I love how David Gilmour stands there in a t-shirt and jeans, looking like someone's dad about to go out and mow the lawn. Then he calmly rips your heart out with the greatest guitar solos ever.
Absolutely...
Greatest comment ever, thank you for putting words to my thoughts.
he is no man ... he is a fucking god !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The one pocket work shirt, gotta love him!

Better than David Gilmore. His Pink Floyd work is legendary and his solo albums are pieces of art in my 300 record vynal collection!
As a 68 year old grandpa, I love when the younger generation appreciates the music that I grew up with.
Thank you for this, Angel.❤!
ditto
65 years old for me and I’ve been a fan since the early 70s. Favorite band of all time.
@@crichhanson I'm 68. I love my Baby Boomer Support Group l. 😎
BEST. GUITAR. SOLO.EVER.
You don't listen to Pink Floyd, You feel Pink Floyd !!!!
You don't play Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd plays you.
Best description of Pink Floyd ever. 🤗
Great Reaction!!
Pink Floyd got the name from two blues musicians they liked, "Pink" Anderson and "Floyd" Council. The story behind this song is that bass player Roger Waters was having stomach pain before a show. A doctor came and gave him a shot for the pain, the result of the shot was that Roger barely remembered playing at the show. He was "Comfortably Numb". Roger left Pink Floyd to go solo. The bass player in the video is Guy Pratt.
The show that Roger got the shot was the June 77 Animals tour at the Spectrum in Philadelphia. It was my first time seeing them, and I remember my 17 year old self thought it was the greatest show ever. Who knew Roger was under the weather? Nobody, lol.
Angel you have come to the great divide of music I am friends with Roger and thus the band you are listening to is great for listening to but if you ever take a deeper dive into the band you will understand that I still stand with Roger and after he left the band it was never the same sorry Tom but I love that the music still goes through to the people even though it's ten different guys writing it to replace Roger 😮 but it's still great to hear but we won't hear my favorite PF songs on here it's shine on your crazy diamond all the parts 😂😆 but let's just let the music do the talking
@@victorbradshaw7359 i have to be honest i always thought that after Roger left, the band sounded like a band trying to sound like Pink Floyd.
still great but not quite.
something missing.
@@derekjinks5640 ty for your honesty I really don't like the fact that David tried to go solo also but the money made him reform the PF band IMO. My friendship with Roger also tainted my opinion I assume but it is great to see the music live on
@@victorbradshaw7359 Physical Roger says thank you for the support! Rogers ego 🍀😂👍
Pink Floyd are the Surgeons of Sound. I have watched this video a hundred times and I'll watch it another times and each time I'm in awe.
I was lucky enough to be at that concert , and you're right , it was nearly 3 hours of an experience that will never be repeated . Most of us that were there were crying when they played this song .
I saw the concert when it came to Toronto.... amazing experience. Only difference, as it was a stadium show, they had the mirror ball rise up from the floor, the effect was just as stunning.
That was my drinking song back in the day! I would call people to tell them I had become comfortably numb at 3am!🙄 I quit drinking 25yrs ago but still love the song. Warning! Alcohol is a mind altering drug!🥴🥴🤗🥰
@mikelawlor777 i saw them in the early 70s . Still to this day has been the best concert i have ever experienced
Best concert ever saw in San Diego Pulse tour. seen them several times and no one compares.
Greatest live band of all time. Incredible one off band, that will live through the ages
YEP
IF YOU NEVER SAW THEM, NO ONE WOULD EVER BELIEVE YOU. FAN SINCE CHRISTMAS EVE, 1968. BETWEEN 9 and 10 PM... NO OTHER GROUP IMPERESTED ME LIKE " THE PINK FLOYD. " ( Their first name )
Yep, saw PF in the fall of 1987. 15 rows from the stage, dead center. Unbelievable.
The entire Pulse 1994 concert is worth covering. This performance still gets me despite having heard it hundreds of times.
Agree. Every song is amazing!
That was a great year for me. Discovered the energy…
A grate song music of the wall picture...yo la escuché por primera vez en el cine cuando fui a ver la película en el año de 1981
This is what you call your soul on display...and the greatest guitar solo in history.
Grab a bottle of wine, turn your phone off, dim the lights, sit on a comfy chair and watch the whole Pulse Concert from 1994 from start to end. You wont be disappointed!
My wife bought the DVD for me for my birthday when it came out. We watched it together that night and it's one of the most treasured memories of my life.
There is "Music" and there is "Pink Floyd". They brings you somewhere out of your body!
