I set off on a trip to do some camping and #stormchasing with a professional storm chaser and freelance weather reporter and the journey had a bit more storm and a bit less camping than I planned. We saw a small #tornado rated EF0, lots of wind damage, and some beautiful supercells! I learned a lot about tornadoes and extreme weather. Lucky for me I wasn't camping when the hail came down!

I was thinking about you today! So good to see you! Thank you for posting this! ❤
Done. It's good to see you back Steve 👍
Good to see you back. Stay strong fella and be secure in the knowledge you bring happiness to many people :) hope you have more fun trips this summer and I'm sure beautiful wife is looking down smiling at your adventures ❤
We love you Steve ❤❤❤❤❤❤
God bless you Steve, thank you for this video, storm chasing is one of my favourites 👍👍👍
It's not just a camping channel. It's us seeing Steve channel. If you decide to do something else. We love it 😅
steve does what he wants, when he wants
💯👍
We will watch regardless of what you are doing/posting Steve, we all love your channel!
So true!
It's more like Adventures with Steve. Personally, I would love to see him branch out and do different things. Maybe do more collabs.
We're here for you, a cooking with steve, camping with steve, chasing with steve, doesn't matter, we're here for you. Do what makes your heart sing and we'll be there with you along the way Steve
Yep
The channel really should be called "Hanging out with our good friend Steve", and I'm all for it as well!
😊FOR SURE!❤
What a beautiful way to put it.
Ditto
You’re not finishing up the list alone Steve, she’s with you every step of the way ❤ and us too ! ❤
@AmandaViGMusic Is your music still online anywhere?
❤️ everything you do Steve.
plz tell Canada to take its smoke back thx 🤞😊
Steve is the only man on earth who could find kind words for that "murder hotel." The "room tour" was hysterically bad -- although I will say the place looked scrupulously clean. Such joy in Steve's voice when he announced the bathroom had all the fixtures! That's our Steve!
I was worried about bed bugs lol
Seriously...the lighting..tilted walls..straight out of a cheap horror game lmao
Was that even a functioning hotel? Just saying, I wouldn’t put it past Steve to find an abandoned hotel and hunker down, and give it good reviews too. LOL
i caught a laugh from the toilet tour also.
Just need that sleeping bag, and put the tent on the bed.
I know you are struggling behind the scenes sometimes, but i just want you to know people who follow your channel know how mentally strong you are and it is inspiring. Never change Steve, you are a gem of a man.
Well said. I agree
Courage is continuing on, even though feeling crushed, scared, discouraged, terrified, depressed, and/or hopeless. Keep on, keeping on, ever bravely.
"And, this is loosely a camping channel" No my friend, this is a Steve channel. We are here for you.
Yeah, Steve has the sort of personality and charisma to sustain a channel more broad than just camping if that’s what he wants to do. Swapping channel identity from a specific topic to something more broad is probably something that causes a lot of anxiety for content makers.
Just name the channel to "Adventures with Steve". It's all encompassing.
I consider this to be Adventures With Steve, not just camping. When I watch, I feel like I’m going along with a friend. This was lots of fun! Also, I’m now following Kyle’s channel. Cheers!
THIS!
This!
As a wife who’s going to have to leave her husband behind, I’m so proud to see you find the strength to carry out you’re bucket list. I hope my husband finds that strength after I have to go. I wish so much I could stay, but I think at least we are lucky that we have the warning you didn’t. Love you, gotta go now x
I hope the rest of your days are the best ❤
Godspeed, your husband might be a basket case for a while but you’ve probably prepared him and I’m very sorry that you had to.
