That was an awesome first trail to take the Gladiator on! The views at the peak are amazing. This trip was refreshing compared to the last one we did together. Its nice when nothing breaks! We had a great time wheeling with you again. We will have to plan a trip to utah when I get the gladiator a little more built. The camping out there is awesome.
For sure, bud! This was an epic trail with views on views on views! I do plan on doing a Moab trip sometime next year with the JK. Will be trailering it out next time.
As best I can tell, and maybe it's mentioned in the vid (I'm only 4:45 in), but it looks like Justin is on the stock 285/75/17 tires. It does my heart a world of good to see a 33x12.50 (essentially) going over rocks etc. like that. My supreme concern when I'm out in my Glad Sport S is clearance.
The gladiator did a lot better than I expected! I'm definitely glad I had the skid plates but honestly it wasn't that bad. The stock tires held up great.
I drove from Western Canada to Colorado last week. I just finished a video on all of the badge trails and I believe red cone should also be one. It was pretty simple but I’m Not a fan of the shelf roads. lol
That sounds like an amazing trip! And yes, Red Cone should be a badge trail as well! What’s nice about it is you get the amazing views and it’s not really a shelf road compared to some of the others in the area.
@@johnanthony6141I mean honestly… the views in Silverton vs Red Cone aren’t that dissimilar… I was just in CO last week from IL… hit near Breckenridge then down to Salida (because I dream of buying the rail line along the Arkansas River and starting a scenic railroad), then to the Rio Grande NF, then up to Durango/Silverton… and the whole state S of 70, and west of Denver is absolutely BEAUTIFUL… so I think you’re both right.
Great video, and great trail!
Thanks Casey! Definitely one of my new favorites!
Great video, thanks! Adding this one to my next trip out west.
It’s definitely one you don’t want to miss! Thanks for watching!
Another Awesome video, thanx for the hard work
Thank you! This one was especially fun to make!
Another FANTASTIC video my dude! CO is simply amazing, and you did a great job of capturing the adventure and beauty it offers! 🤘
Thanks you guys! It is one of my favorite places to visit for sure! Saw you did the Rubicon, which looked amazing! On my bucket list for sure!
Awesome video as usual man keep upthe good work
Thank you and I’m doing my best to keep the content flowing!
@@TrailExpedition hey your doing better then me I haven't been out all year this year
@Smokingtrailsoffroadclub I’ve definitely done a lot this year and keeping the content consistent. Hasn’t really grown the channel though.
What an amazing trail! The views are unbelievable!
I know, right! One of the most scenic trails I’ve ever run!

@@TrailExpedition ill help you rent a big trailer if you take the TJ too lol
Haha! Not sure if the Ram is up to that task! Your Gladiator could definitely flat tow it.

Yessir! His Gladiator is completely stock height and tires. Only upgrades have been skid plates, bumper, and a winch.
@@TrailExpedition Same as mine! Love your no nonsense content.
@matthewb8229 thanks! I try to keep it streamlined, to the point, and have the videos flow well. Thanks for watching!

@WheelinWithWally agreed. Maybe 2-3 spots that you actually have to think about your line choice. Overall not bad.

If I remember correctly from my trip the steepest grade decline was 21%
I knew it had to be between 20-25°. My Wrangler doesn’t have the pitch and roll mechanism like the new jeeps have.
These are not the best views in Colorado. Haha
Well that is for each individual person to decide. I thought they were pretty amazing.
@@TrailExpedition go down to Lake City, Silverton and Ouray. Only then you will know.
@johnanthony6141 I was in that area last summer. Back country camped in Silverton for a week. One of my favorite trips. Epic views all over the state.
