Great build!! I thought I was the only one to add grade 8 bolts to a vfd. Also I added the zoku chassis to my phoenix portal kit and it runs circles around anything. If you find yourself in sl,ut let’s go trail!
I’ve got three Phoenix based rigs….went all out on my vs-410 builders kit …other than full droop I’ve built mine with all the functions available …….my Falken and Fordyce and pretty stock other than wheels/tire upgrade…love the vanquish line …easily built into very capable rigs. I also have a scx10 pro that’s nicely modded and recently acquired a VRD carbon that I finished a few days ago without many mods at all. I’ll have to say the VRD has a slight edge over the pro even with the mods to the pro…..the turning radius on some of these vanquish rigs are incredible….but I haven’t compared them to any of my axial or Traxxas rigs yet.
@@chrish9502 don’t get me wrong….i love my Phoenix , Pro and ultra rigs…I have them more set up as performance trail crawlers vs comp style crawler like the VRD
@@rcvurooom8837 I built my 410 because I don’t like RTR’s. And in my local area people are selling their TRX4’s and buying the RTR 410 because they’ve seen what my LCG 410 and my buddy’s stock RTR 410 can do
Box stock, the TRX4 Sport and the VS4-10 are pretty close in performance. The VS4-10 though is at a much better level though in terms of quality and options. Portals and straight axles and Dig and Overdrive are excellent tools for the enthusiast.
A TRX4 Sport, set up with these tires, ride height and little brass is a very close match. And I give the edge to the Sport due to better steering radius, lower weight and axle/portal clearances. Takes nothing away from the Vanquish since both are a couple of the best around.

Thanks for bringing this to us, another amazing build💪
That’s pretty nice build.. just finished my vs4-10 portal build kit also… Man i wish i could post a photo here.

How does the vrd compare to your other vs4-10s?
@@chrish9502 the VRD is noticeably much better at harder obstacles than my 4-10s…..all my 4-10s have good upgraded parts and power trains also.
@@markcole6475 dang making this hard lol. I love the way the old vs4-10 origin cabs look but want the performance of a vrd

Some killer rigs!!! Where did you get the Toyota tail gate!!!🤘🤘🤘
Cool I might do a crawler project next year love the creativity 🔥👍🏽💯💪🏾
Thanks. It’s super fun when your pals gave the same rig. We push each other while having fun trying to do the same lines
How low can you go ! That's how I like em
Unless I miss understand your comment about running circles around the TRX4 but my Zoku LCG runs circles around all the TRX4’s in my area
I’ll take the VP over a TRX4, but that’s my view versus Francis. He may be think box stock. I’ll let him chime in.

Let’s get it “Tuan Vu”
Let’s get it🎉
Do you have a running video of these?
Please let me know what wheel and tires are these. I’m new to this, I want to buy them.
Two incredible builds but the LCG is my favourite great inspiration for my fms fj40 build 🔥🤌🏻
Where did he get the brass knuckles I can’t find them on hot racing
What size traxxas shocks are those? Maybe a traxxas item number, would like to try it. 😊
Here you go. Traxxas big bore alnk.to/9xhI7Vk
Where do you get the toyota grills? I have a printer!
Nice 👍🏾
Are the shocks (plus those springs) the only requirement to get it that low?
what springs are you using and oil weight?
Best hobby
Do you have a link for the mirrors?
FABRATS has a real FJ45
Rad
👏🏻🔥🔥🔥🇧🇷
What cargo net is that??
You think it doesn't outperform a trx4?? Hilarious 🤣🤣
I'm sorry..you lost me at not running circles around a trx4 lol . I have both and the vanquish definitely crushes the trx4
