope you like this one ;)

Thanks 😊, I was thinking the same but i think black fits a little bit better..
@@Nexmtb Yeah probably true, nevertheless I love this gold colour haha

nicely done, upcycle !
quick tip, never loosen bolts off with the button head of the allen key. it'll round it off quicker

Thanks 😊, maybe in the future i will do build like that... its just a single speed half link chain.. no need for any tensioner 😀

What solution did you use for the chain?
Just a gasoline 🙂, Works really good, but make sure to rinse it off well
@@Nexmtb what kind of gasoline? or what would work aswell?
@@kyan4500 just a standard gasoline from gas station... you can also use some sort of degreaser
from where did u get the decals set?
Somewhere on aliexpress
s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DFg9KIL
8:35 what sand paper u use? or its just Tissue
@fortuner6088 its not a sand paper, its just a paper towel, i cleaned the fork... before applying new stickers
@Nexmtb thank you
What is the brand of the crankset?
8:33 is that normal sandpaper or some special metal sandpaper
@mrWantsMx650Parts thats not sandpaper at all, that is justa a paper towel with some gasoline on it, to remove any glue lef ovet from the stickers
@@Nexmtb ty
wath the name of glue to remove the stiker ??
I think I skipped the part where Turned Into Dream Mountain Bike MOUNTAIN BIKE, because I only saw how they cleaned up an old drit jump.
Cleaning up, painting, fixing old parts, and installing brand new parts 😉. For some people this really is a dream bike.
Whats the blue glue you put on the stuff to make it more slidy?
It's thread lock. Common brand is called Loctite Threadlocker. The blue compound will hold the threads from coming out with vibrations but you can easily back out the screw when needed. What is the name of the liquid that you put the chain in?
He changed the renthal handlebars! why? crazy!
🤷😂
I would personally keep those for a better bike. They didn't match this build either.
10:27, what on earth is this magical solution?
It's paint stripper
Alr now give it to me
Jk
Nice restoration btw
Thanks 🙏Maybe i should really make a giveaway out of it 🤔🤫

but next time pls use the proper tools for the headset and maybe paint the top part of the fork black