Please be as happy as you can be. You’ve got a whole new adventure ahead of you.🙏
God bless you and keep you sweet girl, I pray your days are filled with love and laughter, it’s hard to find appropriate words for someone who is facing their death😢, but you sound an amazing strong woman, I pray that your husband does find strength. Hold no fear, as one door closes another opens, I truly truly believe you will live on in some form, create special memories for your husband to immerse himself in when you have gone, much love 💗
Steve, you know the majority of us are here for you right? Not the channel, you could literally watch grass grow one video and we’d all still love it. Keep it up, sending love from the Somerset, UK ❤
Same!, from Donington UK
And Gloucestershire UK
And London 🍻
And from the lone star state TEXAS
Sadly, you'd be surprised at how many folks just pop in 'cause they saw an interesting thumbnail/title, then popped out. And since Steve often remarks on the need to do stealth camping, he probably has metrics that shows he makes more revenue off those videos than anything else. So that crowd probably doesn't have an interest in the storm chasing. Us fans of Steve of course are here for anything, but I don't think we are the majority.
I don’t come here for the camping, I come for you Steve and whatever adventure you are heading for. Much love.
The one time where Steve Hunkers *UP* and I'm all here for it.
I think most of us are the same
Here's to Steve...
and step 2.
Same!
ditto!! and well done for following the bucket list!!!
I love the humility. That he actually thinks we are just here to see stealth camping makes me like him even more. The channel is called Steve Wallis for a reason. I could watch him do literally anything and enjoy it.
Now that was wholesome
I'd happily watch Steve mow his lawn. Such a cool, real guy.
This is taking Hunker Down to a whole new level and I love it. Glad to hear you're in a better headspace Steve. We're all rooting for you.
I echo the sentiments of many other posters, I’m not here for the camping, I’m here for Steve.
You remind me of my late father, I lost him to Covid in 2020. In a way spending time with Steve feels like spending time with my dad and I sure miss my dad.
Thank you for taking us on your journey Steve, wherever that may lead!
Came for the camping, stayed because you are awesome....no matter where you are taking us.
Steve your wife is with you on every trip. Awesome video thank you xxxx
I know its the Canadian way, but no need to apologize, Steve. We love you no matter what adventure you are on! Hope you are doing well brother.
Huh?
Totally agree! :)
@@faizzfrancis9589 Huh??
Storm chasing with Steve, white water rafting with Steve, watching paint dry with Steve......we'd watch them all! Seriously, its you that makes your channel great, the camping's the bonus. Just keep on keeping on and we'll always be here 😊 Loved this video by the way, take care.
@linds7727, very nice of you to say ☺️.
@@campingwithsteve Yep, Steve could even make "Watching Paint Dry with Steve" interesting and we would still always watch it. Film what you want Steve, we will enjoy it.
I really want to see "Watching Paint Dry with Steve" now
I’d watch a train trip across Canada also!
@@campingwithsteve Well personally I would like you to talk if I was watching you watch paint drying. But yeah, we're just here with ya. This was fun!
For me it’s The Steve Wallis Experience. No matter what you do, I love to watch! Cheers! ❤
Appreciate it, thank you
Kyle has that PERFECT weatherman voice. It’s weird to not see him in front of a giant map, like seeing your teacher at the supermarket.
Camping with Steve? Sure! Bucket List with Steve? Sure! It was cool hanging out with you again. Thanks for being you Steve.
Bucket List With Steve sounds like an amazing new series lol I’d watch
I'm right there with you. Steve.
I know your wife passed away before my husband but since September 3rd 2022 and on our anniversary it has been really difficult for me as well.
But I take each day one at a time.
My girlfriend Susan. God bless her heart has been keeping company with me on camping out on my back side of my property which overlooks a 15 ft bank down to the water below.
For the last couple of weekends, we've been camping out in our hammocks and having the time of our life.
If it weren't for her I don't know what I would have done.
And thank goodness you have Crazy Neighbor to help you get through your grieving.
It's not easy but in time our hearts will heal, and with each passing day, living life gets a little easier.
Thank you for providing us with the entertainment that you're so good at.
And of course I'm one of your loyal fans and always look forward to your next video.
My husband Gary passed on March 14, 2022. I will always miss him.He was my soulmate as I was his...

