LG Dishwasher Not Draining Easy Fix

I didn’t find any videos of a LG dishwasher not draining properly so I figured I would post one. Hopefully it helps and let me know if you have any questions. Be sure to read the error codes on the owner's manual before troubleshooting.

How many times did you try to use the dishwasher before you realized it wasn't draining properly? I have an LG that I bought about a year ago and up until this week, it has worked/drained just fine. After running a load of dishes last night, the bottom of the tub was full of water this morning. My initial thought is maybe the filter is plugged. I guess I'll find out after I dig into it later today.

Thanks for the video, mine started leaking underneath after my sink backed up. I am not sure what is going on. What do you think?

I would make sure the hose is moving down, in other words, make sure gravity is working it's course. I would also make sure the garbage disposal is not backed up like in the video. Sorry for the late reply!

I can't believe so many people had the same issue. Installing the drain on a garbage disposal unit it is the first thing that is done when you install the drain hose. If you hired someone to install the dishwasher, shame on that person. if you installed it, I bet you felt foolish when you realized it had a plug

This is a video on how to UNPLUG A GARBAGE DISPOSAL. Not Fix a dishwasher DUH. The drain was plugged so you unplug it. ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTION ON A DISHWASHER WITH A PROBLEM THANKS for NOTHING