Pink Floyd made me fly for the last 55 years and I've been bless for that!
The whole concert was magnificent , I still remember it 36 years later
Me too...Syracuse NY...thought those pigs would eat me....
Jeez, last night at Earls Court for me, amazing gig... was it really over 30 years ago?!
The light on my CD cover still blinks
Me too. Birmingham, AL. How in the world did they make an open air stadium sound like I was sitting in front of the greatest stereo in the world???
that entire live concert is off the rails
" THAT GUITAR WAS TELLING US ITS SECRETS " the best description of that solo I have ever heard. An astute comment young Lady.
David was pulling the guitar's secrets out of its soul.
So great to see your reaction to a song that I love! Pink Floyd are so so great.
i like to ALWAYS point out how motionless the crowd is. Not wanting to miss a single glorious note or visual. STUNNING.
"When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse, out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look and it was gone. I cannot put my finger on it now. The child is grown, the dream is gone..."
I'm 60 years old, and I can tell you that those lines become more heartbreaking with every passing year.
One of the greatest rock verses ever written imo. Chills and tears every time I hear it.
I saw David last Sunday night at the MSG, Comfortably Numb LIVE was perfect. The whole show was perfect and oh my god, the sound at the MSG is out of this world !!!!
I was lucky enough to see DG at the Royal Albert Hall in London - I felt the same way!
You got it. You never want it to end. Was fortunate to see this tour, 30 years have passed and still the best concert I've ever attended. Great reaction, enjoy the rabbit hole you are entering. The entire concert is well worth the watch.
Possibly the best guitar solo captured live.
Have heard this song literally hundreds / thousands of times in the past 45 years, and still brings tears. A huge catalog of other worldly music, PF is one of a kind.
Congratulations! You’ve taken your first steps into a much larger world. The guitarist is David Gilmour. I would recommend “The Blue Live in Gdänsk”. He will take you on a journey and help you feel things you never knew you could.
You are exactly correct. Live In Gdansk is a lesser known David Gilmour live album, and it is utterly brilliant.
People should never deny themselves a listen to the best band ever. Great reaction!
Leo Fender invented the Stratocaster but David Gilmour showed us how it was to be played
Pink Floyd is a singular band, a one of one, no other band like them for comparison! They are the cerebral band of rock.
Great reaction and please don't deprive yourself of any more Pink Floyd! You are jumping into a rabbit hole and your in for a truly amazing emotional experience enjoy!
It can mean what you initially thought it meant. That's part of the beauty of Pink Floyd, it can mean many things to many people, and no two interpretations need to be the same. It just personal art.
I'm 60 now, and Pink Floyd music has been a huge part of my life for almost 5 decades.
I was there! The "Pulse" Concert is the name of this recording all of which which was available on a DVD box set.
The tour was the Division Bell tour. The Division Bell was the album released before this tour. And! I was there! When this concert was performed at Giants Stadium in New Jersey, I was there. I cannot articulate in words the feelings I had during this performance. It was like my soul was transported to a higher dimension.
I recall shouting and almost crying "This cannot be real! This cannot be happening!" I'm so grateful for RUclips providing the means so that those who were not there can get a taste of this life changing experience.
Check out, from the Pulse Concert: Sorrow, High Hopes, Keep Talking, Time, Run Like Hell..oh what the heck, react to the whole thing.
I was in Basel on August 6, 1994, and you summed it up perfectly
I saw it live in Syracuse NY. Incredible concert. I’ve experienced nothing like it since.
This was one of the very first “computerized” light shows. It came at a time (mid-90’s) when nobody knew what a ‘computer’ was, and had no idea what computers could do.
As a result, this concert was LITERALLY INDESCRIBABLE to anyone who wasn’t there. You had no words, no way of describing what Pink Floyd did that night, because no one had ever seen a performance like it that you could compare it to.
As impressive as it looks now, it was fvcking MIND-BLOWING to experience back then.
I watched them in Mexico City in the Pulse tour. It was an open air stadium, so the light ball was emerging in the middle of the field. Was my first massive concert (I just turned 18 then) and still is one of the peak experiences of my whole life.
Great reaction. I wasn't lucky enough to be there, but a good friend of mine was and he said that at the end of this song total strangers were hugging each other in tears. Apparently a woman was heard to say "I don't know how I'm ever going to be able to explain what I just witnessed to my friends".
Great reaction Angel! That beautiful song can be interpreted in so many ways! It does indeed bring out your emotions!
