    Awesome top notch video as usual!
    Ran this trail solo in a lifted (1.5") KK Liberty a few years ago and it was definitely worthy of the "difficult" rating. The Liberty did make it through undamaged but took lots of patience and thought picking the right lines.

    My work is being insane right now, so I’ll likely be on a train when this goes live and is rendered (it was 30GBs). Sean will likely be around and he will likely respond to any questions or comments! We’ll try to get back to weekly videos soon, but I hope you guys like this one in the meantime. Also, check out some of the older videos, I’ve always tried to put out the best video I could make.
    Mount Blanca Trail Guide should be the next full trail guide, but I’ll have other shorter videos up before it because I have so many trails you guys should know! I mean, just yesterday, we took a non-Trailhawk Renegade on Santa Fe Peak and well, it was a wild time! We’re also filming holy cross this week too and I’m as anxious as I was for Mount Blanca for that!

    • @coloradomallcrawlers
      @coloradomallcrawlers  Год назад

      I haven’t heard that term… I just call them bypasses and we usually only use them in case of problems (or here, to make the trail more enjoyable for Sean as he still had bad memories from before, but his KL could do all the non-bypasses).
      How hard is it to rent a Jeep or capable 4WD and go exploring in Australia? I’d love to see your country and I have flight benefits. So a few of us are thinking of going there in Late April/Early May when I have vacation. We just started trying to figure this out so we might be behind on planning. Considering Africa too as I know I can rent an outfitted 4WD there.
      Anyway, thanks for watching and hope you visit Colorado… I wouldn’t worry about shipping tho. We have plenty of Jeep/OHV rental companies here. We also have turo altho those are private owner vehicles so there may be a no off-road rule.

    Hey guys that Cherokee that you guys trail ride with. We have a Cherokee latitude with the factory rack on top. Did he ever have issues with his roof top tent on the factory rack. I am nervous about but out 152 lbs 23zero tent on there. We normally car it on a Range Rover and sold it so now we only have Jeep. Any help would be great we are heading to expo east Friday and interstate driving from Florida to Virginia.

      He has not had issues, but I think he talked about it in one of his walkarounds.

      We’re not sure, but Railroaders don’t take it lightly either. However our CEOs say we don’t contribute to their profits so it shouldn’t matter. I think most of us are fine with the contract, but our current work situation is not sustainable (I’m home for 10 hours, then left to rot in a hotel for 20-30 hours, can’t get a personal day approved and if you layoff, you’re brought up on attendance charges, and I could go on and on). We currently have 20 year guys on the verge of quitting because the current work situation is so bad… the only saving grace is that the job is great. I still love to get called on a train and get it somewhere, but not even I will stay with them if they don’t address the issues. That’s what we’re currently fighting for, some balance.

      @@coloradomallcrawlers I sympathize with you, Dewey. Most companies don't seem to give a crap about their employee's quality of life even though they say they do. We're all just a disposable asset and slaves to the corporations that make billions at our expense. I really enjoyed my job but the 50-80 hour weeks got really old. Retired now and my current archnemesis is the stock market. Hang in there and hope the environment improves for your sake! Thanks for the update!

      What are you talking about? Sean was never left alone, but we had to decide on how to get off the trail. Instead of three going against the flow of traffic, we sent one with the plan to meet up at the bottom. Sean is very capable on his own, but he was never going to be left here on this trail alone. If you’re taking what I said in this video, it was in retrospect and what I meant is Sean would camp here while I tracked down a Trailhawk tire and brought it up to him. That’s in retrospect as I from this experience learned his tie rod couldn’t take being limped down. If referencing Jason going, he didn’t need to be here and would have stayed. I sent him off because more vehicles would create more difficulty.
