Of course, it's very much possible to get your hairs back as healthy as they use to be before. However, you need to closely obey some rules. Rule #1 - Upon waking up early in the morning, drink at least 1 glass of warm water. Rule #2 - You should massage your nails, known as balayam. Rule #3 - Apply reactivate serum by liitllextra daily. Rule #4 - During each weekend, get curd from a market and mix half a lemon in it, keep it overnight. Apply this next morning to your scalp Rule #5 - Don't apply oil to your hairs during daytime, as there is too much pollution and dust outside. Using oil can cause dust to linger on your hair for an extended period Adopting these 5 rules as habits can promote hair growth and enhance the strength and thickness of your hair.
Becoming a new mother brought great joy into my life, but it also brought its set of challenges, one of which was losing hair after childbirth. It was a journey filled with moments of doubt but I'm glad to share that I found some effective tips to prevent my hairfall. Postpartum life can be filled with stress, and that stress can contribute to hair fall. I introduced yoga and meditation into my daily routine, which not only reduced stress but also improved my total well-being. As a new mom, it's simple to forget about yourself. However, self-care is very important. I made sure to get enough sleep, stay hydrated, and eat a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals. I can say it is important to massage your scalp with organic hair oil. I made this included in my weekly routine, and it made a noticeable difference in the health and texture of my hair. Switching to a mild and sulfate-free shampoo was a big improvement. It helped me maintain the existing oils in my hair and prevented further damage. For shampoo and oil, I used litttleextra cococonion only as it's not harsh. Perhaps the most important aspect of my journey was being patient. Hair fall is a natural part of the postpartum process, and it takes time for your body to get back to normal. With time, my hair started to regain its former glory. Stay positive, stay patient, and remember that you're lovely, outside and inside.
Thank you so much for this video!! I was struggling with hair loss and I was feeling really down about my significant hair loss after my second child this really gave me confidence it will come back 😊
Omg this video has answered my doubts and questions about my hair loss! I’ve been experiencing really bad hair loss after my postpartum period which has been 2 years now and I’ve tried almost everything including supplements and oils, but this helped explain what has been stressing me out for a while. Thank you so much!
Hi Dr. Ellis, I loved your story! I’m 22 and have been experiencing hair loss for about 4 years and I recently went to a dermatologist who prescribed me spironolactone. Do you think this is effective/a good idea? Do you have any other suggestions for me? It would be greatly appreciated! I’m a fan of your videos :)
Wow, I feel like I finally found an answer to my hair loss after 7 years! When I was 21 I lost some weight rapidly due to stress and 3 months later I had REALLY bad telegenic effluvium. I had unfortunately had TE a few years prior so I knew it would eventually correct itself. However, the hair never grew back! It’s been 7 years and my hair density is seriously like 50% of what it was prior to that bout of TE. I’ve done literally everything to try and get it to grow back but it never has. I still cry about it now and then because hair used to be my favorite thing about myself. I’ve given up hope that it will ever grow back thick and full again since 7 yrs is a long time and I’ll bet the follicles are dead now. But at least I have an answer finally.
Great info as always Doc! Since minoxidil is a no-no during pregnancy, and ideally should be avoided during lactation, it is great you gave us four alternative product options. I looked at the evidence on IRestore and was interested in buying one...but the price was too steep. However, what I totally missed, but you brought to my attention, is that IRestore is offering a 12 month money back guarantee. With that in mind I think I am going to take the plunge and make the purchase. After all, what do I have to lose if I don't get the results I want? Just some hair I was going to lose anyway!
Yes! What is so bothersome is that my hair has become thin and having long hair that is now thinner has become unattractive for myself. I refuse to cut it and in hope that i can stimulate the hair that "pooped" out growing! Thank you!
I’ve tried using monoxidal along with my I Restore unit but, I don’t like the way it makes my hair feel. Is there anything else that is just as effective? Or can you make a suggestion about how I could use the Monoxidal and another way that might not alter the way my hair feels. Thank you. I really love your videos
Can you please do a video exclusively focusing on prp. I am strongly considering but it seems like everyone has a different recommended amount of shots, and waiting period in between sessions. I’m confused!!
You bet. It’s confusing for sure because there are different PRP systems that different offices use, and there isn’t a consistent approach even within the scientific literature regarding frequency, amounts, distribution, etc. which can make it an even more challenging treatment to navigate.
My derm said I have FPL exacerbated by TE. Had TE after a surgery and it never grew back. I am using menoxidil and ketoconozale shampoo. I may consider the laser helmet.
Exact same situation! Going through my second round of TE almost 5 years later and my derm thinks it’s revealed FPL. Just started minoxidil and Finasteride. Seriously considering purchasing the iRestore myself but still not quite ready to pull the trigger. Just wanted to send some good juju your way! I sincerely hope your whatever treatments you use are successful!
