It's a great car. I bit big and luxurious for my preferences, but nonetheless absolutely awesome. I just wish they'd created a version that was a GT-R competitor. That would have been cool!
I drove three LC 500s at Laguna Seca during a Lexus Performance Driving School one day event. Got up to about 95 mph (limited by the instructor in the LC in front of me) on a world famous track. Definitely a top 3 moment in life.

I have to chime in and say you and your brother look like really nice guys. It's obvious you do love each other. It comes across in the video. As an owner of a 2018 LC 500 for two days short of four years, the car is by far the most exquisite machine available on the market today. It's a perfect car. Even though you "don't mind" the trackpad, there is some better news. You almost never have to use it. It's there primarily to run MENU/SETUP and then select your personal/default preferences. After that, you simply talk to the car using VOICE COMMAND. There are very RARE times when you'll use the trackpad. For instance, press the TALK BUTTON on the left side of the steering wheel and wait for the beep. Say "Navigation, Get Directions To...10 Downey Street, London", wait a second or two and then say "GO THERE". Want to change the audio? BUTTON, Say "Tune to AM 780" and the car does it. There are unlimited possibilities. You're required to learn just a few basic commands to the software understands what you want. That takes about half an hour. After that, just talk to the car. Not only is this safer and much better than a touch screen because you never have to take your eyes off the road, but it's so much easier and faster.
WTF!!! Voice command? I had no idea, why is it no one has spoken about Voice command on the LC500 on any of their videos?? Now I have another reason why I love the LC500..... Thanks for that.
@@raymondrodriguez8263 If you've watched other LC 500 videos then you know that every single reviewer bitches about the trackpad. A couple of these lazy guys even said they hated it because they couldn't change radio stations while the car was moving. I've always been the kind of person to do my homework and try not to make stupid comments. Reading and learning about the LC500 is the best use of your time once you buy one of these fantastic cars. Of course the trackpad is frustrating to use while you're driving. You're not supposed to be doing that. There are typically a certain number of things we all do when we drive. My guess would be less than ten different things. I typically will call my wife, text a client, get directions to somewhere, change the radio station and a few other tasks. None of those require taking your hands off the steering wheel. Wouldn't it be refreshing to watch a video with an informed reviewer demonstrating just how wonderful the infotainment system really is? I keep hoping...

I think that you could've kept your brother in suspense for a moment or two longer before whipping out the keys. However, seems like the surprise went down a treat. Got a feeling that Ray will be looking at the purchase very soon.
Yeah, he loved it but it's true - I panicked as I was quite nervous and sensed he thought something was up. I wished afterwards that I'd dragged it out a bit longer.

I've had a '21 LC500 Convertible for right at a year, and that's the best description of these cars. Very nice that you were able to share this car with your brother!
