Congradulations to you both on your new bundle! Rice water helped my postpartum hair loss and now that I'm into herbal care, fenugreek and rosemary are a dream!
Congratulations on your new Little Lamb Dr. Nina! Yes, I did miss you. I was just saying to myself, "I wonder how Doc is doing." Thank you for providing us with AWESOME content.
Soo glad you and your baby are well! Congratulations ✨💗✨ 41yr mom of a 22 & 10 month old! Been through post partum shedding and losing my edges 2x’s in the last YEAR! Everyone is telling me how great my hair looks and little do they know! I’m ready to big chop! Also still nursing for the youngest and hoping for a turn around with my hair! Good luck to you on your post Partum journey 💗
Thank you for this!! First of all congrats to your babies! I’m 37 with a 23 month old and we are about to have another! I love to see “older” (🤪🙄😂💕) mommies! My hair fell the heck out-… like 50% of it- after I stopped breastfeeding. Anyway, keep on keeping on!
This is good to hear I'm 40 trying to convince. I'm in my 2nd two week wait using frozen donor sperm. I can't rest for another 10 days😫😩 so I'm binge watching videos
Girl, this postpartum hair shedding is no joke. I thought it was a myth until I hit 3 months postpartum and my hair was coming out in clumps 😢. My daughter is 4 months old now. I think you just have to wait until the hormones balance themselves. I still take my prenatal vitamins, liquid biotin and do weekly hot oil treatments with castor oil. Praying my hair grows back fast.
Did it get better??My daughter is 4months now and Ive been shedding a ridiculous amount for about a month straight :( I'm exclusively breastfeeding and scared that it will continue for as long as I keep breastfeeding her
Yo Yo Yo Yo Yooooo!! Been rockin with you for 13 years. So happy for your journey sistah woman, now Dr. Hervey now mama Hervey. Really appreciate your consist candor, vulnerability and strength. Congrats on everything!!!❤
Good to see you and your adorable baby girl. My issue was menopause. My scalp was analyzed by an esthetician and treated to clear and activate hair follicles. She suggested natural powders to correct internal issues, lots of water, and suggested I do easy, simple, non tight natural hair styles. My hair is flourishing!
Dr Nina, Hunter is the cutest little girl 🎉 she looks happy, so keep smiling at her. I stopped coloring my gray hair during pandemic so I was losing a lot of hair. I started a powdered multi collagen that is bovine grass fed. It helped and slowed down the shedding. Plus I use the black Jamaican Castor oil on my edges also. My hair is below my shoulders now.
I see a dermatologist and use prescription ketoconazole shampoo twice a week and a prescription hair oil called fluocinolone. I have CCC alopecia. My hair has really come back since doing this.
Hello Dr. Nina, Happy Easter day to you. Congrats again for the birth of your precious cute baby. Im trusting God for my own miracle someday. Your glowing and blended popping skin distracted me from listening to what you are saying and I will watch this again.
Hi Dr. Nina! Yes the edge are THIN! 😂 But they’re growing back since I have been taking iron. My I found out my iron runs low. So I have to make sure I keep taking my supplements. Thank you for this video❤
For me, I was very low on iron and vitamin D. I take supplements to address this and collagen. Also I am eating more eggs. I noticed you have very thick eyebrows, I would like to thicken mine, they are disappearing, any tips you can give would be appreciated.
Thx for sharing your experience. I went through postpartum shedding years ago and recently hormonal and stress related shedding. It was the worse. I ended up cutting it all off. Thankfully it’s growing back. I had to get rid of the stress and make dietary changes. So far it’s working. Please do a video on what you eat in a day. I’d be interested in seeing that. By the way congratulations to you and your hubby on your precious little bundle of joy! Baby bottle 🍼 🎉❤👍🏽
I think braids are the worst style you can have during pregnancy and the postpartum period. We all get them for the convenience during this new life experience but I just think with all the hormonal changes and nutrition deficits that you can suffer from, having the extra tension on the strands proves detrimental every time. Plus you are busy with new baby and often neglect going the extra mile with things like hair moisturizing. I did the same had faux loc during birth and after but definitely had NO EDGES when I took them down
Omg it’s been years since I’ve been on this channel I see the 1 mil that makes me so happy for her!!
Congradulations to you both on your new bundle! Rice water helped my postpartum hair loss and now that I'm into herbal care, fenugreek and rosemary are a dream!
She is Beautiful!! Congratulations again!!

Omg postpartum hair loss is the worst. I’m experiencing right now my jellybean is 12 weeks and these edges are done for.
I'm going through postpartum shedding as well but lost my baby last month when I was 5 and a half months pregnant so it really doesn't seem fair.
I am so sorry for both of your losses. 😢🙏🏾
I just hit 3 months pp and Lord my edges 🥹.. My hair is locd.
