One thing you should try to do first is simply restarting your PC. At times this fixes the Windows 10 screen brightness issue without you having to do anything.
mine pc brightness gets lower when charging and the brightness goes up while its not in charge. Note: I cant change my brightness willingly. Whats the solution of this problem?

guys if u are having this problem or the problem related to missing Bluetooth try restarting and going in to check for updates and it will surely help. i checked out and windows had sent me updates on update and security in settings. Thanx to the man of the channel it never crossed my mind to check for update.

The initial steps solved my problem. Thank you so much. I was connected to a monitor and somehow the connection between laptop and the monitor impacted everything. Now I can change the brightness and also reconnect to my monitor.

partial thanks. i found out i can adjust brightness from within the radeon software. however the hotkeys still don't change the brightness. so i will have to open the software everytime? anyway this is better than nothing so thanks.

For me it glitched because i was trying to draw by touch on a microsoft word document for a school assignment. It is now stuck at full brightness and the screen flickered for a minute. This is a brand new laptop too, but since this is a school issued laptop, I can't change any settings because it has admin on it.
thankyouuu it worked . i think it was somehow stuck on the microsoft one and the brightness was locked on max so i switched driver to AMD and it worked :)

I slowly noticed my screen was getting darker and darker each time id turn it on and this helped me a lot . Thank you for the help!