Thanks Wayne xo

Fun Fact: There is not a bad song in the Pulse concert, every one of them is absolute music perfection.
Every time I watch this video, it mesmerizes me even though I have heard the song a thousand times. I'm 63 yo and been a Pink Floyd fan since my older brother bought their Dark Side of the Moon 8-track tape in 1973 when I was 12. Been hooked ever since and he bought the rest of their albums including "The Wall" in 1980 where this song is from. This concert was performed years later on October 20th, 1994. Roger Waters, a founding member of the band was not there for the Pulse Concert as he and the lead guitarist David Gilmour was at odds with each other that remains to this day. Some of the band members seen in this video are just fill ins and not founding members. My favorite Pink Floyd songs now is, "Wish You Were Here" from the album of that name. It was my older brother's favorite song before he died of cancer in 2014. The words to that song, knowing it was his favorite Pink Floyd song, just brings backs memories of him and just makes me weep like David Gilmour's lead guitar in this Solo. When I do hear it, I tell my brother, "Wish You Were Here". Hopefully Angel, if you ever react to, Wish You Were Here, they performed it at the same Pulse concert that you just heard. If you loved Comfortably Numb, you will love Wish You Were Here too. "Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (PULSE Restored & Re-Edited)".
Thanks so much xo
@@AngelDReacts David's wife says that he "has difficulty expressing himself and how he feels. But slap a guitar in his hands and you feel everything."
I really must compliment you on your take on this classic song and music from your first time hearing something so magical that is what pink floyd are truly magical as a top class legendary band and you are taking it all in and appreciating what great music is all about it doesn't matter how long it took you to hear this band playing great music you are enjoying what we as fans have always appreciated real talent and your face says it all it was really lovely seeing you enjoy this classic song I look forward to hearing more from you on here your enthusiasm is amazing keep up the great work you are doing wonderfully
Listen again and again, you'll never get bored with it.
This performance is so breathtaking it actually brings this old man to tears
my arms start shakingggg
Hey Blondie, great review, thumbs up, your first comment was totally awesome. I’ve listened to so many people that have commented on this charismatic voice and others which I respect totally but you nailed it girl.
Wow I’ve been watching reactions to this song all evening and yours is the best I’ve watched, amazing you nailed it,I can’t watch that second solo without crying, there’s definitely something special with that
Run like hell from the Pulse concert will blow your mind! Seen PF 3 times, i’m 65 and they are out of this world!✌🏻❤️
I had the pleasure of seeing them in the 70s in Canada at a soccer stadium. greatest experience I have ever had at a concert. you get totally immersed in the music. definitely a bucket list item
I've been a big fan of Floyd for years. I'm 78 and still listen several times a week. I've seen them live a couple of times in Montreal. Yankee Stadium and Miami. If you like their music in videos, you can't imagine what it's like to see them preform live. Being there is a whole different level if euphoria. Montreal was definitely the best, the French know how to enjoy a concert. Passing joints everywhere (way before Covid) and much more friendly. Unfortunately, this experience has been left to those who were there and remember the amazing ambiance and intense music and lights. The only other event that comes close, was standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon and trying to comprehend how the Colorado River created such a majestic wonder. Listening to David Gilmore play guitar beats that hands down. Please listen to any Pink Floyd music you can get your hands on, you won't be disappointed. Old Pa
I saw them live twice, and it was like being lost in a fever dream. You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but also of mind. It was simply amazing.
“Don’t let it be over”. That’s what the rest of us say every time we hear this. In all of these years, no one has ever been able to adequately describe this experience in one try. There’s always something further to say about it. This wasn’t just a song. It’s an experience. Pink Floyd is a master of this.
No silly love songs from Pink Floyd. Just deep meaningful lyrics with stellar musicianship. I would recommend the live 1987 performance of On The Turning Away.
No silly love songs?
"Bike"
@@russellferriday8191 You know what he means, bike was quite a good pop song but it was from the 1960's very early PF things changed drastically in the 70s. You can't compare bike to what they did with their music later on.
Pink Floyd is not just a rabbit hole, it is a rabbit abyss!
Listening to Pink Floyd is like walking around a corner and bumping into an Angel : ) I was lucky enough to go to this tour show in Atlanta, GA in May of 1994!
Saw this concert at the big “O” in Montreal in 95. Many have said they envy those present. The blizzard of snowflake light covered everything. Notice the crowd, no cell phone flashes, no lit nice in the air and only at the ginning and end is there cheering. The rest of the time we were standing on our chairs in mesmerizing motionlessness. One of the best.
