I read a book a couple of years ago that was not something I normally would gravitate to and would not recommend. For whatever reason, even though I did not love some things in it, something about the writing grabbed me and made me view how to love people that are not Christians the way we are really supposed to as Christians, if that makes sense. When you were talking about the Colleen Hoover books, I was thinking about that book for me and relating to what you were saying. Books can be so impactful!

This is a great list and such a fun video! Definitely added some to my tbr. My favorite book for this year was The Lady’s Mine by Francine Rivers! It was such a fun book and just what I needed. 🥰

Another Christmas story that I think you will enjoy that is a clean romance is Christmas Eve Love Story by Ginny Baird. Its Christmas Eve but in Groundhogs' Day style.

The Paper Girls tv show is really good. Too bad it only has 1 season though.

Yeah I understand about Sarah Adams, her recent books especially can be more spicy. I loved Cheat Sheet though and the When In Rome and sequel books were really good too!

Honestly I don’t care for the when in Rome series. I LOVE The off Limits Rule & The Cheat Sheet by her! But all others I’ve tried have ended up in the 3 star range I think🤔 But her starting to get more descriptive and now putting open door scenes in her books has really upset me, and I probably won’t pick up anymore of her new ones with the newly added smut😫

I don't blame you for not liking Sarah Adams. I found her writing too bland and too much at the same time. I'm not a fan of big spicy stuff; I just skip right over. I don't need to know about that stuff unless God has me marry a man that will show me instead.
