    XMP: disabled (not level 1, 2, etc.)
    timing control:
    16-18-18-18-36 (should be the same as your RAM model timings)

    Thanks for the video dude I appreciate it. Question on your 3600 though. Have you noticed it like boosting at idle? I’m running a 360mm aio (I know it’s overkill) but I’m still seeing idle temps between 40-50c and I’m kinda at a loss.

    • @DanielJohnHowTo
      @DanielJohnHowTo  2 года назад

      Hi, the boosting is most likely just system demand at and as for the temps, well mine runs 30-40c at idle/general system use on a AIO like yours. If the AIO is new, check you don't have too much thermal paste etc, I would advise a X then a dot in each section of the X with equal clamping pressure, hope that helps.

    Every processor has its maximum theoretical memory bandwidth. For example yours has 50 GBit/s. Then if you have dual channel memory, let's calculate. 50/8=6.25GBytes/s. 6.25/2=3.125=3125 Mbytes/s. If your processors bandwith is 50, you can use 3125 memory in dual channel mode. Or 2100 memory in tripple channle mode. Everything depends on your processor. Dont initiate XMP in BIOS before calculating what I wrote above. Your system will not be stable otherwise.

    I have an Intel I7 when I checked earlier I saw it set to 3200 currectly didnt look for epm. No crashing so far.
    One question when it did the auto configure did it get the timing setting right for the memory or was that also not correct?

    • @DanielJohnHowTo
      @DanielJohnHowTo  2 года назад

      No crashing or problems, xmp profile set it to 3200 automatically you can tweak memory values manually if you wanted to.

      @@laurentvandermeersch3128 Im guessing my motherboards drivers werent up to date so I couldnt do it. I basically bought and built an entire new pc and made sure to update the motherboard and the xmp proflile 1 setting is working.

    🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯Thanks for your video. I have a problem with an Intel i7 9th Gen PC, with bios f3. The problem is that sometimes I am working with it and suddenly it reboots and enters the BIOS. To do something I tell it to exit without saving changes but it enters a loop and then I must prescribe it to re-enter Windows. What do you think is the problem?

    So I followed your steps and the Bios is showing 3200MHz but when I restart, my PC will fail to post two or three times then finally start. When it does, the RAM is only running at 2133MHz.
    Mobo: GIGABYTE X570 GAMING X AMD Ryzen 3000 PCIe 4.0 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.2 AMD X570 ATX Motherboard

      Dram voltage needs to be changed from 1.2 to 1.35 as specified by your memory box before changing speed. I have same configuration but XPG brand memory at 3200mhz cl16 I tried 3600 mhz but no improvement or not good memory for higher than specified speed.

    None of this works for the Gigabyte X670E Aorus Xtreme. Every time I do the XMP profile, it tells me it can not do it.
    I tired so many times on my DDR5 (128-GB) to get it to 6000-mht speed. I updated to the latest bios which as of writing this is, F11a with updated AGESA v1.0.0.1b
    And yes, Gigabyte says my memory is compatible.

      For people who have b550M elite / 3600mhz ram
      Set XMP profile 1 enabled
      XMP Frequency support lvl2
      Memory multiplier 34.00
      It worked for me from 2,600mhz to 3,400mhz :-)