It is a sad thing when we lose our other half and we're empty for quite some time but when we keep ourselves busy not only with our hands but with our mind the days get easier and so it is with you and Steve it will get easier as it has with me. I sometimes find myself remembering the things we did, and the tears start falling down my cheeks. It's difficult, but it's bearable...and the good Lord always sends a comforter.
My condolences, ma'am you are so strong, and I pray you continue to heal in all ways.
How true! And the Lord is always at work, even here. He has somehow made sure that everyone in the thread will have extra prayers this evening. God Bless!
Kyle has the voice of a broadcast meteorologist. I could listen to him talk about weather all day!
Hey Steve..so proud to see you fulfilling some of yours and Jess' bucket list dreams..just know her spirit is right there with you pursuing your bucket list adventures..watching over you, keeping you safe and encouraging you to continue moving forward..your audience watching these adventures are also right with you as you take us along..and here for your whenever you are feeling down..your adventures are always fun and exciting but.. it is your down to earth warm, kind, honest, and open personality and your heart we love so much..thank you for the time you spend with all of us❤🙏♥️
No.
This channel has a heartbeat, a life all its own. It takes its time but delivers the goods at just the right moment. Steve Wallis isn’t here to save the world, he’s here to help us all find our own little step 2.
"our own little Step Two's" or threes or fourths. Life sure has... An ordeal for us
Keep on Dtep 2-ing On?
✊🏽🍀✌🏽💞🙏
We are all ONE & STEP 2?
😂
"this channel has a heartbeat, a life all its own" what a beautifully poetic way to put it. couldnt agree more honestly. i find myself coming here in my dark times bc it just feels so comforting and comfortable.
I'd be more scared of sleeping in that first hotel than I would be of sleeping anywhere outdoors!
I would watch Steve crush his bucket list. Channels evolve, I grew to love Steve and his shenanigans. I always enjoy having a step 2 with Steve, and hopefully many more are down the road.
I'm glad that your head is in a better place and that you are getting some bucket list items done. We are here to watch YOU. Whether you float down a river, sleep in a treehouse or storm chase, we enjoy it all!
That motel felt like a stealth camp, honestly. Glad you got to realize your storm chasing dream!
The was the sketchiest motel room I've ever seen. I'd be checking everything. Especially for bed bugs/needles ect lol
That reminded me of some of the motels we got out here in the desert lol
I've said it before, and it still rings true: your genuine authenticity is a balm to all of us. I'm here for anything, storm chasing, knitting, hot air balloons!
Knitting ya!😊😅

“Steve does what he wants, when he wants”
Much to our delight and great anticipation.
We love Steve and he has talent. Steve could make opening a can of green beans entertaining.❤️❤️❤️
I can't believe Netflix hasn't picked you up. Your the best Steve. Thanks man. 👍
We love when you’re camping, but that’s not why we’re here. We’re here because over the course of your videos you’ve always come out as genuine. It doesn’t matter if you’re camping or not brother, we’re here for YOU.
Same here Steve I support this 100 percent you just please do you and make yourself happy.
No one’s skipping the Tornado footage. Matter of fact it was refreshing to see you thinking out of the box and sharing this awesome adventure. Keep them coming Steve.
Since when has Steve not thought, and acted, outside the box!
@@visnuexe Never said he hasn’t. So many countless times he has. A/c unit in a tent. Roundabout stealth camping. Cave camping. It was a complement and I’m guessing you read it wrong. Cheers.
Skipped it. Tornadoes are dumb, and avoiding them is advisable
@@ChristopherRuggiero-mm4ky thanks for supporting Steve.
Steve you are a man after my own heart. Severe weather has always been an interest. With my Ham license I'm finally taking Skywarn training this month.
We love YOU, we’re here for YOU. One of the most genuinely good guys on the planet, Jess would be so proud of YOU. ❤ Group hug of over a million people, here, for YOU! 🎉
🙌 yes 🙌 ❤
As many have stated before. We love watching you do anything! Be a man of many things! We will accompany you on your adventures ❤
Even take up origami, Steve!
