Bit of a late reply ,sorry. I try to follow you various service guys and gals who are on postings overseas to the Heath as wife and I only live up the road in Ipswich. Big adventure for you all. Fortunately Lakenheath has tried to make it a home from home ( been to visit on open days) for US personnel although from the guys I bump into the accommodation takes some getting used to. Thanks for your service and also to the wives and kids who make lots of sacrifices to let you follow your careers Cheers guys
Wow - US service personnel accommodation is simply lush. So big. Back in 1990 (as the USAF were _pulling out_ of the UK, I bought my first house in Bicester - which accommodated US personnel from Upper Heyford. My house was ex-USAF and (by British standards) _friggin' enormous_ !! What I didn't appreciate is that after Americans fill such a big house with American furniture, they were actually tiny! For us though - it always seemed palatial ...but not as nice as this lovely house. Is this one your home now?
When our family arrived at our stations in Germany and Hong Kong, there was normally a "Welcome Provisions Pack" with some of the essentials (Tea, coffee, milk, etc)
Wow overseas personnel live well. One Quarter I lived in had no bath and it was minging. My husband was OC. Very impressed hope he is too. Not the typical standard of housing.
Actually uk married quarters are similar to council houses abd iften worse... RAF Brize Norton Quarters in Cartertin where i lived for 5 years.. awful and ugly too. Bicester was pretty bad and we also lived in Naval quarters in at what was once HMS Ganges.. not quite so bad but still obviously looking like a council estate... Abroad in Germany was fine as we had a hiring... The fact is US personell are used to much larger accomodation and so when they are posted here .. they get it...
British Army, loads of quarters, my boys LOVED exploring all of them. What excitement!

That's a nice house
Houses in Britain must seem tiny when compared to the average US house - small country = small roads = small houses

Good accommodation ! Hope it has a good heating system ?
Hi there! Did you wait long until a house was available?
Sad to see the family still wearing masks :(
Not recent this, on the other video they where talking about lockdown, so a reckon he recorded this a while ago and only put it up recently
Take those stupid masks off, please! Wearing them indoors in your own accommodation?
Have some respect for personal choice. They are in a foreign country and until THEY feel safe and comfortable they can do what they choose!