I am so thankful that I was able to see Pink Floyd on this very tour in May of that year (1994) at the old Foxboro Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. I was in my mid twenties, and I can honestly say that it was and still is the best concert I ever went to. It was hauntingly euphoric, as you said. It was surrealistic. The whole concert was incredibly beautiful. You'll probably want to check out some more music from this concert. Great reaction!
The lyrics are only the conscious launching point of the superconscious experience, and this piece is just one station in the astounding trip that is Pink Floyd’s “PULSE” show.
Keep exploring it, and hang on to your emotional well-being, because you’re going to be taken as far as you’ve ever been taken by music and ephemeral light.
This is the greatest Rock concert ever created, from start to finish.
David Gilmour doesn`t just play the guitar, he communicates with us in the most touching way !
I have been listening to Pink Floyd since high school. The journey began with "Meddle"... then "Dark Side of the Moon" followed by "Wish You Were Here" and "Animals"... then all the rest. They have been my favorite band my entire life. I finally was lucky enough to see them live in May of 1994 (Division Bell Tour) at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa. The "Pulse" live album is compiled recordings from the very same tour.... The most AMAZING show I've ever seen out of about 150 concerts I've been to. You're right, this was an experience that is impossible to explain. When we left, we were all numb... no, not from drugs or alcohol, but from the MUSIC. Sorry that you never had the chance to be there, however, the video and recordings from 'Pulse' and 'Delicate Sound of Thunder' will give all humanity the opportunity to witness these iconic poets, composers, and musicians for the rest of time. I love seeing young people finally being introduced to these masterpieces. Pink Floyd is meant to be listened to in a darkened room, both while straight and high, as loud as your ears and mind can stand. Trust me, you can allow yourself to have an out of body experience while listening to the entire 'Animals' album in full, as it was composed.... I'll shut up now... ENJOY !!!!!
Sorrow from pulse concert or any song from Pulse concert is other worldly!
Greetings from Miami. From the same PULSE collection, please treat yourself to SORROW, and also RUN LIKE HELL .
An interesting fact about this tour is that there were 3 indentical sets. One was the one they were using for a show, one was being set up for the next show, and the third was in transit for the third show. They rotated like this for the entire tour.
What you witnessed was the finest guitar solo ever performed. You need to experience the entire 94 Pulse concert without interruption. It is amazing. I am 69 and unfortunately could not attend this concert. I regret that to this day. 😢
Yes. It does not get any better than this.
The 1980s. Listening to Pink Floyd and going to laser Floyd. Those were some crazy, psychedelic, fun times with a great group of people. I still have all my Pink Floyd vinyl and listen to this fantastic music often.
You have managed to find one of the elusive “uncut” versions of this masterpiece, people don’t realize they are reacting to a cut version…your adrenalin rush is contagious 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Cool emphatic reaction ... yes you're right David Gilmour is one of the greatest guitarists on this planet ...every song you choose from him or Pink Floyd is special ... any suggestions for you: "Shine on you crazy diamond" or "Echoes" ... Wish you were here" ... "Hey you" ... "Time" -... "The great gig in the sky" and so on and on ...
Great song I get goose bumps everytime I here it especially when he kicks in that solo Try listening to pink floyd time the orignal another great classic
Yeah babe 😅
Welcome to the Pink Floyd world 😅🤗❤
Awesome reaction 🤘
I'm giving you a sub and like in anticipation of seeing you go down the PF rabbit hole
😘💞
I have heard this piece so many times and enjoyed it so much that I am at the point now where I know and remember every phrase played in the solo! I still find it amazing. Excellent reaction Angel. Listen to it a few more times and you will understand what I mean!
Ladies and gentlemen DAVID GILMORE is a MASTER ON GUITAR 🎸 😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed the experience! I worked for I.A.S.T.E. stage crew for the Pulse Canada. Nothing like being backstage & getting paid, mind you it was a lot of work.
First time visitor, drawn by my all-time favorite song. I was not disappointed! Many really great lyrics are vague, thus allowing listeners to assign their own meanings based on their life experiences. For me, beyond obvious (and actual, according to Roger Waters) suggestion of a drug-related comfortably numbness, I interpret comfortably numb as having become separated from the realities of life and no longer being able to appreciate its beauties or to have aspirations and to look to the future. In short, having "checked out" of life. The sadness of all of this is captured in the line, "the child is grown, the dream is gone." David Gilmour's guitar abilities are so outlandish that they overshadow his singing, not only does he have an amazing voice, he takes pains to enunciate perfectly. I am sure you will now check out more of Pink Floyd. My humble suggestion is to next react to these two songs from Dark Side of the Moon together: Time followed by Great Gig in the Sky.
