Honestly, as someone that has played bass for 20 years but is just learning guitar now, the two instruments are so different in every way other than physical resemblance that the skills only kinda roughly translate to each other. To anyone that wants to play guitar, start with a guitar and don't think of bass as an "easier" guitar and if you wanna play bass start with a bass and don't let people get ya down about it being "easy" because the instrument in reality is just as complex as guitar but in different ways.
@@adafrost6276 Honestly. If you really wanna play bass learn how to play guitar first. Both guitars are totally different for sure. The way you play them are totally different. Its as heavy as a Les Paul and the neck is longer than your "instrument" and so fun to play because you can play with it many different ways. I have a guitar kind of like this. But it has the highest FOUR strings of a guitar, and it's tuned up a fourth (GCEA). Of course, it is so small that they need to make the first string tuned an octave higher than it otherwise would, lest the first string be too thick to sound good, so it is generally annotated "gCEA". I got a newer version of the GK, it was a thrift store buy for 5 dollars, it was never a playing guitar for me but an instrument for education and attempting more extensive setups like leveling the board and crown the frets for my first time as a trial which turned out quite well, also did some upgrades on it with the electrical and finally a full setup which I was able to get the string quite low and overall it plays quite nice, holds turn no feed back now it sits in a bag waiting on my next educational lesson replacing frets as my restoration 1989 RG 740 guitar will need new frets. Bottom line a perfect guitar to just dive in and learn if your able to.
Dear Steve T, I'm learning English and your videos are first ones I can understand without subtitles and feel comfortable to watch them. please tell me the truth: your videos are for beginners
Dude, there was a way worse beginner guitar before your day. Back in my day I owned it. 1985 and the body was about 1" thick, the pickup was top mounted the bridge was like and upside down ashtray and sucked BALLS! It had this burst paint job and kind of I guess a country design. It was given to me by a friend of my mothers. But I truly believe it was meant to be a weapon in a bar to break up fights from drunks after a rodeo? Not sure. But your first guitar is killer! I'd mod it today. Let me rad it out for you. Ill make you love it again.
I am thirteen (fourteen in a couple weeks) and I got an early birthday present and it was my first guitar, and it looks eerily like Stevie T's, I got a 39" Lux Pro beginner set. If you look it up, you can't tell me that it doesn't look similar.
Perhaps guitar newbies could gain a better appreciation of alternate chord voicings by being limited to the top three strings. Pete Townshend used a lot of higher voicings if I recall correctly. And if all else goes wrong, the Loog would make a lovely marital aid.
OMG, I had so much fun today! This little cute guitar is so cool! AND IT DJENTS!!!! HELL YEAH!!!🤘(btw, can you please teach me how to djent? Bradley is a sweepman, he's not authorized to teach djent. I need djent god for this 🤪) 😅 I really loved the puns. The sweeps from your GUI-car vid, the "I'M SO DJENT!" from your How to be Djent vid, The tapping part from Djenstrumental (Album of Epicness), the parts from If Djent was added to the oxford dictionary, "Catchy, catchy, catchy" as from Generic pop song catchy catchy? 🤣 and "No rest for GRASFFSSSCHOPFSSSS" from Intelligible lyrics... 😍😂 (i hope I remembered everything, haha 😅) Also, if somebody will tell you again that you make too many faces, then they know nothing! Medications work, but they are for LOOSERS! * throws pick away * So then... yeah... 😊I will now drop that santa and be mental again 🤣 Love ya, Steve! ❤ P.S. The G C D technique song will be now in my brain indefinitely for few days straight 😆THANKS STEVE 🤪👍 As for the others.... YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE DJENT! 😤 😅🤣
Well, sweep picking is not that important to beginners, but palm muting and power chords are. The 3 string thing will deform the beginners perception. Also tabs won't be ok. These are my thoughts.
I agree to a large extent. Also think learning guitar before ukulele for similar reasons. One you learn guitar, uke or 3 string is a cake walk. Wish I had learned piano first. It really builds the brain for operating the hands independently. As it is I actually did drums first, then guitar, then key boards a bit. Didn't get a uke until Dec 2022, was playing tunes inside of 5 minutes. - Cheers

We have Kars 4 Kids for the Stevie T Rickroll 😭
"Bro, just change the scale, and you can totally djent! You could even use thicker strings and make the first djent song on a 3-string guitar! Instead of using the bottom scale, try the top one 😉."
LOVE U!
Usually, I simply spit my Loogs out, but it seems that you are happy with YOURS. ROCK ON! 😎
Lil Wayne needs one of those guitars.
4:46 he sounds just like Benson Boone lol
Dear Steve T, I'm learning English and your videos are first ones I can understand without subtitles and feel comfortable to watch them. please tell me the truth: your videos are for beginners
Hey steve happy late 37th birthday, been watching you since 2022 which is been 2 years since I've known on RUclips now 😁
Stevie's first guitar!!!🎸
Dude, there was a way worse beginner guitar before your day. Back in my day I owned it. 1985 and the body was about 1" thick, the pickup was top mounted the bridge was like and upside down ashtray and sucked BALLS! It had this burst paint job and kind of I guess a country design. It was given to me by a friend of my mothers. But I truly believe it was meant to be a weapon in a bar to break up fights from drunks after a rodeo? Not sure. But your first guitar is killer! I'd mod it today. Let me rad it out for you. Ill make you love it again.
Did you know there is a band called 'The Scrotes'
bro is the most acoustic guitar guy on YT and i love it
It brings back memories when I bought me a first act guitar and a $99 line 6 amp. What little it takes to make us happy
4:56 i love knees myself
Young Stevie T is Mclovin
Lol
5:11 GREEN DAY MENTIONED??
8:53 Honestly, it's what we all came here for
I am thirteen (fourteen in a couple weeks) and I got an early birthday present and it was my first guitar, and it looks eerily like Stevie T's, I got a 39" Lux Pro beginner set.
Электробалалайки перешли на новый уровень
Wait, isn't this basically an electric balalaika?
a balalaika is tuned EEA i think but you can just do that with this one and it is
5:50 what’s the tune?
E standard but its just G B E
@@Skumpy I think he ment song name

Sandstorm Darude

@@abaddon5420 I accepted that sad fact a while ago :(
2:07 not Stevie T using the vine boom sound effect 😭
Yeah i never thought that would be a thing in a Stevie T vid lmao
OMG, I had so much fun today! This little cute guitar is so cool!
AND IT DJENTS!!!! HELL YEAH!!!🤘(btw, can you please teach me how to djent? Bradley is a sweepman, he's not authorized to teach djent. I need djent god for this 🤪) 😅
I really loved the puns. 😍😂 (i hope I remembered everything, haha 😅)
Also, if somebody will tell you again that you make too many faces, then they know nothing! Medications work, but they are for LOOSERS! * throws pick away *
So then... yeah... 😊I will now drop that santa and be mental again 🤣
Love ya, Steve! ❤
P.S. The G C D technique song will be now in my brain indefinitely for few days straight 😆THANKS STEVE 🤪👍
As for the others.... YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE DJENT! 😤
😅🤣
Wair how could you post earlier?

this is really funny cuz I used to watch you a while ago and now a few years later I play guitar lol
I've been looking for this guy for a whole decade☠️
and he pop out of my fyp☠️
- Cheers
I've learned palm muting aka chug
hey Steve have you heard of the 21st night of September?
What’s up four from BFB?
