- Participle clauses enable us to say things in a more economical way - with fewer words.
We mainly use participle clauses in written English, particularly in an academic or journalistic style.
There are 3 types of participle clauses:
Present participle clauses
Past participle clauses (mainly used in passive voice)
Perfect participle clauses ("having" + past participle. Can be used in active voice or passive voice)
In this video, I explain each type in detail with examples.
This English lesson was presented by Andrew, a qualified native British English teacher with over 15 years experience of teaching English.

Would you mind teaching conjunctions and prepositions in Participle Clauses?
Again in the perfect participle clause at the passive voice example, if we write "the teacher sat down", will it be wrong?

Hello. V3 is past participle.

Whether it is participle phrase or participle clause
When and how do i identify it clause used as introduction or an avtion happen while some thing else happened
That will come with experience. Remember that these structures are mainly used in written English therefore you will have plenty of time to read them.
Andrew
@@CrownAcademyEnglish 🤗
Is this non tensed verbs phrases
The perfect participle clause ONLY can start with “having”? What about other verb, like “being”?
Yes, the perfect participle = "having" + past participle.
"being" is the present participle of the verb "be"
Therefore, they live a nomadic life, travelling from one place to another.
in this sentence, travelling is present participle, is'nt it?
Being demanded by viewers ,crown academy prepared a lesson on participle and uploaded on youtube, helping many students easily grasp the concept...please do give me feedback on this
Yes, very good! You have used participles correctly in this sentence. Well done. 🙂

A slightly better example is:
"Having been requested by viewers, Crown Academy prepared a lesson........"

I think u gave a wrong information on the subject of "used". "This cream" should be the subject not the object for the past participle clause. Am I wrong?
This cream is not used as an object , but it used as in subject in main clause , because in main clause , it was written as " this cream improve your complexion.