Welcome to wonderful world of Pink Floyd and the amazing guitar of Dave Gilmour. Please react to more of this concert. You will be blown away
Welcome to Pink Floyd! They don't write songs. They create experiences. Each song (and each album as a whole) will grab your being and take you for a ride. And the ride can take you a different place each time you listen to it. I love watching people hearing any Floyd, and this song in particular, for the first time. Eyes glaze over, jaws go slack, time ceases until the last note and they're a changed person forever.
Thanks for turning it up so we get the full brilliance of this masterpiece
Now you've done it...a rabbit hole you will never crawl out of..."Wish You Were Here "...Same pulse concert...excellent!..👍
The guy in white at the organ is Richard Wright, original member. The drummer is Nick Mason, original member. The guy with the lead guitar and singing is David Gilmour who joined Pink Floyd when Syd Barrett could no longer function on stage. Roger Waters (bassist) was a founding member and he wrote this song. He left Pink Floyd long before this concert in 1994. The bass player is Guy Pratt (a son-in-law of Richard Wright, I believe) .
Actually most of the melody was written by Gilmore, whereas Water's wrote the lyrics. (See Beato, - RUclips, 2023).
@@gbsailing9436 Why do you have to separate. Yes Gilmour contributed amazing guitar, yes Wright provided beautiful keyboard, yes Mason provided fantastic drumming and yes Waters provided the concept of the Wall and wrote all lyrics as he did with Dark Side Of the Moon. but if you take away any part the complete brilliance of Pink Floyd is lost and would never have happened. I am 72 first saw Floyd at the Afon Lido Port Talbot Wales in 1968. Love all Floyd music collectively and separately. Just saw the Aussie Floyd in Llandudno ( none of the present line up is Australian ) but one hell of a show. ruclips.net/video/ltguPkMrgyM/видео.html
This is part of a movie soundtrack. Do yourself the pleasure of watching The Wall. It puts all the songs in context. Nice reaction. Always up for another opportunity to listen to this again.
First saw them in 1967. You knew instantly that this band was something else. The Pulse concert is probably the finest musical performance of any band in my memory and I'm 77. Love to see people enjoying it as much as I still do.🤣👏👏👍👍
The Pulse tour is probably, is probably the best tour by any band in the history of music. Just my opinion. Glad you enjoyed this👌👍
Pink Floyd's music speaks to all who listen but a fan knows that it's really speaking to him. Or her.
You just can't get any better than Pink Floyd. They are my favorite band and always will be. I have been to many of their concerts over the years, and they always put on a great show. The last time I saw them was their Division Bell Tour in 94. At the time, I had no idea I would never see them live again.
I’ve never seen Pink Floyd in concert before. That must have been such an incredible experience to be in the audience that night.
Thank you for reacting to Pink Floyd and for a great reaction!
You are spot on right, Pink Floyd is an experience and it's amazing that the Pulse live show is still, after 30 years, blowing people's minds. Unfortunately I was only 15 in 1994 when Pink Floyd took the Pulse tour to Valle Hovin, Norway, and did sadly not discover Pink Floyd before I was in my early 20's. My son was born in 2009 and David Gilmour is his favorite guitar player and Comfortably Numb his favorite guitar solo.
From the Pulse live show you can loose yourself in all of the songs really.
Shine on you crazy diamond
Us and them
Money
Sorrow
Keep talking
The great gig in the sky
Another brick in the wall
High hopes
Wish you were here
Learning to fly
I am always somewhat envious of people who are discovering Pink Floyd and see and feel their music for the first time, but once you have discovered Pink Floyd, your life will never be the same.
Great reaction Ange. Your face sure showed how much you enjoyed that performance. Hope you do another Floyd performance, there are so many you could choose.
I was there at that tour. 1994. Didn't realize I was experiencing a true life moment. It was the best concert ever in my life. I'm 66, and I can hear this a million times over!
I was at this concert in 1994. It was utterly awesome ,get the Pulse dvd and watch it all
The music SORROW and HIGH HOPES in This Pulse Concert is a magic experience!