Refreshingly different video. This isn't a camping channel; this is Steve Wallis. We watch the life of Steve, not just stealth camping! I watch to see what you (& sometimes Crazy Neighbor) are up to. The videos I most enjoy are the building ones, a raft, a train track, a tree house, a school bus camper, etc. Then comes the travel; trains, hotels, car trips, etc. Some of these are genius ideas. We love you, not your campsites. Keeping you in my prayers as you work through your grief. You are not alone. Thousands of people watch your videos and keep you in their prayers, too. I hope you can feel the love pouring out through the comments.
You Rock Steve!!!!
Keep On Keeping On Fellow Albertan!!!!
Steve is officially my hero. Thanks so much for helping me during difficult times. You help people so much more than you will ever know, and I hope that helps you too 👍
Thanks John!
I think that Rainbow was Jess’s way of letting you know she was right there storm chasing with you! 🥰
what a cute thought 😢
Why tell such a ridiculous lie?
@@xJG91x why comment such a stupid reply?!
I admit i was skeptical. I'm here for CAMPING WITH STEVE. After only a few minutes I realized...I'm just here for STEVE. I loved it. I will follow you on whatever adventure you get up to. Sky is the limit buddy. I'm along for the ride. Beautiful Wife would absolutely be proud. Keep being you, you bring inspiration and joy to so many.
I was a bit nervous for a sec when I saw the word, “skeptical” at the beginning of your comment, I have to confess. Thanks for watching anyway, and eventually enjoying it! It’s tough to know if people will still want to watch if it’s a bit different then my usual stuff. Take care and Hunker Down :)
@@campingwithsteve you really are the best Steve. I take my daughter out camping from time to time and we always wonder if it would be a good spot for Steve. If you find yourself in Kentucky we have some great spots. Thank you. Really..I mean it. Thank you. Wish you the best.
@@campingwithsteve You guys both need to give eachother the benefit of the doubt! 😂 Engaging content and the most gratitude-filled comment section on RUclips, as always. ✌️
@@campingwithsteve We enjoy your channel because it's like hanging out with a friend. You never know what might happen when you go out on a trip and that's exactly what we enjoy sharing - just dealing with things as they come!
Hi Steve and Kyle nice power to you two ,the rainbow was awesome that was Jess letting you know she's enjoying the chase with you, thanks for taking us along on your trip, stay blessed
Steve, I just wanted to say you've been not only an inspiration to me, but in ways a savior. Without needless ranting, I can absolutely identify with you and I thank you for your raw courage to share yourself with us.
Most of your constant viewers aren't here for the stealth camping, they're here for you! - Says me, one of your fans who does just that!
Same here!
Amen
It's true. Not so much the activities (although the camping is my favorite, stealth or otherwise) but it's Steve. If I'm ever in Canada, I'm going to try my best to have a beer with him
Well said!!
Me too !
Steve. It was a tornado. I spent 20 years as a National Weather Service spotter. I have seen the phenomena you saw many times. An EF-0 is not very photogenic, but it does damage. As a spotter, our training was to "observe and report." I've witnessed up to an EF-4. That was as a child in the 1974 super outbreak as it tore through my hometown. It started me on my path. In Kentucky, the hilly terrain and curves really prevents chasing because of hazards unrelated to the storm. In the plains of Canada and the US, this is possible. I just hope the chasers you were with are connected to the Environmental Canada as doppler radars cannot see what it on the ground. You have to have boots there communicating back to the authorities. Many of the chasers in the US are ham radio operators who communicate with authorities. Glad you had fun, and STAY SAFE!
I personally don't feel like camping is mandatory. "Steve's Adventures" is all I'm here for :D
I really enjoyed watching you do something from your bucket list. Do what makes you happy Steve. We will keep watching!
A camping channel- not at this point. We're all here to see whatever content you feel like sharing. I think Beautiful Wife would be so proud of you for taking this trip.
