So much fun! I was really expecting a zombie horde to be around the corner in the mine 😂. Love the multiple camera angles. Thank you for the experience and great time 👍
Heck yeah man, great route! We miss the turn right after the washout section and had to backtrack for a hot second. Good thing we were paying attention to OnX!
@ I spent two days to do the loop and camped along the river between Washout and Highline where the trail changes names. Good spot for RTT or sleeping in a rig, but could never set up a ground tent with all the big rocks. Luckily you got to highline before it was too dark- that’s the best spot for you to make up some time!
Right on. We knocked it all out in a day but it was a loooooong day! Mostly because we already established camp at the end of Highline drive. Looking forward to doing more trails in the area.
Great video. Sometimes the Batchawana River comes right up to that narrow spot and floods the beginning of it. You have to get across the water first. I see some of the logs we set in place are still there. We ventured into the mine and climbed up into another chamber. About a month after we were there the ceiling collapsed and blocked a lower chamber. Glad it didn’t happen when we were there.
That must be a crazy obstacle when the water is that high! Definitely higher consequences. And thanks for the logs as it would not be wide enough without them. I ventured quite a ways in the mine. As soon as I saw an area where the roof had collapsed in I turned around. I’m sure it goes on quite a ways. Again, thanks for all your expertise on this trail. We had a blast! Looking forward to your video of it!
How many pounds is your Gladiator loaded out like you have in the video? My Sport S with a bumper & winch, recovery gear, etc. comes in at ~4950. I don't have anything on the bed, though.
Honestly I’m not sure as I’ve never weighted it. I need to though. I would imagine it’s between 5-5.5k. My skid plates and rock sliders are full steel which adds a lot of weight. Not to mention the 12k winch, rack, tent, gear, etc.

Thanks for joining me as I had a blast! And the zombie horde was around the next corner so I turned around 😆
So awesome to see people using my route on OnX!

I definitely have to explore that area now. Thanks for a great video showing the opportunities closer to Michigan.
Absolutely! I’m looking to explore this area more next year. Nice that it’s only about a five hour drive away.
Fantastic video sir! Entertaining from start to finish! The offroad shots were great, but the mine footage was fascinating!
Thanks man! I was really worried it was too long and people wouldn’t watch because of the length. Didn’t want to cut any of it out though.
@@TrailExpedition I personally prefer longer videos. People can skip forward if they need. It was an A+ for me! 🤘
I’ll keep them coming! 😎
It's great trail!!
However it looks hard. Because road is very narrow.
But you did it~👍👍
Thanks for sharing video^_^
It definitely had a few spots that rollovers are highly likely. Just gotta take it slow and steady. Thanks for watching!
Super cool trail. 😊 great video
Hey, thanks! It was one of my favorite trips! Just hard enough to make it fun and extremely remote.
Beautiful Trail
Agreed! Very scenic and would definitely go back.
Great video, looks like a great trail.
Thanks it was a lot of fun exploring this area!
I'm still frustrated I couldn't make it... This looks like a hoot.
Yeah man, an all diesel Gladiator trip would have been cool 😎
