Justin gets me through my nights when I can't sleep with pain and Insomea He helps put me to sleep with his nice calming voice and like he says the crackle is your friend so so right thank you Justin I will never forget you Bear and Saku love Kathy 💗
I have been a long time admirer of your bushcraft skills but I am in awe of the time, energy and creativity required to hump your video equipment, set up your scenes, shoot then return to reclaim the gear and THEN proceed to move forward....I am also flat out envious of all those skills.
My Dad gave me his Algonquin snowshoes (made in 1957) when I was 10 years old (1964). I used them a lot and in 1973 or 74, I wore out some of the babiches on one shoe. I re-strung it in the bush with yellow plastic coated blasting wire to make due. I still use these snowshoes up till now, and it still has that yellow wire on it. I've had them for 57 years, and they still keep me afloat on the snow. The yellow wire gives it a character of its own.
Hey Justin.... I'm on the graveyard shift in work all alone..... Thanks for saving my braincells with yet another brilliant video😁.... Keep it going man👍👍
Aww thanks Justin sure hope there is more videos comin Epic views from the top of the hill ,so gorgeous looking over the rivers lakes, Mealy Mountains. true wilderness. The moon was gorgeous for two nights bet it was much better to be there. these would be memories id never forget. have to love the wilderness. ouch man your figure looks sore hope it heals well what a misshape very cool that the Indigenous folks know your out there and popped around to check on you on their way back home . Really enjoyed this series .
Exciting times out in the big land you’re doing the right thing doing while you can and don’t wait till retirement most retirement is in no heath by then never happens she’s melting quick buddy
Just three words.....you lucky bugger! Easy for me to say but Hey, I know you loved it.....more than Bear, the Madam of the North! Another great vid as always. Thanks from Out of Country. Saku missed a good one this trip.
Loved to see the hockey tape come to good use. It's all about the ability to see multiple uses of something, and most people don't even know what hockey tape is. For a lot of purposes it's so much better than duct tape given how hardy it is to just pure abuse. It's meant to be bashed around on the ice so it has to be. Duct tape just cannot compare in that regard. Personally I use it for certain areas of a bicycle I use all year round, and it's stayed on for years now without issues. I can recommend carrying it in a ziplock bag though because it is a bit messy and smelly lol
You're truly a lucky man to be able to explore these desolate places.. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you. I can only dream of such adventures..
Having snowshoed in short distances in the different snow conditions that you encountered , i am sure that you didn’t have to count the sheep to fall asleep at night. Lol!! That was a demanding outing my friend.CONGRATULATIONS!
We realized last night watching this that you made this trip before you were married and before a lot of other health changes in mobility. We hope all has been well with you and Heather and that you can continue adventuring!!!!
I love how bear rolls around in the snow… gives me a much needed chuckle! And the missing wiper!!!! Omg yes I guess it could be worse but somehow it reappeared! Would have liked to see saku’s reaction when u guys got back!! Missed ‘im
I think you got Viking blood running through your veins, you're a natural northern Explorer! This has very quickly become my favorite channel. I pray the good Lord continues to bless, strengthen and and open the narrow paths for you!☝️🙏👉💪💯👍
i agree with you, i am very proud of Bear. i don`t know how old she is i`m guessing 7. Whatever it is, she really fought her way through. I`m going to take a chance in believing that she is already a champion in training. GO BEARS!!! LOL
Hello Justin! As another long time follower I should know your dedication by now, but, I still have remind myself of all the extra effort involved in recording, caring for your dog, and keeping a cool mind! We truly appreciate your efforts and the education we receive.
Gr8 stuff baye,as i lay back here in prague taking in your adventures on our beloved lands..Farley,Horwood and lone Wolf would have loved it no doubt.looking forward to other episodes. Paul
Winter travelling with snowshoe over open country has its advantages over slogging it through bog that's for sure. You have demonstrated that it can be quite comfortable. Note, can be. Bear was certainly in her element. Great trip. Thanks for this.
Enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for Posting. Be interesting to see you guiding the Baird boys on a fishing adventure in the Granite Planet. Cheers..
A good idea to have some galvanized tie wire for repairs also. Comes in handy for making a candle lantern also. Put a candle in a glass jar and rig up a wire handle on it; hang it from your ridgeline in the tent.
Justin, you should add some super glue to your Medical kit. It'll stop the bleeding quick. Depending on the brand, it can sting a bit when you put it on..
I love Bear! She is such a chill and low maintenance dog! I appreciate all of the hard work and expense that went into making these videos. I would suggest carrying a 12 gauge shotgun as opposed to the nifty 410/22 combo. Did someone steal a windshield wiper? Keep making adventure videos Justin!!
I am back from 6 weeks at sea and happy to find Episode 5 & 6. Love to watch your adventures💯. I look forward to watching some more soon. Wishing you and your companions many safe and pleasurable adventures🥰

the only good thing about the end of your video is the anticipation of another great one hopefully to follow. Thanks to you and Bear.....
Great stuff Barbour buddy !
A good idea to have some galvanized tie wire for repairs also. Comes in handy for making a candle lantern also. Put a candle in a glass jar and rig up a wire handle on it; hang it from your ridgeline in the tent.
Wire is handy for sure I had some thanks Andre. Although I don't carry glass jars on long trips not the lightest or most packable! All the best buddy
Another incredible video,Thanks for taking us along.

What an incredible accomplishment to do that kind of trip on your own with a dog partner. Your the real deal.
Justin, you should add some super glue to your Medical kit. It'll stop the bleeding quick. Depending on the brand, it can sting a bit when you put it on..
Great episode, always interesting. loved the inclusion of the flute music you played too.
