Well done,Claire. I live in Osaka city, so I completely understand what happened to you🥺 Maybe you noticed the train was for the wrong direction in Osaka loop line at first. But this train (orange colour) runs circle like an orbit, so even if you got the wrong direction, after all you could reach the destination from the opposite side of you intended, however it would be late at your meeting. As you said, the express trains(they call ‘rapid service’)between the airport or Nara🦌 and Osaka city are also run on this line until they leave the orbit at the bottom station of the loop. My tip for not getting lost in the line is always get the train runs the outer side of the loop (they call it “sotomawari”). Because for every train except orange orbit one, the bottom station of this loop is the final station. If you lost a partner, don’t hesitate to talk to the staff to call out your partner’s name in another station with a microphone 🎙️ I don’t know they understand English😅Anyway, they could ask help on the radio. But I know you speak Japanese😊 The first picture is Nihonbashi station in Tokyo, same name station is also in Osaka. The second one is in Osaka. I’ve never climbed the tower in my life😅 Thank you for sharing !

It was quite confusing at the time! I’ve learned not to be in a rush at train stations I don’t know! I really enjoyed my time in Japan!

Thank you, Claire for this really interesting story. I got the meaning of story. However, on the level C1-C2 there were a bunch of words, which I doesn't know. I'm going to print out the pdf and study them, because the anecdote was amazing. Please, keep going to say stories.
