Thank you both for inspiring me to start the cello, if this song had never existed my life would be so much different. Thank you both so much for making my life a musical one.

Wow. Thank you for your story. How goes it now? Are you a professional cellist?

Those bows can brag that they have truly lived!

Damn i remember watching that video together with my mum when it was like 9 months old. I was probably 6 or 7. Crazy how fast time flew.
My teacher said that you need to feel the music and your body language must show that you’re enjoying the piece. It’s called being a one-bum player. I just pretended I was possessed whenever I performed. Yes even pianists have to do this. Look at Yuja wang for instance
“We’re professional musicians, but our paychecks almost solely go to new bows or re-hairing old ones”
So just classical string musicians, no?
You joke, but that's precisely what was going on with The Who in the early days. They'd smash more equipment than what the gig covered.
Vincent Thibert most professional musicians do not have to get replacements after every performance
your booga shit right
Booga_Shuga I understand but have you been to a semi-professional classic concert? Average number of bows broken is 4 per movement.
