🔍 I am so excited that you've become a cozy mystery lover! I actually haven't read a lot of the ones you mentioned yet, but I did start the Haunted Library series and really loved the first two! You reminded me that I need to put the next one on my December TBR.
Have you read The Coffeeshop Mystery Series by Cleo Coyle? If not, please check it out. I absolutely LOVED it, especially the earlier books in the series. It takes place in NYC and to me, the combination of the city, a café, baked goods, memorable characters, and a good whodunnit couldn't be any more cozier. ☕🥐❄️
I love cozies! My current favorites are the Meg Langslow series by Donna Andrews, (specifically the audiobooks) and the Witch Way Mysteries series by Angela B. Sanders. I loved In The Company Of Witches but I can see why you didn't. I also love Tamara Berry's books and it's sad there aren't going to be any more of them. Thanks for these recs!
I do a lot of book thrifting and I always pick up the Guideposts and Annie's Fiction cozies! They can only be bought via subscription or their websites but they're so good and Christian based!
I'm not sure how well Richard Ozman's Thursday Murder club fits into the genre but they definitely feel cozy to me. Loved all three, especially the 3rd latest one.
Oh my heart, I was expecting Shady Hollow to be at the bottom, not In The Company of Witches! 😅 I can’t get myself to pick up Shady Hollow but loved In The Company of Witches. I need to pick up your new favorite soon.
Sorry, Tera! 🙈😂 I knew I was gonna step on some toes! Lol But seriously we all have our own favorites, reading tastes are different! That’s why I hope people just pick up whatever sounds good to them regardless of my opinions, because cozies really are just dependent on the reader! I’ve found that I enjoy Bookish cozies the best. ☺️
🧶 ☕️ I really enjoyed Pride Prejudice and Peril by Katie Oliver, and also The Cracked Spine by Paige Shelton. I need to get to A Dark and Stormy Murder soon! I found it at a library sale randomly, so it’s good to know it’s a decent one 😊
Apple Cider Slaying❤ and Live and Let Chai ❤️ Those were some of my first cozy mysteries I read so that may be why I loved them so much! I need to read more 💕💕💕 I think the more I read the more picky I am becoming with them😂
Is the Dark and Stormy Murder series done? On goodreads it looks like it’s been a few years since the last one. Do you know if we at least get an ending?
I love Cozies 😍😍😍 The Haunted Library is one of my favorite series. i recommend the Wishcraft Series by Heather Blake... it gave me I dream of Genie vibes... im halfway through the series. I also love the Witch City Mysteries by Carol J Perry. There are SO many good series out ther.
🛀🕯I haven't read any of those series so I wasn't upset by any of them - but it was really fun to hear you warn people they were about to be upset. LOL I tend to like Jenn McKinlay's series - My favorite is the Hat Shop Mystery series - it's set in London, the main character just makes me laugh sometimes with her antics. The side romance is so good. It's slow, and flirty and has all the good feels. (It's also one that the publisher killed, which has me so, so sad) I also like(d) her library one (Library Lover's) but there's a situation that cropped up in book 3 or 4, that's still here in book 5 and I'm just OVER it. So my enjoyment of this last book I read was considerably less than the previous ones. I will - of COURSE - continue because I have to know how she will resolve it. McKinlay also has a Cupcake Bakery series that was my entry to the genre. I started a new series in September that is around a coffee shop and I really liked it (well, because coffe) and because the main character is an older woman, middle age, kid in college and so it's very relatable for the season of life I'm in. It's the Coffeehouse Mystery
Ohhh adding peaches and scream to my TBR 🥹💞 that’s one I haven’t seen yet! Even tho I did enjoy those lower rated ones, I can absolutely agree with things you said of them!
I know I’m an unpopular opinion on some but we all have different reading tastes! That’s why I kept saying, this is my opinion. 🙈😂 You’ll have to let me know what you think of Peaches and Scream!
I adore Rainwater 🤭🫶🏻 also so surprised buried in a good book got bumped!!! 🫨🤣 but that reasoning makes sense! So disappointing 🥹 I’m still gonna read it tho lol! I also still need to read dark and stormy! Ugh, so many so little time!!!
☕️ I have only started one cozy mystery series, so I will be writing some of these down. I don't know yet if I want to work on a lot of them at once, but we'll see.
Cozies are really hard to recommend to other readers because there are so many different main characters (their ages too), side characters, animal companions, themes, occupations, hobbies, type of romance, etc. So many cozies other readers loved and recommended were just ok for me or I DNF'd and cozies I love other readers have rated very low or DNF'd. Cozies are the main fiction genre I read. I'm also a series binger and I'll say that when you like a cozy and read the whole series one after another you tend to remember the series better than you do when you switch cozies series often. I just love to stay in the series if I'm loving the character, settings, mysteries, romance, etc.😺📚
It's also hard too because some cozies are way too simplistic. I'm not looking for War and Peace but it seems so many cozies are just an insult to my intelligence.

A great list of cozies. Thank you for sharing.🌞
Thank you! That's my favorite genre. I'm going to check out all the ones you recommended :D
I hope you find some you enjoy! 😊
Cozy mystery recs🎉🎉🎉Love it!!! New fav genre yes!

Love the recs! ❤ you mention a few I still need to get 😍
You’ll have to let me know what you think of A Dark and Stormy Murder! And I need to get to Death in Castle Dark for you! 😘
I love 2 hear what book tubers like and don't like.I think we have 99.9% reading taste.
I’ve read the entire Crime & Poetry Series. I didn’t want them to end!
I know I’ll feel the same way! 💛

@@KatieReadsKoziesAndMore Me too!
Sorry, the Witch Way mysteries are by Angela M. Sanders.
I'm so excited you ranked them. you know I was looking froward to this list. Can't wait until you read 15 more.

☕️ Great video sister
I do a lot of book thrifting and I always pick up the Guideposts and Annie's Fiction cozies! They can only be bought via subscription or their websites but they're so good and Christian based!
For some reason, based on the videos that I watch, you exude cozy vibes. 🍁
Love all these suggestions!☕️📖
I love cozy mysteries! Great ranking 💙
Thank you! Cozies are so much fun! ☺️
A good list! Check out the Campers and Criminal series by Tonya Kappes and the Sophie Kimball Mystery series by JC Eaton.
I'm not sure how well Richard Ozman's Thursday Murder club fits into the genre but they definitely feel cozy to me. Loved all three, especially the 3rd latest one.
I own that one! I’ve heard some people call them cozy but I think they fall into the general mystery genre, which I also really enjoy. ☺️

Those are actually written by the same author. She has many pen names, haha.
I love these recommendations 🎉❤❤❤
Thanks, LeaBeth! 🫶
I enjoyed live let chai too but I believe I also only rated it 3 stars. I’m so thankful that you did this video.
Yesss it’s so hard to rank them!
It is because you love them each for different reasons!
Love Kate Carlisle bookbinder series.
Tamara Berry-shocked I thought your bookish life wrapped around Sally Hepworth&Tamara Berry🙂

I’m not sure.

Next Halloween for sure you have to try nine lives and alibis! It’s up there with crime and poetry for me! ❤
Jovi is my fav 😍❤️❤️

It’s so funny because I’ve never been a series girl, but I’m becoming one in the cozy genre! 😆
@@ABookLikeYou Cozy series are delightful reading. I always say they are the candy of books. LOL!

☕️ I forgot that the second book in the Haunted Library Mysteries is a Christmas story!
