Wow! I'm a 12 year old who has been baking using RUclips for a while now, and this is by far the BEST banana cake I have ever made. Whenever people came over and tried it, they were shocked that I had made such a fluffy banana cake. Usually, banana cakes are so random. Sometimes they turn out perfect, and sometimes, not so perfect. Everytime I made this, it had turned out perfectly fluffy and moist. Thank you for this!
Amazing idea. I also tried it and substituted half of the sugar for brown sugar and also added choc chips instead of cinnamon 🙃. I also made it in two cake tins and sandwiched it with cream cheese frosting. Tastes great!
I just made this and seriously, wow! One half I frosted with chocolate ganache for adults and other with cream cheese frosting for kids. It was amazing. Greatly recommended recipe for banana cake.
Trust me guys the recipe turned out sooo well I had small to medium sized 3 bananas and i added one tsp cocoa powder also in the recipe turned so fluffy and moist and yumm .... Best cake baked by me until now... Thanks for the recipe once again ... Also I used ghee instead of oil and baked in otg
I tried this with half the sugar n half the oil (which I actually substituted with melted butter) n it turned out soo fluffy! Added some chopped nuts too which made it loads tastier. I recommend putting less sugar depending on the ripeness of ur bananas as it was still q sweet for my family even w halved sugar
This was the best banana cake recipe I’ve ever made. I’ve made six different recipes before but this one was number one. The moisture, the texture, the sweetness, all so perfect. Had so many compliments from those that had a piece
The best banana cake I have ever had, it is super moist and fluffy. After I took it out of the oven all I wanted to do was hide it and eat it all by myself. SOOO YUMMY. Everyone in my family loved it.
Yes I loved the cake but above all I loved the simplicity of the instructions. Straight forward, simple, easy to understand. Wish all cooking videos were this good
My to-go-to channel! My family and friends think that I am such a talented baker and keep pushing me to sell baked goodies..I always say it's all from your videos!Haha😅 Thank you ever so much!
I just made this recipe this evening. It came out great! I don’t have an eight inch pan. I used a 10 in. and I baked it for 50 mins. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
My grandson (7years old) don’t eat most anything but macaroni cheese , sometimes. We made this cake and he love it! I substitute the oleo to coconut oil and add some oat meal and almond flour balancing with less flour. It came out perfect. The UIKit make it so moist. He ate many peace’s. ❤thank you
I just tried this recipe this morning and my family loves it! I ran out of cake flour so i just used bread flour instead, and avoided mixing too much as much as possible. The cake came out soft and moist! Love it
Hi I made this cake with brown sugar and whole wheat flour and it turned out perfect. Moist and fluffy. The best banana cake I’ve ever eaten. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe.
I just tried it hot - it’s the best cake I ever had! How did old bananas and a youtube search turn into one of my best experiences?! I now treasure this recipe. Thank you! 🏆
Thank you for this recipe. I ain't no baker, so keep trying youtube recipes for cakes. Got lucky once in a while. This one was by far the best and easiest recipe. I made some tweaks, didn't have yogurt so omitted that, added cinnamon powder, cake was so fluffy and moist inside and made it crispy outside by baking over an hour. My husband said it looks professional.
Mayonnaise is a good idea. I don't have pain yogurt, but I have strawberry flavoured yoghurt or I cud use soured cream... which do I use ? Mmmm! Mayo, soured cream or flavoured yoghurt or maybe a mixture 🤷♀️
I tried this recipe today With half brown and half granulated sugar 1 tsp cinnamon And added 1 tbs cocoa And almond s It was so soft and delicious This tmis best recipe. Thank you for lovely recipe . Love from Goa
My search for a moist banana cake has finally come to an end.. I have tried so many recipes and this turned out to be the best banana cake. Thank you!!!!
I've searched for recipes that came close to my mum and aunty's banana cake and i made two batches last night and both my family and I were taken back to our childhood! Thank you for this delicious recipe
This is the best banana recipe ever. My husband and I have been baking this almost 3 times per month. Loved this. But trust me I exclude the sugar completely and it still tastes yummy. The sweetness from the banana does the job. I love this recipe.
this is in my oven right now!! I stirred in some cacao chips at the end! I'm excited based on all the reviews! Had some bananas to use up and this was the perfect solution! Thank you!
I loved this recipe. Just tried this today. Six tiny overripe bananas. I would reduce the oil and sugar by a bit next time since my fingers were a bit greasy. But the taste and consistency is great. I’ve baked six times the past two months this was by far the best
Me! 😍 Just baked for my daughter’s birthday last week and it was so good!! She devoured every last piece and was moist even up to 2-3 days from the baking date!! Thinking of making this again. We all loved it! 🫶🏻
Rating: 10/10 Easy to make If you guys are wondering, i baked this after school and ITS A HIT. My parents who dont normally enjoy my baking absolutely LOVES THIS. And suprisingly, me who doesnt even like banana cake ate so many slices. It was just THAT GOOD. Its best eaten when its hot. Its not oily and not too sweet. Just perfecto. Eating the crust tasted the best. I used palm oil & greek yogurt incase ur wondering Next time i'll try adding choc chips 🤎
This is literally the best banana recipe I've found, but I made a few tweaks I thought I'd share. I made a vegan version, and it's almost as good as the non-vegan version. When I mashed the bananas, I added lemon juice or vinegar to the mix to stop them browning but also to help add air when it combines with the bicarb. I replaced the 2 eggs with 6 tablespoons of aquafaba. I used oat milk instead of normal milk. I used a dash of oat milk instead of the yoghurt. I mixed the mashed banana into the oil mix before adding the flour so that there would be less mixing needed once the flour was added. I added like a tablespoon or more of cinnamon, 1tsp all spice, 1tsp mixed spice, 1 decent dash of nutmeg and a decent dash of ground cloves (I used a lot of spices but I love them!) Mix the wet & dry together until it just comes together. Don't over mix! For my oven, I needed my oven a bit hotter, like 180-190°C and it took longer then stated. But maybe that's just my oven. Also, finally, for the non-vegan version, having a slice when it is still warm is heavenly! However, for the vegan version, I think it needs to set properly, so leave it be until completely cooled before cutting the cake. Bon appetite xx
You Tube is just so great man! I was just here in my kitchen mourning the beyond-enjoying ripeness of my 3 bananas and now i am waiting for my cake to finish baking. My kitchen is smelling like a happy toddler.
Gosh! This recipe is so delicious and moist too...I've made it twice in a week...I twist Abit of the recipe, ☺️ I add on some samolina 50g and the rest plain flour, melted butter 30g, veg oil 150g....it turn out so good 🥰🥰🥰 txs for the recipe....😘God bless 🙏

1/2 cup sugar is enough because the bananas are already sweet
This cake is so fluffy, moist and yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
