Telecasters aren’t just for country. Some might consider them the most versatile guitar. I’m one of those people. Sure it has that twang you want in country but it can realistically do almost any tone you want
I don’t know, I generally find Telecasters sound overly thin and not meaty enough. I guess changing the pickups would address this, but I feel like you could say the same of most guitars if you allowed this.
