Fun recommendations. I have loved cozies my entire life. LOL. Guess that is obvious since I can recommend cozies based on "job" of the main character. 😅
I stumbled across them during the pandemic in my public library and I fell in love with them. The first series I read was from Amanda Flower the Magical Bookshop Mystery and all the other series she has.....she became a quick favorite author. I have read many other series I love the fact that there are so many from different perspectives. I building my own library of them. I have read several of the ones you have spoke about from the library and I actually own a few of them too....now I just need to stop going to the library and checking out books and to the used bookstore when I have plenty TBR piles at my house...😂
Yesss - the second one in that series hasnt been a fav but it was still good. I am still going to continue in the series to see what I think. I hear the next ones are good! Thank you friend!
Ok I love these cozies, especially the Campers and Criminals series!!! I have been wanting to check out both the Bubble Tea and 12 Slays of Christmas series! But I also looove your accent! I just moved away from home for Alabama to Texas for grad school, and you sound just like my momma and sister and this felt like being on FaceTime with them talking books! 🤣
We love a good cozy over here! 👏 My top favorites right now are Buried in a Good Book by Tamara Berry and Crime & Poetry by Amanda Flower. 💛 Of the ones you mentioned, I have Apple Cider Slaying on my TBR. Read Live and Let Chai and gave it 3 stars.
Great video Amanda 🥰 I am enjoying the Laurie Cass Book Mobile Series I've read first two and there are over 10...lol I am going to try a series about a pizza shop called Deep Dish Mysteries I cant remember the author on that on though. I want to read it before summer is over.
So many good recommendations! I grew up reading Nancy Drew, so why I don’t read cozies now, I don’t know but I want to. I especially want to read the Gone to the Dogs books.
I picked up Apple Cider Slaying a few weeks ago, but I'm trying to save it for a seasonal read. Now I need to pick up Gone to the Dogs series- sounds fantastic!! That bookish themed series sounds perfect, too. I have started so many cozy mystery series, though, and really need to finish some. 😂I'll probably just keep starting more because I have book issues and a strange obsession with cozy covers. They are just so cute!!!
Amanda, you should do a video recommending clean fantasy romance if you’ve read enough! I have a hard time finding recommendations from other booktubers and it’s a genre that I’m looking to try out. Same with clean manga
Thanks girl! I havent read a ton but some I can tell you I enjoyed were Wishtress by Nadine Brandes and Resistance by Jaye L. Knight. My friends Celestria and Lovely Day with Holly love clean fantasy and have some great rec videos if you haven't checked them out. I want to read more fantasy though for sure. I haven't read much manga, need to read more! Used to love Sailor moon back in the day when I was young, but can't remember exactly the cleanliness of it. I think there were some aspects that wouldn't necessarily be ideal today.
Hope you give Paige Shelton another chance. I think you'll like the way things evolve. Have you ever read any of the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency? Not much in the romance department, but a peek into life in Botswana and lyrical writing. Looks like the South and we in the Almost South will be getting a quick respite from intense heat. Enjoy! 🌻❤️
I love cozy mysteries, too! (If I write them, I better love them!) I just picked up The Case of the Llama Raising Librarian by Debbie De Louise. With a title like that, I had to give it a read!
I have never read a cozy mystery. Can you believe it? So, I’m going to try a few this Fall. 🍁 I’m not sure which ones yet, but I definitely want a little romance in them.☺️
I enjoyed Apple Cider Slaying. I read all three in the series. The third was acrually my favorite. I loved the small town and the family elements of them. I'm not usually a mystery reader, but I often enjoy them when I do read them. I don't know why I don't grab for them more often?? 🤔😂
Hi I'm a guy but I like cozy mysteries , Christian fiction, and biblical fiction love your videos and it helps me find new books 😁 thanks be blessed i do audiobooks and e books easier for me 😁
You mentioned some of my favorites - The Cider Shop Mysteries, Seaside Cafe Mysteries and Christmas Tree Farm Mysteries. I tried the Royal Spyness series, but the innuendos and language were too much for me. Most of the rest you mentioned are on my TBR! Some others that I have enjoyed are the Murder, She Wrote series, The Mystery BookShop series by V.M. (Valerie) Burns, Daisy's Tea Garden mysteries by Karen Rose Smith, the Island Sisters Mysteries by Hannah Dennison, the Shake Shop mysteries by Dana Mentink and the Southern Sewing Circle mysteries by Elizabeth Lynn Casey. So many books, so little time... Thanks for the great recommendations!
Love it friend! Yeah, the royal spyness series - Miriam and I have chatted about some things being a bit too much sometimes. I don't know where I will land with the others when I get to them. I will have to check the ones you listed out here!! Thank you friend!!

Unfortunately I don't like cozy mysteries. They are too sweet for me. Not that I like gory details either. Somewhere in between for me.
Thats ok! :) General mysteries are good too!
