Hello, Teacher Andrew ! When we use comma and we don’t use comma sometimes we have the same ( who , where, whose , which etc ) Ex: 1 There is the woman who sits next to me on the plane. 2 Tom , who is 17 years old , can speak 5 languages . 3 Paris, where I spent six months studying, is the most beautiful city in the world. 4 she’s the person whose daughter goes to Harvard.
Thanks a lot Andrew. I enjoyed your clear and easy explanations . Your lesson is really useful. I would like to ask you if you have videos about the links ( whatever, however, whenever, .nevertheless, therefor.......etc ) their meanings and usages .
i have learned a lot from you and i have been learning....i miss you a lot because you don't make new videos for a long time. Please come back on youtube!!

Hello, Adrew! It is another interesting and very helpful lesson! Your teaching is very clear and understandable for all of us who want to learn the English language as our second language! Thank you very much for it,Adrew! Therefore, I want to know if there are quizzes and exercises (with their answers and explanations) and,of course, where I can find them. I am waiting for your reply... Many greetings, from Greece,Adrew!
In the example "He gave me a cake, which was on a white plate". Wouldn't this be a defining clause since the white plate identifies which cake I was given? It seems like determining when a clause is defining or not is quite a subjective process.

Thank you so much for beautifiul explanation about non-defiining clause and relative pronouns.I have a question. You use non-defining clause only in written English. Then, what senstence/expression do you use by spoken English, in the same situation as that of using no-defining clause?