Cheesing them burgs, lighting a fire with a flame thrower, storm chasing.....doesn't get any better than this.
Doesn't matter what you do, we watch because of you. That was totally fascinating, thank you for sharing it with us. Stay safe 🙂🙂
Keep you head up Steve we all love you
Been watching you for the last year and you’re my favorite channel at night when I hunker down for bed. I love watching your adventures, no matter where they take you. That’s why I love your Step 2 channel so much cuz it shows you doing all kinds of stuff. Thanks for getting me through a tough time with your videos Steve, they are incredibly comforting.
It's you we come to see. I'm very happy to hear you are doing a little better but you will still have bad days. I lost a loved one and there are still bad days every once in awhile. Hang in there. Your fans are here to do what we can to assist.
Oh crap!!! You’ll end up in Oz!!! Hey. Idea. Bring Garbage and call her Toto for the day!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed this Steve! Hope you enjoyed it 😊
Best channel I've found in ages, you're fun to watch Steve no matter what you're up to.
Storm chasing with steve...unbelievable, that was awesome , thank you for bringing us along
Please keep doing all of these bucket list items Steve. It's amazing how you're honouring Beautiful Wife by memorializing these adventures.
Love how intense and passionate the Storm Chaser guy was. Great Video as always 🫡👏🏻
Great vid as always. It doesn't have to be camping with Steve to make it a good watch...stormchasing w Steve, eating w Steve, shopping w Steve and even house reno w Steve, we love it whatever you want to do! 😊 take care and hope to see some more vids soon, missed ya!
We have followed you for , what will it be 7/ 9 years, this is a leap forward and I hope you are happy with it all. Well done Steve. Look forward to the next 9 years.
I chased storms for 5 years, and I have never seen anything half as terrifying as that pink motel.
It definitely was not a Marriott!
LOL! 🤣
Steve I want to say, You have been doing camping videos for the longest time but I really truly think the comments section is right. This channel is more of a Steve's Vlogging Channel instead of solely being set on camping and it shows in the different videos you do and the great responses they garnish. I think you have all of the doors open for expanding this channel to do more things that you might enjoy outside of camping. Your personality is what is bringing people back so content wise it seems the sky is the limit!
I loved seeing you start looking for a camp site in the afternoon, leading into evening with no luck. I have been there too and I fortunately was able to find a random forest service trailhead that we camped at for the night in the parking lot. Otherwise we would have been screwed. I like to wing it too, but sometimes it doesn't work out and it's great to see those moments as well. You're a legend, from one Steve to another!
You are such a sweet soul. Praying for you Steve! May God bless you and bring you comfort.
Came for camping, stayed for the tornado. This was pretty fkn cool.
We divert you from your regular programming. This is all fine, Steve. If it takes you out of your comfort zone then we WILL watch you Steve.
and he's trying new things🤣🤣🤣

Glad you are BACK!
GOD BLESS YOU!
I love seeing Steve do stuff. I'll probably never get to do this, but I can live the experience through him.
A wonderful tribute to your wife, doing something that you are both interested in. Love storms! They are a part of being out in nature.
Steve took a break AND CAME BACK WITH UNBELIEVABLE CONTENT
😅 cheers
You are an inspiration to all the people who have lost loved ones. I lost my mother in April and your videos were one of her favorite things. Thank you Steve.
Thank you Steve. I hope you continue doing what you need to do for you.
No one’s gonna say anything about that horrifying motel? 😂 Anyways I love storm chasing! This was super cool!!! 💜
That place come with bed bugs too?? I give you extra kudos, Steve, for hunkering down in that place! I might have just slept in the car.
@@vicstertv8377or in the bathtub.
Love love love the motel.
That hallway wall was more crooked than American politics.
Oh! I forgot I was going to mention that! Good grief...there is no way I would even enter that building. I would take my chances in the vehicle. I kept looking for bugs on the wall or worse... I can't even imagine climbing in that bed.
