Pink Floyd is one of the greatest bands of all time and they've influenced every genre of music that's come after them. You can't go wrong with anything from the Pulse concert. You also can't go wrong with anything from the albums Wish You Were Here through The Division Bell. I hope you continue with them. They take you on a ride like no other.
Dude as an "older" PF fan I would highly recommend working through the album "Wish You Were Here" If you like closing your eyes and getting carried beyond the universe, the opening track "Shine on You Crazy Diamond 1-5" will blow your mind. then you get 3 seperate tracks and the album closes with "SOYCD 6-9" Worth knowing this is ALL about the former band member Syd Barrett who had dropped out of the band suffering severe mental health issues and the effects of drug abuse. Syd had been dearly loved and the album both celebrates his artistry and youth while also mourning his menral and physical decline. During recording, a large man, bald head, shaved off eyebrows in a raincoat walked into the recording studio. It took several minutes before the band realised this man was their old friend Syd. Roger Waters cried when he realised what had become of his old friend.
A lot of reactors pause often because they think they will get a copyright block. I love how Floyd videos rarely get blocked, even when played in entirety
What a fabulous reaction, thank you for sharing it with us. I understand what you mean about absorbing the music into your soul. It is something that Pink Floyd always did so well. They wrote the music that brought about emotions you didn't even know you had. It is the genius that they possess that can speak to your heart, and often without even using words. I guess that is the genius of all good music to be fair, but Pink Floyd were the very first band that ever moved me to tears. Thank you so much once again, its great to see young people such as you appreciating this great music nearly 50 years after I first heard it.
Most of our music made us close our eyes. GEN X " we have the legends." Im was very happy to experience this with you. I was jamming too. Oh sir, you are not the same inside.
Great reaction! Try the studio version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond Parts I-V. There is a second part to the song also (Parts VI-IX). Both are absolute masterpieces. The first time you hear it should be the studio version. The live versions are awesome too, but first time you hear it, it should be the studio version.
If you're going to keep your eyes closed during live Pink Floyd performances please do the studio versions instead! It's like paying big money to go to a movie and then keeping your eyes closed during the movie! Maybe you did not miss it but it seemed like you missed the reveal of the giant orb and then the reveal of the orb opening?? A live Pink Floyd show is visual as well as musical. If you keep your eyes closed you just miss a lot!!
@@prince_next.door1 you didn't do anything wrong especially if that's the way you enjoy music and that's your prerogative! Just saying if you're going to do a live Pink Floyd show try to keep your eyes open or you just might miss something!
Amazing reaction ❤
I am nearly 58, I have done a lot in my life, but being at that concert in Earles Court 30 years ago is still one of the highlights of my life.
Top notch
Thanks fam🙏🏾
