Hi Justin, I wanted to become a super fan and I filled out the correct paperwork to make the yearly contribution and my credit union rejected it, so I sent you money via PayPal. I sent it on 1-20-23 for $154.03 Canadian. Please confirm if you received it. My hubby and I love your content and I hope it was ok to put it here in this chat. Cheers, Clara (Jody) Reay.
@@jodyreay733 Hi Jody and Clara I did receive it. Thanks so much for the extra support. It goes a long way in fueling upcoming expeditions, films and books. Plenty more to come. And sorry about your Patreon issues. I'm not sure what happened there. That's the first time in 3 years since I started Patreon that I have been made aware of a supporter being rejected trying to use that platform. I'll look into it. But regardless of whether it's Patreon or PayPal it all helps the same way. Thanks again and best wishes to you both! Justin
Saku, mans best friend, mine was a Black Lab called Archie. We got tipped in our canoe I recovered the gear got it back to the campsite and guess what, he'd swam downstream recovered my hat and brought it back to the camp.
Saku must have been pretty amazing in a previous life, 'cause he seems to have hit the jackpot in this one. I doubt there is anything more rewarding for a dog than adventuring through the wilderness with his human, and it's a pretty good deal for the human as well :-) We live in amazing times - we have tech that helps make your adventures possible, and that makes sharing them possible. Thanks for sharing.
It's hard to believe that a 3 yr old pup has more time in the bush then most adults funny and a shame but I agree that's a happy pup and lives the good life
Justin, just ran across your channel last night. Great videos brother! You, Jim Baird, Joe Robinet, Bearded Woodsman, One Wildcrafter, and Shawn James really do show the true justice, majesty and beauty of the Northern Wilderness. You guys are my favorite Canadians by far! You have a new subscriber, and I can't wait to see your future endeavors and adventures into the wild! Be safe. Keep a goin!!! AJ Savannah, Ga, USA

So good that you pushed through with Saku and whatever issue he was having with those fish. He'll be okay because you were both persistent and patient. You are good, yes gifted with canines my friend.
Man buddy. You make me miss home so much. I only got two more years in the military until I am able to retire but your videos makes me want to pull the plug on this gig and head home. Man that fish fry made me miss home too. Great video brother.
Love to watch your videos. Saku is a joy to watch. He must be a lot of company on your trips. Unless you both end up going into really cold lake while trying to fish!
There are many of us who enjoy the remote outdoors as you do, Justin. But you’ve got a way with videography. Thank you for unselfishly sharing your edits. I’ll add that your portaging skills are not to be overlooked!
Brilliant Justin as per usual , Saku is great, grew up with 2 black labs and 1 x golden lab, fantastic companions and don't they just love water. Looking forward to next episode thanks buddy.
You and Sak should in the fall go for a trip up on the mountains hunting rockers(partridge)and show everyone the priceless view looking down. Love your videos.
The videos keep getting better! Love your camera work with the closeups of the surrounding landscape and the music is wicked. Saku is a great pup, likes his trout.
Such a relaxing watch Justin. I live in Poland and where I live there is plenty of wildlife in the local area forests and its so nice to see them. I hope all is well with you and your family and Saku and Bear.
Hey Justin another class video with your buddy Saku. The beautiful NL. Wilderness. You made Joshua's day with the shout out:) Much appreciated. Look forward to more of your amazing travels. Stay safe.
I'm from Ireland and have always dreamed, since I was a boy, of going to Labrador.Thought your series was brilliant and honest. Enjoying your other vids too. Maybe someday!!! Keep up the good work.
Great video! Saku is one hell of a good dog! Looking forward to part 2. Landed a couple nice big mouth bass myself last week on vacation. What a trip it was! I hope you enjoy your up coming vacation. Travel safe.
I love your documentaries, and yes they really are of documentary quality, I love how you show everything, the hardships as well as the triumphs. Looking forward to the next part.
As a new subscriber, I have the fortune of binge watching your backlog 😁 I'm really not sure most people understand how rough that terrain is! You and Saku are hardcore man, I bet you would kick Bear Grills ass! Respect
Another excellent watch there Justin buddy 👍🏻 really enjoyed that and looking forward to the second part. That moose sighting was awsome too btw 👌🏻👏🏻 cheers, Matt
I have never owned a cape shore dog but have had 3 black labs. Saku and the fish blame the lab genetics! Lol one of my boys was a fish crazed dog. He’s such a good boy though ❤ he’s made out to be a great sidekick to you. I couldn’t imagine life without a fur kid or two!
Keep the awesome videos coming Justin. They keep me going when I'm travelling all over the globe for work when I'm missing my weekends out in the mountains and woodlands in the UK 🇬🇧 - atb
up to 20k subs good work with the quality you put out you will grow fast. I tell everybody about your channel, cable T.V is dead and content like yours is killing it.
HI Justin, the RUclips algorithm suggested you channel. It's great, and I've binge watched a bunch of videos. A thought on getting more out of you fish is seeing if Saku is partial to the guts fried. No bones in them, so no choking hazard, cooking would deal with any parasites, and I suspect he'd find the flavour just fine. Being freshwater fish, there isn't any risk of poisoning of any sort either.
Really enjoyed seeing this trip. About your dog; he’s not taught to turn off when seeing things thrown. Steadiness training is required and also, everything thrown is not necessarily for him. It requires consistency and a standard of communication.
24:10. Was worth the video. I’m sorry but it was a little funny. Nice trout! Sak is a good boy! And a big boy too. I almost thought one or both of you were heading into the drink. Nice place! Beautiful Country! Thanks for bring me along. It’s always a pleasure watching. Thank you!
great trip you and saku are on, nice trout they are the good eating ones for sure. at the end there that's was awesome to see the fire in front of the tent. a awesome picture for sure. see you on the next one
Wow, what a great adventure! Just found your awesome channel and of course subbed. Really looking forward to part 2! Thanks once again for taking us along. Take care, Steve. 👍👍
And what a feast that was Justin! Looked delicious. Had fresh trout (caught by myself the weekend) yesterday with mashed spuds and green beans... tastes better in the woods though... Can't wait for part 2! Thanks again, Boggyman
Great job with your videos, man. .. love them. I used to get dropped off in behind Gander at Boot pond with my 15 foot Coleman -canoe & my Black Lab. I do Boot pond, home pond, Gull pond, Southwest pond, southwest steady's, Long pond, round pond, and finish at Traverse pond. I have my truck park there waiting for me...lol. Lots of wild life and great fishing. To take it all in you'll need 2 or 3 nights to do it. In NS now, but before this Covid hit I go home 3 or 4 times a year just to get back in at it.... eh by'e. Keep Da vids coming...!!
I had to LOL at your struggles with Saku during your fishing in the pack raft. My 65 lb. poodle (affectionately known as "The Worthless Furbutt") will sit in my packraft with her butt on the side tube and her tail dragging in the water. Makes for exciting fishing...!!
This is awesome Justin! Could you give a shout out to Matthew Posa? He is from the states. He also camps and canoes with his dog ,Monty. He also watches your adventures. :-)