The lead singer/guitarist is David Gilmour, my favorite musician of all time. I've been a diehard Pink Floyd fan since 1972, and ten days ago I finally had the privilege of seeing David perform this same song at Madison Square Garden 30 years after this performance. He hasn't lost a beat at 78 years old. You have stumbled upon a treasure trove like no other. Pink Floyd were one of the most influential bands in rock history, and produced several of the best selling and most loved albums of all time. This concert in 1994 is regarded as one of the best rock concerts ever staged, and you just witnessed what many people consider the greatest live rock guitar solo ever performed. Everything from this concert is a masterpiece of musicianship and showmanship. You cannot go wrong. And their studio albums are just as fantastic. I promise you this music will move, inspire and amaze you for the rest of your life, as it has mine. Welcome to the PF rabbit hole!
GREAT reaction. PF is IMO the most brilliant band in history. There's a long journey ahead.
Regular guitarists plug their guitar into an amp. Gilmour plugs it into your soul.
I’d recommend Great gig in the sky (a song about the five stages of grief) and Shine on you crazy diamond (an ode to Syd Barrett, their original lead singer who had severe mental problems)
Welcome to World of Pink Floyd. You are not alone with the emotions, I have experienced them ever since I first saw them in the 1960s. I was at that particular concert. The whole show was out of this world so I could recommend watching the whole video. The numbers are all favourites but try out High Hopes for another emotional tug. Shine on you Crazy Diamond, one of these days, The great gig in the sky, Learning to fly and probably the best ever finale, Run Like Hell. That was a great reaction. Pink Floyd basically stopped when keyboard player Richard Wright died in 2008, but Dave Gilmour still records and tours now aged 78. Check out his latest tour videos and listen to Scattered. Gilmour still at his best. Drummer Nick Mason has also toured, the bassist at Pulse Guy Pratt plays for both bands. I'm 75 now and Pink Floyd and Dave Gilmour have been my life companions. Enjoy finding out about the world's greatest band.
The only human that can humble the god's!🎼🙏🌹
That's a great reaction!! 100% genuine! Now you have to go back and listen 20 more times to see and hear everything!!
Lovely reaction! Wonderful seeing this amazing performance being discovered by younger people! ‘Sorrow’ and ‘High Hopes’ are amongst the best tracks from the Pulse gig, but pick anything and you won’t be disappointed!
Thank you
@@AngelDReactsI agree with him!
That last guitar solo was all the motivation I ever needed to learn to play guitar.
Cool reaction! I saw this tour in 1994. The flower opening up always gives me chills as it did that night. David's solo is breathtaking. Thank you!
Any song from the Pulse concert will take you to another dimension.
The best band in history my opinion. There are so many great songs. High hopes same concert
Just discovered you Angel. As a musician myself, born in 1960. I love watching the younger generation reacting to music we grew up with. You have to listen to Time and The great gig in the sky. Both tracks can be found on the Pink Floyd album The Dark Side of the Moon. They follow each other. I would very much appreciate your reaction, as i loved this one, it was fun to see your eyes open, and your ears get Biggar. Dave Gilmour is a truly gifted vocalist, but he is a guitar genius!
it's not just the music, every track tells a story and every album tells a story. that's what makes the floyd so grate
Finally, you have experienced greatness.
pulse concert is from 1994 the song is from The wall , 79.Start listening to the Dark side of the moon album , then Wish you were here .
Fantastic reaction, thank you!!!❤️👍🏻🇬🇧
The pulse concerts featured even more special effects than the previous tour, including two custom designed airships.[2] Three stages leapfrogged around North America and Europe, each 180 feet (55 m) long and featuring a 130-foot (40 m) arch resembling the Hollywood Bowl venue. All in all, the tour required 700 tons of steel carried by 53 articulated trucks, a crew of 161 people and an initial investment of US$4 million plus US$25 million of running costs just to stage. This tour played to over 5 million people in 68 cities; each concert gathered an average audience of 45,000.
I enjoyed your reaction...I have watched this performance countless times and like you I get a charge every time ❤
This whole show is amazing. Full of songs that stir your soul. Check out "Sorrow" and enjoy that epic solo as well.
The band consists of David Gilmour on lead guitar and vocals. Richard Wright on keyboard and vocals. He passed away in 2008 and took with him part of the heart and soul of the band. Nick Mason on drums and rounds out the original members of Pink Floyd. Their bass player was originally Roger Waters, who left the band a number of years ago. He was replaced with a young bass player named Guy Pratt. He is the one you see here in this show. Pratt has filled some big shoes, but is an amazingly good bassist.
Keep watching this concert. There are no bad songs in it. All are masterpieces produced by this band over 30+ years.
