Well I just came across this video by chance. I am a carp angler from Europe and I had no idea that such a device even existed. Mounted one on my spodding rod and oh man, best advice ever. Thanks for that

Fantastic, glad the fishing tip was helpful, I really like this device for casting braided lines.

haha awesome to see you using this Mark. really helps with the casting doesn't it especially wen u surfcast full time. a good tip for the cable tie is to melt the cut ends off with a lighter to soften the sharp tips

Cheers Peter, yeah this thing makes it so much easier to cast longer distances. Luckily I saw you using it :) Thanks for the tip with the cable ties, sounds like a good idea.

I use a piece of bicycle old tube from tyres in my finger, much better, you can feel the line and protect your finger and it is free, just ask to any tyre shop, they rubbish them....just a tip. My one is called bionic real free finger hahaha , I enjoy your channel.

This is an absolute finger saver but i dont think it will affect the casting distance for an experienced angler.
The only con in my opinion is when the trigger fail it will definitely break your rod with the casting force.

Remind me how many casting champions have this ha ha ha they don’t work ! I had to use hose clips to attach it and it wouldn’t hold the line properly. It’s a gimmick so apply tape to your finger is better
