The reason why Diego's combo didn't work on Kira and it did on Jotaro is because Jotaro is taller than Kira, thus giving him a bigger hitbox than him. It's the same thing with Kira but in reverse
Also, the reason why some combos drop with different characters is because you’re either against the wall or it’s because of their height and falling animations, I learned that when I character falls a certain way some moves will have greater bit boxes or worse hit boxes
3:47 Reek I'm pretty sure the different character have different animations when they get hit, so some attacks will whiff because of different hitboxes, which is why attacks that hit the chest are typically best because they don't whiff on basically any character
I still want to consider Scary Monsters, I don't know... I think his combos are more slick and it looks more fun, however for the THE WORLD it's almost the same route, but you can still go crazy with some ToD combos.

I just got back into playing and forgot he just dropped and idk if he felt unbalanced to me . lot of my friends hate him so far because they can’t use him and feel like he’s a to much of a knock off or part 3 and rather stick with the devil they know.

In the story, if we going with favorite stand, then Alternate Diego with The World easily. I like scary monsters, but The World is literally my favorite stand. However, if we going with character, the original Diego is just amazing. Went from being a kind of bad dude to being a great person and an ally to the very end. I thought the DLC Diego was going to be my new main but he is so different from DIO's The World.
The world in part 7 is way different than in part 3 so I'm not sure how you thought they would end up with the same playstyle in asbr

If you’re using a standard controller then the sticks are pretty unreliable, I’d recommend using the D pad