Sorry my ipad is playing up i ment to say the best shampoo is kerastase DENSIFIQUE baine densite and nioxin massage head with morocan oil and take biotin or inosotol vitamins
I had permimenopausal hair loss and lots of stress. I lost 50% of my hair. I started using irestore a year ago and am finally able to see an improvement. I am still shedding but much less…I have new hair growing all over my scalp…and the hair that didn’t manage to fall out is growing and is half way down my back. It takes at least a year of consistent use to see the benefits.
I actually think I escaped the PP hair loss. My hair had gotten so long and there was a lot of shedding for sure but it didn't feel like anything more than normal; I've always found to shed quite a bit when my hair is super long. My husband may beg to differ with how often he had to clean the shower drain but I recently had a haircut (finally!) and the stylist commented on even though my hair is thin, I have a lot of it.
I've got AGA only noticed it properly since having my baby. ☹️. Its making me so upset. I don't feel alone since watching this video. I might try vegamour
Dear Dr. Ellis. I know your far far far from menopause. Mine started early at age 44 and I’m experiencing lots of hair loss when I shampoo and condition my hair in the shower and I was wondering if even though postpartum and menopause are two separate things are they kind of similar with the hair loss thing ?
Thanks so much for this video! How do you feel about coloring hair in the second trimester? My OB said it was ok, but I’ve read online that it can potentially be harmful. Thank you!
Thank you for an informative video especially when discussing prevention. Can BCPs trigger FPHL? eg those older generation high-androgen index pills especially in someone who is genetically predisposed to androgen sensitivity
I pray that you won’t experience it, especially with your beautiful hair! I lost almost half with my 2nd (I also had Covid while giving birth so that possibly made it worse). It was especially awful in the front, around my hairline. My hairline went back 2-3 inches. A year later, I finally have small hairs coming through. I am now pregnant with my 3rd and I am definitely trying the spray you used and will try this light therapy!
Congrats on the pregnancy! And so happy you’re seeing new growth. I’ve seen so many patients in my office who have had extreme hair loss after Covid so you’re not alone!
The next trampil is NIOXINE and the next berat is kesasar DENSIFIQUE BAINE DENSITE and maraga morocon oil on the scalp for 10__15 minutes with your head down
I'm 42 now and I've been battling hair loss since I was 26. I don't know how many bottles of minoxidil I've used. I also hate the fact that I can't get off it if I want to maintain whatever is left on my head 😩 And it's one of the reasons I'm childless... but that's a story for another day lol One question if I may... Is an incredibly itchy scalp a symptom of female pattern hair loss? I've had that way before I started using minoxidil and, I have to tell you, some days I feel like setting my head on fire just so I can get some relief! Anyway, apologies for the lengthy message. Thank you for your videos and for the knowledge you share with us. Greetings from Athens, Greece ❤️
Scalp itch can be from the minoxidil itself but can also be associated with many other scalp conditions (but not female pattern hair loss). You may have something else going on too that is affecting your scalp (but not necessarily contributing to the hair loss).
@@DrSamEllis thank you so much for the reply. I've consulted many dermatologists about this in the past, but they all tell me it is due to stress. Not a very satisfactory "explanation" if you ask me... Thanks again!
My hair never recovered after delivering my twins and breast feeding, now in my late fifties my hair is very thin at the crown. Is it too late to try the treatments you suggest? Thank you for the advise.
Dr Ellis, is it true that all these treatments must be used for life? If you quit using any of them, I understand that you will lose all the hair you gained. Is that true?
My hair loss is either Hashimoto's or Menopause or a combo. I just started minoxidil but am only using it once a day so I'm not hopeful. 🤷♀️ I would use it in the am, but the stuff is so messy.
Other dermatologist that have reviewed this product are saying that it doesn't help certain types of hair loss specifically including Telogen effluvium. What should we believe? 🤔
How does kerafactor scalp solution alone or keralase treatments compare to PRP treatments? I am seeing more dermatology offices offer keralase treatments for hair loss. Are keralase treatments safe during breastfeeding?
Disappointed that this was just ANOTHER advertisement for irestore. Hairloss is an incredibly distressing experience of which many people cant afford to buy an expensive gimmick. Unsubbed.
My hair just doesn't grow hardly at all and it's breaking off my sister has the same problem her hair is very very fine too and it don't grow this is done this almost all my life will this work and why is that happen
I am currently 7 weeks with my first. I noticed a couple weeks ago my hairline has gone back quite a lot :( especially on the sides. It’s so noticeable now when I put it up in a pony. I hope it doesn’t keep going!! Any advice on this? Pretty upsetting
I didn't have a baby but i just seen your other video on hair loss. Im losing my hair all over the place like even my baby hair ugh and ive always had thin hair but not like this. This reactivate hair grow serum is a essential for anyone experiencing thinning hair.
My hair growth is increasing following each few weeks. I just apply Reactivate hair serum currently and do cocooniooon oil hair massage weekly.
Washing my hair 2 times a week with cocoonioon shampoo and using reactivate serum every night all 7 days a week helped me grow hair
I have irestore and it works! I’m 52 and use it due to menopausal issues
Stopped coloring my hair and now it’s growing back thicker and stronger , although grey!