New Saga? LES GOOO!!! Wish everyone watching the best :D We all know we would be happy just watching Steve talk to a walk if thats all we could get lol
I wish you well too my friend
#Truth #AGREED ❤
The BEST of both worlds, camping AND storm chasing! Go Steve!
Sending a warm smile and warm sunshine your way, no need to explain...
Thank you Steve for another great video. We will be here so no need to apologize for any lack of the hard weekly schedule. Take the time you need. Sending love and appreciation for you
Much appreciated, Gregory! Very grateful for the patience of you and everyone. Take care :)
You wanted to bring camping back to the masses, it worked! Congratulations, everyone is camping again! Thanks for the adventure!
Yea, Steve made camping look like so much fun, now he can't find a spot to camp. It's because so many people are camping now. It's his own fault. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. It's good to see Steve adapt and overcome with new/different adventures. He should continue to stealth camp when he can find a place. But I'm sure there aren't too many stealth camping situations left that Steve hasn't done already. It's a good time for the channel to transition, yet still appeal to the subscribers.
Steve is such a humbling guy, i think you could post whatever you want on the channel and we would all be here to support you, keep it up and keep hunkering down!
Yes! Im all about the adventures with Steve! It aint just camping no more!
Storm Chasing with Steve! Nifty experience, thank you for sharing it with us!
good to see you back again steve! we love you!
What a change! I'm only 3 minutes in with buddy explaining the route/chase. What a guy to have lead you, sounds extremely knowledgeable!! Excited to see the rest of this one!!
I think I know why you couldn't find a spot to camp. A guy named Steve made camping so popular that EVERYONE is looking for a place to hunker down. You did it to yourself! BTW, as a resident of Tennessee I have lived through a couple of tornados, and I can tell you they are a lot more fun to watch on my computer than they are to see live and in person!
hey neighbor lol, i was thinking the same thing about camps being full. he should come down here and camp and see some of the ones we get. of course i'm a stand on the porch and wait for it to get close kind of person lol.
To bad he"s getting away from it now
You don’t have to just camp on your channel! I watch you because I enjoy you as a person:) I think almost everyone would agree!
Yeah, this a cool format. I like it. Stuff with Steve.
Storm chasing steve, I love it, I try to do a lot of storm chasing myself, it’s a fun hobby for those who love Mother Nature so this is so awesome.
Take all the time in-between needed 💯 I'ma stay coming back anytime I see a video posted. Hears to healing one day at a time 🙏
I love Steve's sense of adventure and quiet, self-deprecating humour. Storm-chasing looks like a lot of effort with no guarantee of a happy ending, but the adrenalin high along the way makes it all worthwhile. He's out there, in the world, having the experience. If that isn't the meaning to life, I don't know what is.
Love the rainbow interjection; it was like Mother Nature making her statement: "I can be cruel, but I can be kind too."
Or maybe, beautiful wife showing her approval.
@@steverogers2603 Felt the same. ❤️
Sometimes a person in the background is in the forefront of your thoughts and heart.

You make Canada proud man! My son has you ranked just under Terry Fox as a true Canadian hero! :) Love your videos, and everything about you Steve! You are a treasure! :)
What a wonderful way to honor your beautiful wife, by doing something that was on your joint bucket list. There’s no doubt that is exactly what she would want you to do! And as much as I enjoy your stealth camping videos, watching storm chasing is another one of my interests. So when I saw your name associated with storm chasing, I knew this was going to be a great video! And it did not disappoint! 😊
You can shove a camera in my face anytime!🤣 Life can definitely deal some hard blows, but the fact that you keep on being YOU gives me faith in the human condition, and a yearning for all of us to be able to do the same. Keep doing what you love- and we’ll keep watching and supporting you however we can.
Steve, you returned just in time to chase away the various storm clouds in my mind that had been festering and towering the whole day. I can't appreciate enough the thing you do for so many people.
You're the best, Steve! Thanks for taking us along!! 😛👍 You've got more viewers than CNN! Wrap your head around that!! Congrats.
