Yeah, idk where it came from but apparently I do. I think it happened when she started opening the spicy doors but also I’ve noticed she still has pretty cringy innuendos even in her closed door books. 🥴 Just a matter of opinion though! I know so many people love her.
I love your Christmas tree and the Jovi ornaments! ❤🐶🎀🎄 I'm glad my hold didn't come in at the library for Adorning the Dark. So many readers have said the same as you about it. It's not something that would be my cup of tea either. I need to learn something from the non-fiction I read. I've only read one Sarah Adams book The Cheat Sheet and it made me feel uncomfortable even though it was just kissing. Also, it wasn't memorable for me. That's just a personal feeling of mine. I'm picky with books. My favorite reads in October and November are Boulevard of Broken Creams by Sarah Fox, In the Blink of a Pie by Catherine Bruns, I'll Be Home For Mischief by Jacqueline Frost, and Fondue or Die by Korina Moss. These are all the latest books in favorite cozy mystery series that I recommend. I hope you enjoy your December books! 📚🎄🎀(I found a red bow! Yay!)
@ I love her writing style. My favorite series are Pancake House and True Confections but I enjoyed all of them. Added bonus she’s really nice on Instagram! We've had conversations about the cozy mysteries we are reading not just the cozies she writes.
Yeah I understand about Sarah Adams, her recent books especially can be more spicy. I loved Cheat Sheet though and the When In Rome and sequel books were really good too!
I haven’t read Sarah Adams but I know for a fact that the Off Limits Rule is on my tbr because of you! Lol 😅😂 it’s okay though-you’re allowed to have your reading preferences change and evolve!! 🎉
Not that one specifically, but I read half of The Bookshop Around the Corner a few years ago and DNFed it because I was bored. 😅 I’m not a Jenny Colgan fan.
Honestly I don’t care for the when in Rome series. I LOVE The off Limits Rule & The Cheat Sheet by her! But all others I’ve tried have ended up in the 3 star range I think🤔 But her starting to get more descriptive and now putting open door scenes in her books has really upset me, and I probably won’t pick up anymore of her new ones with the newly added smut😫
I don't blame you for not liking Sarah Adams. I found her writing too bland and too much at the same time. I'm not a fan of big spicy stuff; I just skip right over. I don't need to know about that stuff unless God has me marry a man that will show me instead.
Thank you so much for your wrap up 💖
Great job Keisha for all books you read in October and November 🎁💚❄️💚❤️❤️🎄🎅🏻☃️☃️🎄❄️💚🎁🎁📙📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📖📙📙📙📙📖📚📚📚📚📖📙📙❤️❤️❄️❄️💚🎁🐴🎁💚❤️💚💚❤️❤️🎄💚❄️❄️❄️💚💚

I love your rapid fire 🔥 ❤😊
Thanks, Corinna! ☺️
I also have a mild beef with Sarah Adams. 😅🤭

So many books! I agree with you on the Fall series, I did not like the second one as much, but I do want to see more of the Appies. 🎀

Perfect bow! 😂

You are always saying such good things about Sarah Fox. I really need to get to her cozies!

I still stand by that one! I just haven’t cared for anymore since. 🙈
The "I have some invisible beef with Sarah Adams" had me rolling! LOLLLLZ

Adorning the Dark was definitely meh! I enjoyed the Wingfeather Saga (the two books I’ve read so far) 🎀
🎀🎀 “that’s not a bow emoji, that’s a bow ornament” 😂
I was like what am I even saying! 😂
Have you read The Christmas Bookshop? It sounds very similar to the Last Bookshop in London. I've got that one in my Kindle to pick up soon.

I agree! I think that’s where the bad taste in my mouth started, when she started incorporating those. It just felt like a sell out.
@ it really does feel like she sold out😫
