There's a way you can play with a controller even if you don't have android 10. 1. Create a secondary account 2. Log-in on your PS4 and the remote play app with it. 3. On your PS4, switch back to your main account. 4. Connect to your PS4 with the app. Now enjoy playing your PS4 on your phone, controlling it with your DS4. Some reminders: you won't be able to use the actual phone to play on your main account, if your try to do so, it will switch to your secondary. Also there may be some input lag depending on your distance from the PS4.
I just found out a new way for users who have any version of android to play with a controler 1turn ps4 on sing in with a regular controler in an account that you wont use (make sure the account you are singed in with the regular controler isnt your main account ) 2turn on remote play 3switch the account your controler is singed in on to the one account that you will use 4press the Ps button on the controller 5 now say thank you (even though you prabably knew all of this)

This video is fine but remote play allows you to play anywhere away from your ps4. I have trouble connecting every time when away from home using another wifi while ps4 is in rest mode
that is why I focused on own network only. The remote play from anywhere is still buggy IMHO. When I can get a reliable solution, I will make a video on that. Thanks for hanging out here.
Hiya mate, wot iv'e started doing nowadays instead of keep buying game's I cast the games off my smartphone/ Tablet straight on to the T.V. & use my controller PS or XBox by wireless or usb charger lead. You can also use a PC mouse but only certain game's plus it's not the same. PS. Top Vid's mate, Good Show.
too much lag sadly..my wifi is good, loads 4k videos on youtube with no problems but when I use this app on my galaxy s10 plus I have very low quality and too much lag...cannot play via remote play
Ok riddle me this I want to play River City Girls that has no online co-op option but someone said there's a work around by using PS4 remote play and teaming up with someone on my friends list using that method. You have to sign in on 2 accounts for your PS4 🎮 to work.. 🤔 Instance, whatever account you want to play on make that your primary restmode account.. And just sign in on your PS4 remote play with another PS4 account from your system.. Click your PS button on 🎮 and you just enabled it to play with PS4🎮 Enjoy..

Finally got remote play to work off other networks. You have to open certain ports to make it visible and reachable

just go to Bluetooth and forget the device and turn off Bluetooth easy man if that’s not working then just charge ur controller
