It really is! The historical timeline was much more interesting to all of us that did the group read. The contemporary one is good too, but "olde" is always better. haha
Yay!!! Glad some one else has read them that I can gush with.✨✨✨ They are so cozy, aren't' they? Have you already read them all? If so, which is your favorite?
@@OldeAmericanSpirit I am currently reading A Duchess for the Duke, which is the prequel to the series; it's a novella. I still have to read the final one, Lady Ivy and the Irishman. My favorite is probably the first one, Mr. Gardiner and the Governess. But the second one about the Italian ambassador is a close second.
@@juwanisaac Gotcha!! oooooo, I don't think I realized yet that there was a prequel. Should I continue on with book 3 and 4 and then read the prequel? Yes, Gardiner and Governess was SOO engaging and adorable! I read the two so far on Kindle Unlimited but definitely want to own them so they can continue to make me smile when I see them on the bookshelf! 🌟🌟
I saw on Kindle Kingdom’s Dawn is the first book in the series by Chuck Black, I just want to make sure because I know sometimes they are incorrect about the order they should be read. Great suggestions as always!
YESSS. You are right. I was just telling a friend today - when I realized my blunder - I was actually holding up book 3, not one! Have you read them or wanting to? Awww, thank you SO much. I really appreciate your kindness.✨✨✨
@@OldeAmericanSpirit I have not even heard of them so I’m going to read the first one as soon as I have some time! I just wanted to make sure they didn’t have them out of order!
Yes I agree, great content and recommendations as always 👍♥️ Those Barnes and Noble editions are gorgeous! 😍 And the fact that you were holding them up with one hand! 😮💪 They look so heavy😂 I put 'The Secrets of Pembroke Park on my list 👍 Might have to wait till next year tho 📚📚📚 😂 Your intros 🤌💕 Thank you!
Awww thank you! I hope it was helpful. I’m SO obsessed with the B&N editions, but y’all know that! 😂 They are very heavy! Haha Love Pembroke Park for all the creeeepy! 🐈⬛ 🎃 I love doing the intros… thanks for the encouragement 💙✨
Finally someone besides me is talking about love finds you Sleepy Hollow NY by Gabrielle Meyer, I adored the first story, the second one not as much but still overall good!
Yay - someone that knows about it! I haven't heard a peep from anyone about that series. Just happened to find because I adore the Guideposts series and there are SO many. This one popped up somewhere when I was researching. So was the next one in Wisconsin or ... I can't remember? I haven't read book #1 yet as my Patreon members and I will start it next week together. Are you going to continue the series?
@@OldeAmericanSpirit I’d love to continue the series. I buy a lot of guideposts and Annie’s Fiction which are similar. The next story is ahead 200 years when they’re in the same town if I’m remembering correctly! I think that whole series is on Kindle Unlimited right now! Only Lyndsey from BFCG talks about guideposts as well. But you’re the only one I have seen talk about this one and it was so good!! Yay!!! I adore your channel🥰
I read them last year about this time so it's been a bit but I would say, definitely not as much as book one!!/ since that one included the wedding night and these don't. 🤔 I don't remember it being excessive at all in the Juliet Code even though it's was their honeymoon trip - other than flirting and a few innuendos like 'retiring to their room.' Cairo Curse didn't have as much as book 1 either, but I do remember them being pretty flirty a lot and affectionate in public places when they were alone, and maybe one "cozy" time in their room. I'm not super sensitive to that, though, (long as it stays clean and couple is married), so it doesn't stand out in my memory as being excessive. 😊 💢 Anyone else remember these details that can share??? 💢
I really appreciate your channel, being a born again christian. The Ladies Bible study group at my church; called Women Of The Word, are doing Phillipians this year. Unfortunately I can't go. I had a 2nd total shldr. replacement on the same shldr. and there were serious complications. I am in P.T. My absolute, all time favorite book is Little Women. I collect different versions of it. I am a huge Alcott fan. I have been in Orchard House numerous times as I grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts which is next to Concord. Have many of her bks. and bks. on her life as well as her journals. Julie Klassen is a fantastic writer. Are you aware of Christian Book Distributors in Beverly Massachusetts? They have very good prices, free catalogs. Just got their most recent fiction catalog. Thank you very much. Rev.21:4
Awww, Eileen, that means SO much. Sorry to hear about your shoulder! I'm hosting a Philippians study that starts Monday if you'd like to join us! Little Women is absolutely timeless and such a comfort read for me. Love it too! That's amazing that you've been to Orchard House! I've watched videos of people visiting and it's so quaint! I have ordered from CBD. Thanks for reminding me of them - didn't know they were in Mass. You are from Lexington??? Ahh, my Colonial America-loving heart is in awe. How cool! Julie is one of my modern faves for sure! Thanks for being here and taking the time to chat! 💙💙

Pemberton sounds so good! The Letter of Briarton Park and Hollyhorne House also sound good!
Not sure where my response went, my friend. I'm behind on checking comments. I loved Pemberton for this season. And the other ones are SO cozy to me.

Is there as much sexuality in the Cairo curse and Juliet code as there was in mistletoe countess?
