I just watched a recording of VP Harris’s speech at her first rally (in Wisconsin). She did a great job. It’s very exciting to see how energized the party is now and how quickly they have rallied around our VP. Thank you, President Biden for recognizing what we needed.

The last 10-15 years Democrats have increasingly resorted to calling an argument or a person making it racist/sexist or whatever buzzword they think will stick. Critical thinking and debate on policy has gone out the window because they figure if you keep the discussion from happening then it's just as good as winning with far less work. This is the bread and butter of younger democrats like AOC and is precisely why I (registered Independent but a liberal), and if you look at polling data, young people, are less supporting of democrats than previous generations. Harris is absolutely a DEI pick and stop pretending black people are a monolith.
